Trader & Shipping Support / Anyone else reply to the Calgary Alberta Kijiji ad for lots of G1 in West Valley

Just wondering.... because the ad was edited to now say, "Due to a great deal of interest, the whole lot will go to the best offer."

I was only interested in a few ponies from the lot and I was surprised that it wasn't snapped up within hours of posting. But I see, the seller must have received numerous inquiries and now she's not interested in selling them as toys so she has backed out of selling them to someone for the original price she has listed.

I hope it wasn't an Arena member that this happened to!

Just a selfish, shallow pout.... why didn't the seller research BEFORE they listed? It's such a [edit] when they post, you reply and then they realize they COULD have sold it for more, but they didn't do their research and now they're going to back out on the transaction....

I'm so glad that Value Village started bagging up all the random plastic bits that come with toys - they used to toss the combs and other stuff if it was too small, but now they bag it and sell it for $1.99 apiece.

The Dollhouse / Elsa Schiaparelli - inspired AG doll dress!

In contrast to the regular outpouring of opinion.... I also sew! A lot! Mostly by hand!

So..... A new debut of a doll and her new dress!

This is Adeleine. Add-A-Lane.
She hails from 1869, but loves to time travel when gorgeous dresses are involved!

AUUUUUUUUUGH OMG RUCHING! What was I thinking! No I do not have silk chiffon(!!!) so this project was bound to look a little different than the original dress to begin with. But AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA trying to replicate it.

Amongst other delights: A Zelf and Zelf blindbag, a Lisa Frank puzzle, a Care Bears vintage puzzle, a Felicity's Paper Dolls and Scenes, and WATERFIRE! YES! Been looking for her again for ages! Oh and like the 4th Rainbow Dash to enter the house.

Total paid: $17.79 after taxes for it all!

Still less than what the collectors' pack with Minty sold for at Costco! What was that, like $40?

I am SOOOOOO excited to add to my doll collection. I thought I was totally uninterested in this doll scale and I just was debating boxing it all up for long-term storage.
