I doubt there is an exact answer to this question, but maybe it's possible to get a general feel. I might be able to get a large lot of Ponies (G3 and G4) plus a couple Equestria Girls dolls for a really good price. I don't collect those, though, so the main idea would be to sell them to other people (so I would be able to get the Ponies that I DO want). I'm not out to make a huge profit or anything, but even selling a few of the G3s at decent prices would make up the initial cost of buying the lot. (One of them is Silver Rain, who I think is sought-after? I think another one might be Anchors Away, who had a limited release.)) I don't want to have a bunch of them just sitting around for a long time, though. So, ant ideas on how long it might take to sell Ponies? I don't have experience with this, so I'm hoping some of you other collectors can help me out.

I'm quite curious about who plays with their colorful little equine toys and who just displays them. ![Kawaii ^.^](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/kawaii2.gif) How about it? Do you play with them or is your collection for show only?

So I picked up my Baby Dots n' Hearts today (haven't started cleaning her yet) and noticed that her white forelock is turning brown. It looks the same as tail rust, but there shouldn't be metal in her head, right? (Obviously, I haven't taken her apart to investigate.) Any ideas? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

This is my only G3. I found her at a thrift store a few months ago (with some reeeeeeeaaaally frizzy hair--you can see her on this thread: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,373839.0.html ). I'm not really into G3s; I got her because she was there and I wanted a Pony. (I hadn't pulled out my collection at that point.) Anyway, I'm debating whether or not to keep her. Any idea what she is worth? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPost Merge: October 28, 2015, 04:59:06 PMAnd I just realized that I posted this in the wrong place. Oops.... What should I do about Sweet Notes' factory-crimped hair? Here is how she looked when I pulled her out of the storage box: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere she is after wetting her hair with cool water: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt still looks quite frizzy. Should I try conditioning it with cool water I'd like to save the crimping if possible, but it doesn't look very good right now...

I have had these Ponies for as long as I can remember. Since their symbols were missing some shine, I gave them a bit of new sparkle. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) Sunlight. Not sure why I have two, but I've always had them. I played they were twins named Sunrise and Sunset. I have some others to do, as well, but I'll get to them another time.

I know they aren't super-uncommon, but I was just wondering. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) A little harder to find than CF collector's pose, right? Also, is there a FF Lemon Drop?

I saw a Pony car (one that you pull back and let go) at a thrift store the other day. Since I don't collect G3, I didn't get it, but I was wondering what those are worth.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'm just curious: Would you rather have an original pony with flaws (e.g. rubbed glitter symbols, missing some hair, maybe a mark or two) or a restored one? I'm not a hard-core, must-have-mint-condition collector, so I don't mind a few imperfections. And I'm currently enjoying re-glittering some of my childhood friends who have lost some of their shine. I'm loving how bright they are again. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) How do you see it, though? Is it better to have "unretouched" Ponies, in your opinion?
