We've decided to get a friend for our cat Helmer. He's is young, only 8 months old, hates to be alone and is very playful, so I think he would appreciate it. We have already picked out a kitten from an animal shelter, but she's still very young and not ready to move until July.
I am a little worried though, that they might not like each other. It would be awful to have to take her back to the animal shelter again.
Anyone who have any experience with this? Does it usually work out or is it a lottery? Any advice is appreciated.

Sandi's Brag ThreadLatest brag on page 6! I've started many brag threads recently, but from now on I'll only post in this thread. Today I got a lovely Baby Princess Sparkle! She's one of my favorite G1 babies and I've been looking for her for quite some time. I would love to get her little baby buggy as well. This picture doesn't do her justice. Her hair looks much pinker irl. She's in really good condition. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNext week I'm waiting for some awesome G2s to arrive, and one of them is a grail.

According to the TV commercials it's all about making them look pretty, brushing their hair, taking care of them and such things. I was kind of a tomboy when I was little and didn't care for that kind of things at all. My ponies went on adventures and fighting bad guys. :p
Maybe that's why my childhood ponies (and dolls) are in such good condition. I didn't pretend to be a hair stylist and cut their hair, I didn't care about putting "make-up" on them by drawing on them etc. They were a little dirty because I sometimes played with them outside, but it was just surface dirt and really easy to clean.
How did you play with your ponies?

I recently bought some G1 comic books and I really enjoy reading them, even though the story is not always that good. xP It's fun to learn more about the G1 ponies personalities. The books I got are in Swedish, but I'm pretty sure they're just translated from the UK comic books. One thing I noticed is that not only unicorns could use magic. I've seen several earth ponies and pegasi do it too. If I remember it correctly only the unicorns could use magic powers in the G1 TV series. Have you read any G1 comics? What do you think about them? Have you noticed anything that you want to share?

I have a few G2s that are missing their eye jewels and I would like to get some replacement ones, but I don't know where. I also wonder what kind of glue I should use.

I've noticed that eye scratches are more common on ponies in the Crumpet pose, Baby Ember pose and Baby Lollipop pose. Have anyone else noticed this and perhaps have a theory on why?

I got these sweeties in the mail today. Baby Liquorice is near mint. Baby Lollipop has a few small scratches in the eyes and a few small marks on the non display side, but other than that she's gorgeous. I think I got them for a pretty good price too, $30 for Baby Liquorice and $27 for Baby Lollipop. visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI also got my first mummy charms. I got G1 Bright Night and Morning Glory (without wings), G2 Magic Star Swirl, and a Fairytale bird for $30, shipping included. They were all pretty dirty but cleaned up really well. I bought the lot mostly for Magic Star Swirl. Did I overpay? How hard is Magic Star Swirl to find? Her hair is a little cut, but not much. Here's a pic of her: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI also got her ring and two other accessories. Are they from mlp? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Today I was at the library to set up the display. They'll be there for three weeks. I saw several people stop to look at them. An old man started talking about how he remembers that his grandchild used to watch the movies and play with the toys. As some of you know I'm gonna display some of my collection at the library soon. I need to write some information about MLP in general and then something about every generation. Of course I'm not asking you to write it for me, I just want suggestions what to include. I'm kind of bad at deciding what information is important and sometimes I just focus too much on details. Help from you guys are very much appreciated.

I've started to like these and I wanna start collecting them. I don't know much about them though. How easy are they to find? What do they usually sell for? Are there any rare ones?
Please show me yours!
