here's the long and short of it: I had an auction that sold for 17$ shipped. I shipped the items and got a tracking number, however the number was one of those ones that just verifies stuff is sent, not a "delivery confirmation"(don't ask me, its some new thing the post office is doing) Anywho, fast forward to barely a week after the item was sent and the buyer is messaging me saying they didn;t get their item. At first(for 2 weeks) I suggested that they be patient and wait for the item to arrive. then finally the buyer got tired of waiting. So I go to the Post office, and they tekll me the item was delivered to the address provided OR it is being held at the post office local to the address given, and that is the only information they can give.They give me the number for consumer affairs for me/them to verify all this information I inform the seller from this and suggest that they call the number. Then suddenly it comes out that the seller cannot make this phone call because they "do not live in the US ". I reply saying, they address you gave was in the US so I'm confused why they would not be able to make a US phone call, THEN they reply with the fact that the address they gave is a US address they use for ebay items that someone holds/takes care of their ebay items. I inform them that I cannot be held responsible for something that disappeared if they did not have me send their item to the proper address. I would have gladly (tho not really) have sent the item to the proper out of the US address had they provided it, but they did not, so I cannot be held responsible for the loss of an item in this circumstance. Everything is mostly cordial through all this, but given the information I write it off as a loss and figure that is the end of it... well today they opened a case with ebay, an now I'm worried that, thanks to evil-bays new "the customer is always ALWAYS right" policies, that I'm going to be refunding for this item that I knwo was sent to the correct address. here's the message i sent to ebay "Hello, This item was sent to an American address. When the buyer first contacted me about the item not showing up, I informed them that the post office claimed that the item was at their local post office waiting to be picked up. this was according to their consumer affairs department. I informed the buyer of this information, & suggested that they go to theit local post office and pick the item up. It was at this time that the buyer informed me that they were NOT IN THE US, & that they had provided an address to have other items delivered to that was not thiers . I then informed them to call their local branch of post office where the package was claimed delivered. Again the buyer stated they were not in the US and were unable to make the call to either verify the shipment was waiting at that local office, or make the drive/journey to said post office for the item. I suggested the buyer call cons affairs and they refused to I don't know what else to do, I have gone above &beyond to resolve this issue" does anyone know ebays policies on a situation like this, or if I will simply get compuuter/automated responses and be made to refund to this whack ebay buyer who obviously doesn't understand how to have an item shipped to them properlyP.S. I got this in a lot of Bratz clothing today, so it COULD very well be a Bratz skirt, but it fits Frankie so PERFECTLY both physically and style-wise, that I'm just not sure. it has her colors and nuts and bolts, so it's almost definetly hers, but I went through the entire release list of frankie's releases and fashions, and can't find the skirt... thoughts... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

So its driving me nuts after watching the webisode and seeing her in the 5 pack...
I don't THINK she's supposed to be a Ballerina, because Laagoona is already the one marked as "Ballet", yet she seems very ballet like in her outfit and how she danced in the webisode (with help from Invisibilly, WOOT)...
Is she going to be considered "contemporary" dancer?
Come to think of it, I wonder what type of dancer Gl is supposed to be too...now for him it might make sense to be Ballet since he is Goona's partner after all...

So the topic has come up in several other threads that we ought to try to have some sort of nmeet ups or convention for monster high...
1. Would you be interested?
2. Where are you located? (include city state and country)
3. would you be willing to Head up a committee or help out in some way?
4. How would we advertise it?
5,How far would you travel for it?
I'm not exactly trying to take the reigns on this, as I know from second hand experience that running a convention is a hard job, but I think it would be neat to see where folks stand on this

3. I'd definetly head something up for my area, but am not easily available to travel

It seems like Wave Dancer is the only adult who is common, or perhaps the first wave(snicker) of sea ponies. I'm wondering why Ponies like White Cap, Sand Dollar, etc are so hard to find and so expensive? does anypony know? was there a shorter production run on them? Do they get mistaken for something other than "My little Ponies"? Just wondering since it seems yu can't get any of them for under 60$ or more

I absolutely LOVE this board, I lurk here pretty much all day every day off and on...but I'm wondering, is there somewhere else that folks go to for Monster High news, pics, customs, etc etc etc? I know there are lots of different boards, like http://www.monsterhighdolls.com/ and of course the different facebook pages..., but I don't seem to get the same reception at the ones I have tried, whereas here it's an already established friendly, active and popular community. I just wish we had seperate sections for customs, news, etc etc. I'm very grateful that the sales board is seperate...and I do think it's easy enough to navigate here, but still. I dunno I just find it odd that I get most of my info for MH from a pony site...I love Ponies as much as MH, so its all good to be in one place, so don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining or wanting to change things, I'm just wondering if the experience is the same for everyone else... So, do you ONLY rely on the arena for your Monster High online experience? or where else do you go?

CateDartfinger was my partner for the Alternate Rehair II swap and she listed Windy as one of her favorites. I'd been anxious to try out Restoredoll's thermal hair, so I picked a "wind" color and voila. How it works is -there are 16 slots for customs ( for this challenge, it would be one for each originalTwice as Fancy pony, each slot only goes to one individual customizer.) For now we will only have 16, if interest becomes popular, we can add the Rockin beats and/or Sunshine ponies --The customizer creates said custom, and supplies pics by the given deadline.(check in deadlines/pics are listed below) --- Within a week of the deadline, the collage is created where we show off ALL the customs together in one colassally awesome picture similar to the catalog pics Hasbro made back in the 80s ...individual customs can be shown off in seperate threads, with close ups etc. AFTER the collage has been posted. The custom you make is yours to do with as you please after it's been used in the collage, keep it for your collection, sell it, donate it, whatever, basically you are creating it to be part of a bigger picture and nothing more, nothing less... When Monster High first came out, I noticed their similarities to the original line of Winx dolls (not the current line but the one from 5 or so years ago). Anywho, I've had some spare dolls in my bins for fodder for sometime now, and I finally got around to making one: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI think that next to Ghoulia her little "cousin" fits in well, but when put next to Howleen, who would arguably be about the same age, her head is noticably smaller... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginhttp:// visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo my question is what do you ghouls think? Do the Winx dolls make for good custom cousins/little sisters, or are they too off in their scale?

Well, the first Group Custom Pony Collage Challenge: Big brothers and Mountain boys, will be wrapping up in a few days, so its time to start deciding what our next challenge should be.
I've selected 6 options of some of the largest groups of ponies, with several options to add to them if we need to (i.e. we could add the "sippin sodas" to "scented ponies) if we had lots of interest.

Like the thread title says, do you have a So soft Truly thats in need of deflocking or is bait-worthy?
