So i have been so excited about starting the butterfly swap i thought I would make a little butterfly while I waited! She has saran hair that has been hand blended so that it fades from on colour to the next. Her wings are made from printed acetate and fantasy film. Her symbol is delicate swirls, stars and swarovski crystals.

A commission for Steff who wanted a pink version of an earlier custom Sakura.
Her corset is sculpted with apoxie sculpt and painted with acrylics, hair is a mix of pink and white nylon that has been given a loose curl, twisted into a bum then decorated with paper cherry blossoms and hair sticks.
She also has a painted cocktail umbrella.

Ok so i know here in the Uk we had our first official day of spring a while ago now but for me spring starts when I see my first butterfly of the year and that was today! So i thought it would be a good idea to host a butterfly themed swap as i know i can't be the only person who loves these winged heralds of nice weather!

Partners assigned before or on: April 29
First check in: May 30
Second check in 30 June
 Final Check in, progress pics : July  24th
Ship date: July 31st

Rules:
1. You must have 5 positive arena feedback.
2. You must have been an arena member for at least 6 months before sign ups are over.
3. You must have pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs to show the quality of your work. This is a skill based swap and I need to know where to put you.
4. Ship on time! I realize real life issues come up sometimes. If this happens, I want to know about it as soon as you realize you will be late.
5. No shipping early! I will be withholding addresses until shipping time to prevent this. The exception will be after final check in and your partner is ready to ship as well. I don't want anyone disappointed in this swap and with so many people going MIA lately, it's best for everyone to hold off until we are sure their partners haven't disappeared.
6. Be prepared with progress pics at progress date.
7. Send me pictures of your completed custom before you ship. I want to know your custom is complete before it goes out.
8. Let me know right away when you ship your custom and when you receive one.
9. Do not let anyone know who your partner is. It is secret.
10. This swap includes all generations of flowers (G1, G2, G3, G3.5, and G4), if there are any of these you do not like, include that in your form. Do not use any fakies unless your partner requests it.
11. You must be in no more than 2 other swaps (total of 3).
12. PM the sign up form to me (assassin_kitty) by the sign up deadline.
13. You must check in with pictures for the final check in 1 week before shipping.
14. KEEP YOUR SHIPPING RECEIPTS! You need to be able to produce proof of shipping when asked. You need to hold onto your receipt until your partner confirms that they have received their fart. I also highly recommend delivery confirmation for those not shipping internationally.

you're customs with glasses! i am working on a commission at the moment that needs a pair and I'm not sure how I'm going to do it so any helpful hints and tips would  be great, or just some pics of you're customs to help inspire me please!!

Ok so just what it says up there! i really want to try making a MH doll custom but just can't seem to find any for sale in my area so I wondered if anyone had some for sale, maybe one who's hair is a little frizzy or who just isn't loved anymore (unlikely i know!)
I can either pay for them or perhaps if you have more than one we could work out some kind of trade!

This custom is a commission for the very patient VenomxVixen  on DA who wanted a custom with one of my sculpted peacock tails but with an oriental empress feel so here she is!
She started out as a G3 Citrus sweetheart her new outfit is all sculpted with apoxie sculpt and painted with acrylic paint.
She has been rehaired with a mix of nylon hair colours that has been styled up into a bun and decorated with paper cherry blossoms and decorative hair pins. i even managed to find some little peacock charms for her hair and necklace too!
there are loads of swarovski crystals on this one, well she is an empress after all!
