I've been meaning to post about the Chat magazine article all week! And today my collection was in the Sun newspaper. They came round on Monday to take some photos and I was told it would be out Sunday but they ran it early! Despite being told about the true value of the collection they STILL said it was £20k  but hey, I guess that's just newspapers. So don't tell me if there are  Natasha, who posted here a few months ago, before the Arena move, about featuring some of us in a magazine article has asked me to thank you all for being so friendly and helpful! She's been a star, the errors were definitely not down to her, I read her article for the Sun and they only used part of it and substitued the correct value for their overinflated figure. So long as the Sun still pay me then whatever, I want to buy more ponies haha Hope you enjoy the articles Sarah xx

Hi nirvana pony peeps! I've been meaning to post about this lady for ages! I think it must be a year ago since I got her! I saw her on a BIN on eBay from Canada and thought she looked different so I bought her. She is indeed different, she has sea green hair rather than blue, but her tail is still blue. The tail is the part I'm not sure about though; it's definitely a princess tail because it's thin, you know, the thin non-tinsel part that makes up a princess tail? The thing is I can't remember if the princess tails are made up of two tails (thin part and tinsel part) or if these two parts are combined together to make one tail?? If they're put into the pony seperately it's possible she just lost the tinsel part as her tail is loose, but if they were joined together and then put into the pony together then her tail is different too, as just the thin part is present. What are your thoughts on her? Even if she's not really a variant, I like her sea green mane  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hi pony peeps! Does anyone know how to get a video from online (ie this video http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-17668955 ) onto a DVD, or an electronic file that I can put on DVD? Likewise with stuff recorded from Sky which is on a Sky+ box, can anyone tell me how to get that onto a DVD/into electronic format? I probably don't have the equipment for that though Thank you! I've got myself a bit confused about Play & Care / Non Beddy Bye Eye Baby Ponies - help a pony out?? I've just bought NBBE Baby Lickety Split and was looking for her on my need list (which is sorted by the country the pony came from) and I don't have her listed! Dur! I don't know whether to put her in the UK only or the European section and also, the other ponies in the set, Baby Ribbon, Gusty and Heartthrob, are they UK or Euro? I thought Baby Heartthrob was German, or is the German version another seperate version to Play and Care/NBBE in the UK??  I are confused!!

I need to vent! I'm sick to death of people on eBay!!! I now have 2 neutrals and 2 negatives!! I've had 100% for ages and then this! Do people not send emails any more about problems?! Are people even interested in problem resolution or just complaining?! And is leaving neutrals and negatives contagious?! Because all but one have literally happened from selling one lot of stuff lately! (Even more annoying is that it's not my stuff, I sold it for my husband...) Negative number 1: Man in UK buys electronic item in NTSC/North America format and proceeds to move to Argentina then leaves negative because it doesn't work. That's because you are in SOUTH America and it is in North America format Negative number 2: Man buys an item of husband's Warhammer, leaves negative stating it is missing an arm and that I ignored his message to ask about said arm before the auction ended. Firstly I did not receive a message (anyone else having issues with messages on eBay not arriving? I've had a few...) Admittedly this thing is missing an arm and you can't tell from the photo, this was an oversight mainly due to me not knowing about Warhammer and just listing as 'sold as seen' because hubby didn't have time to go into mass descriptions for his stuff (WON'T be happening again after this nonsense!) But pray tell, WHY did this man bid when he was in any doubt about the item's condition?! He asked a question, didn't get an answer and BID ANYWAY! Neutral number 1: simply states "missing arm". Another 'sold as seen' auction but this had a CLEAR picture of the thing WITHOUT AN ARM!!! Neutral number 2: "items arrived damaged due to packaging, damage not in photo" - I know I packed everything really carefully, I always do, so something's happened here... rough postman? Dunno... But WHY WHY WHY does no one contact me about these things?!! I would rather have sent the electronics guy a full refund of his whopping 99p he spent on the thing rather than receive a negative, would rather have refunded the £2.20-something that 'ignored message man' spent on that, I would have pointed out the photo of missing arm number 2 and hoped that the buyer realised and left appropriate feedback, and I would have worked with damaged goods guy to figure out what went wrong It's just so frustrating!! I feel like no one's going to want to trade with me or buy my stuff... I have 1435 feedback and other than this it's all positive but still...  And at a time when I've just decided to buy eBay lots of ponies to do up and sell on too Thanks for reading, I just needed to get that out Sarah xx

OMG someone from the BBC put a card through my door yesterday asking me to "call them about the ponies" so I emailed and he wants to put me on Look North which is a local news show with my ponies!!!! OMG! LOL!

I am absolutely SICK of receiving customs charges on stuff I'm buying from abroad!! Between starting collecting in 2003 and summer last year I'd had a whole 3 customs charges - whatever, I can cope with that. This year I've paid about £100 in customs charges!! Every other package I receive has a charge and they don't just charge the 20% VAT, they stick an £8 handling charge on every one as well!!! Personally I think it's disgusting, especially when you consider these are mostly second hand ponies! If I bought these in the UK they wouldn't receive VAT on them so why should I pay it on second hand stuff from abroad?! I'm going to have to give serious consideration to buying just from the UK which limits what's available to me To top it all off my husband is now having to sit on the phone to UPS while I'm at work because some stroppy cow just came to deliver some ponies from the US with a customs charge on and because he didn't have any cash on him she said she's sending them back to the US! What about arranging re-delivery?! I'm so fed up of this. Has anyone else noticed an increase in these charges or have I just been really unlucky? Sarah xx

I've recently started buying eBay lots and one arrived yesterday. I knew there was a Peachy in the lot but from the photo I couldn't tell that she's Italian, and I don't have Italy Peachy yet, so that was a really nice surprise! So I was talking to my man last night about ponies, as you do, and I mentioned G2 Spike. I know he's not officially Spike, but still, he's a dragon so... I produced, upon Joe's request, the various generations of Spike and he pondered them for a minute and then declared "that one's not Spike!" Hi! Given my recent appearance in the news with my ponies I thought it would be fun to start scrap booking articles when MLP are featured in the press Do any of you happen to have scans or links to any articles where MLP were in the news at all that you wouldn't mind emailing me for a scrap book? I know there were some articles featuring other collectors on the walls at Ponycon... 2010 maybe? Scans of those would be awesome! I have a hard copy of the coverage of the first Pony Convention in Morcambe, that's definitely going in I'm also going to put in some photos from Ponycon that I took too Squeee, I like projects like this, much fun!
