Just as the title reads...

Could I please get a PC?

The ponies themselves do have a bit of ink on them, but it really isn't too bad.

I also have a Moondancer MOC, but am not sure I want to part with her.

My birthday was coming up and I found a lot with a necklace for a Jewelry Baby- this is the next set I plan to pursue...

Here is the auction link

What do you see?

To an un-trained Eye (like my own) this is what I saw:
Suitcase
7-Tales Clover (My first in this series)
Flower-Bluebell (My first in this series)
Jewelry- Diamond's? necklace

I was getting ready for a sale with another arena member who has a CC Minty on her list, so I reached into the suitcase to pull out Minty and look her over...To my surprise she looks faded, so then I squeeze her and notice how squishy she was, so I flip her over and behold I have an INDIA made FUNSKOOL pony in my possession!

This is what I ended up keeping (see anything from the auction you are interested in not highlighted below I'm open to offers)

My cell phone adapter has disappeared, but when I was home over the winter holidays I went through old photo albums and found a photo of me holding the coveted Sprinkles... I wish I could share the photo with you all...

I need some advice. Do I have any recourse?

I already placed a claim with e-Bay to dispute the Neutral feedback.

The buyer  corine79 has been a member of e-bay for just over 1 year

I have already added corine79 to my list of blocked buyers and sent a message. The worst part is they did NOT even let me resolve the issue before leaving feedback.

If you think that something is misrepresented/ not as described isn't the first step to let the seller know and at least have the opportunity to resolve the issue?

Furthermore if there are minor issues you cannot forgive on a pony wouldn't you message the seller to double check and see if it had any of those issues?

In 5 years of collecting it is unrealistic to expect a 30 year old pony to be flawless (although wouldn't that be nice)...

Some of my favorite candies, Skyflier's sticker, a LEGO minifig, Mistletoe complete  with accessories!

G1 Sweet Lily- can anyone tell if she has a hair cut? Her hair feels really thick, so maybe when I brush it it will look longer, but I know the PP ponies have shorter hair, so maybe it just looks funny on this pose?

Anyway as special tanks goes out TINAMARIE.

Trader & Shipping Support / TIME WASTER.....Ebay-er crystaldrake????
« on: January 31, 2013, 07:21:25 AM »
Time waster. I got offers for $2 each for some of my ponies listed as BIN/ Best offers - offering FREE shipping. AT least make an offer that will minimally cover the cost of shipping!

She offered $2 each for 7 of my ponies... I told her I would sell ALL 7 for $55 and her response was:

Quote
I normally try to purchase ponies for around $2 per item. As the costs of shipping and time need to be covered, I try to make it worth your time and effort by making offers on multiple items.... with the thought that there may be some items which you might not want to deal with anymore. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Furthermore she sells ponies and knows the value.... And the e-Bay/ Paypal fees....

Sorry for the rant, but I hate NPB and time wasters.

Update:

Dear crystaldrake,

If I wanted to sell them for $2-3 each I would have listed them in lots. Not to mention I can see that you know the value of ponies from your sales and you list your BIN at $10, so that to me says you want to make a profit on my own ponies.... I can see you offer no less than $10 on the ponies you try to sell.

I am a collector and I know the value of a pony, and also you being a seller yourself know the fees associated with Ebay and Paypal alike.

Thank you for your time and best of luck with your sales. I can see most of your ponies have done quite well!

Dear chipsterj,

Actually, you are incorrect. I have two ponies listed for $10 that I currently do not believe will sell. They are trials based on EBay's current listing sale. I normally sell ponies at $4.99 with free shipping. The ponies cost $2 each, the shipping costs $2 (usually around $1.8), and the remainder pays EBay/Paypal fees and the cost of the shipping packaging materials. A few ponies I sell come in higher than that, most sell at that same rate. Prior to that, I listed all ponies for $0.99 at auction plus actual shipping costs.

So, why do I do it if I don't really make a profit? My daughter is 10 years old and she has decided that her new mommy/daughter activity is making ponies pretty so we get them, fix them up together, and then resell them. I don't do the collector thing... I'm just doing it to have fun and spend quality time with my daughter.

Also, please note that the "Best Offer" settings on EBay allow you to set a minimum dollar amount that you will accept. So (for example) what I sell to make money on EBay is Irish things... I recently sold an Aran sweater which I paid $30 wholesale for it; therefore, the minimum Best Offer amount I would entertain is $35 (to cover costs) so I set the Best Offer minimum to $35 as this would cover the product cost and any selling fees and then automatically reject best offers lower that that.

Again, I do not wish to offend you. I am just looking for project ponies for family time.... and I'm not a collector and don't know the value of ponies.... which is why I have owned much of what you have listed and sold it to other for *under* $10 (yes, with combs, bottles, hairbrushes, ponywear, and various accessories).

Pony Corral / I think Hasbro Gave the Princess buggy to the wrong pony!
« on: January 24, 2013, 10:44:45 AM »
So, I found a princess buggy & Pearlized Moondreamer sitting on my desk... then I combined them, and I think she is a much better fit for the buggy!

What do you think? Are there any other cute ponies that should have been given this buggy instead?

My computer has a virus.. It still works in safemode, I'm writing this from my own computer working in safemode.

My presence will be quite limited. I have signed up for the V-Day swap & Army ones. I am still waiting for my $30 holiday box to arrive.

This warning shouldn't last more than about a week. I will try my best to keep up with outstanding transactions and e-bay sales.

I have been thinking of upgrading anyway. Probably not going to be resolved for a couple of weeks. I tried getting 2 quotes to fix it and both were $200+ Using Windows XP currently anyway to upgrade to Windows 8 will be costing me nearly as much as a new computer and I've always wanted a laptop....

I was getting some ponies ready to sell on evilbay last night and my love for the rainbows made me look at those on my self and to my amazement--- yet another anomaly!

Ok, I admit there is very little research/ knowledge in this post, so it quite possibly is worth a chat and some fantasizing....

What do you get when you cross an Italy with a US pony?

Italy Pony: Paint Only

US Pony: Glitter Only

Pay special attention to the eyes- even the eyes reflect a scary cross breeding... I love finding small anomalies in ponies!

Trader & Shipping Support / Frankenstorm headed for the East Coast (USA)
« on: October 25, 2012, 08:57:36 PM »
I have spent the last month fighting with my ISP to deliver reliable service. Found out that  the company got hacked and was successful in hacking my email (all fixed now).

Tonight it took me 3 hours to get online- I think this time it may have to do with a FRANKENSTORM- I don't want to get all psyched out, but it could be interesting/ exciting or even tragic...

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57540360/hurricane-sandy-may-slam-into-u.s-east-coast-as-halloween-week-frankenstorm/

There is a high possibility that my internet activity for the next couple of weeks could be very limited.

Also anyone ordering from e-Bay sellers in the NE/Mid Atlantic States (USA) may experience shipping delays if the storm hits...

.. as with anything it may veer off and not be a concern, but always prep for the worst!

Time to shop for propane, for my camping stove and water.
