I was thinking about this just now as I am sat on my lunch break, scrolling through posts on the Arena on one hand and answering emails on the other!

I am intrigued to know what you all do outside of the Arena - what’s your day job; what do you do or what did you used to do as a career/skill/profession? Or are you a stay at home parent? Probably the hardest job there is!

I am a Secondary School teacher. I absolutely LOVE my job. I teach Fine Art and Ceramics to students aged 11-18 years old. Most students know I collect My Little Pony and find it intriguing - I have lots of ponies in my classroom that they enjoy drawing and sometimes they bring in ponies of their own from when they were younger to add to our motley crew class collection which is nice!

I’ve been teaching for 6 years and worked in retail before that while I did my degree. If there are any retail employees here I feel your pain!! Hats off to you guys, dealing with the general public is NOT fun  I don’t miss those days at all!

So tell me what’s your job? I hope we have some weird stuff like CIA operative, FBI agent? Professional trapeze artist? International spy??

I've been collecting for a good few years now, and as my wishlist gets smaller it also gets more expensive! So in order to fund my pony obsession and complete my collection I'm offering up prints of my pony artwork and also opening up for commissions!

I am more than happy to trade artwork for ponies. My wishlist can be found in my signature. As the majority of ponies I am looking for are HTF, I am happy to do partial trades to make values fair.

I produce the majority of my work using pencils and/or Photoshop, but I also paint and do black and white work also. I am a secondary school Fine Art teacher, so I fit this work in around my job and other commissions that I take such as pet portraits and graphic design work. However, I can generally complete a MLP commission in 48hrs.

I am a G1 collector so my artwork tends to have a G1 focus but I do like to do G4 style drawings too! I love to do commissions of OC's as well as Hasbro ponies.

I've been out of the forum loop for about 5 years now and prices seem to have changed a lot!

Please could someone give me rough prices for items below?

There is a complete Pony Luv outfit, and another outfit that looks like it's for bathing? It has a white bath cap and a towel with it, but I don't actually know the name of the outfit! There are tons of ribbons in a bag too, all original but I don't know which ponies they actually belong to. I think there might even be a Strawberry Shortcake comb too (red).

If there is anything that is slightly more sought after in the lot it would be great if you could point it out, I know nothing about accessories really!

I recently ordered some hair to rehair a lovely, but bald Starglow I bought. However Golden Delicious, we have now established, is the wrong colour! Her yellow stripe in fact seems to be a closer match for Lemon Drop, so does anyone have a hank (or even half a hank) or Lemon Drop they would be willing to swap for Golden Delicious? I really won't ever use Golden Delicious and I don't want it to go to waste in my drawer, gathering dust!

I'm having trouble finding a match for Glow n Show Starglow's hair...there seems to be some conflicting opinions on what colours are an exact match for her hair!


I think TAF Buttons is Atomic Turquoise...is this correct?
