For those who were waiting for photos of my current herd.. Y'all don't have to wait any longer!  Sorry for all the shadows! My room doesn't have the best lighting.. 
My new shelving unit also holds multiple collections..not just MLP! I decided to display the newly bought ponies on it, with the exception of two babies. Baby Moondancer is not pictured; she's currently undergoing restoration treatment.

Bowtie, AppleJack, FF Blossom and SS Fifi are still in the special barn stable area..  I put the plastic baggie over them for dust protection, but I gotta give them another light cleaning..

And here are my new beauties! All of them have had their spa treatments, with the exception of Cherries Jubilee, because she didn't need one (wow!) and Butterscotch, because I simply forgot about her... oops! Sorry, girl!  The Glitter sisters are separated..I know that will bother some of y'all. I will eventually display the babies and their accessories better..

Do the second set of TEs have longer tails or have I just been inspecting ponies for way too long at one setting??  My Quackers just came in Saturday and upon a good look over, I noticed her tail was quite longer in comparison to my other ponies.. then I thought perhaps it was just a TE thing.? So, I pulled out all my other childhood TEs and did notice Locket also has an interestingly longer tail..? Any insight is appreciated! 

How do you slow down bad plastic / hard ponies? I know you can't keep it from happening but are there some tricks to slow the process down? Also, is it true the "disease" can spread to 'healthy' ponies? Or is that just a rumor? I have my rock hard Boysenberry Pie with my other ponies and wondered. Thanks!

Hay ponies! Got a two-part question here regarding a G1 Sweetberry MLP. . . My Boysenberry Pie is a very beautiful dark purple shade. Over the years, her plastic has become hard, other than that, she's in great original condition. A picture can be found in pony brag area under "MLP Collection." 1) Is the dark purple color a factory flaw (I'm guessing yes) and would this combo be good and bad as far as value/rarity?  2) How do you combat the hard plastic, or would you just "let her be?" I'm not selling her, was just curious. ..All the other BPs I have ever seen are not this color..and she's the only pony in my herd with this weird hard plastic. Thanks for your input!

My G1 USA MLP Collection -- NFS -- From back, left to right:
BB Chief (cut front lock, slight symbol rub, some age spotting is starting to appear..waa. This is not from having Masquerade near him, I always had them separate until recently.)
TE Masquerade (pen/crayon markings, age spots, needs a bath! Tail is mysteriously thin…? I think the washer is messed up..? Maybe I pulled some out as a child, but I honestly don’t remember..lol.)
Common (Year 2?) Starshine (Aside from traditional fading and some symbol rust, she’s a beauty…I’m wondering if it would be worth it to re-glitter the symbols?)
Medley  <3 (My first -- long hair version! She may have slight imperfections, but I don’t care..hehe. She needs another trip to the pony salon!)
SS North Star (needs a bath, but I’m not touching; traditional flocking loss/thinning, small pen mark on a leg)
Gusty (Her head kinda leans to make a small gap in the head seam, but precious aside from that..needs a bath!)

Baby Surprise (Slight symbol rub on display side, slight glitter loss on nondisplay side, but barely noticeable.. I cleaned her recently -- I got her FREE at a 1990s garage sale, with tail rust..lol. It has come up a lot with toothpaste treatments, but I haven’t fixed her yet, and I’m afraid to do it myself! She could use another trip to the pony salon; her hair towards the ends is on the dry side.)
I also have the aqua blue duck comb for Baby Pockets and a sheer MLP “blanket” that was part of an outfit originally purchased for Gusty a long time ago. :-P

Bowtie (What a beauty -- long hair version! I cleaned her recently and took some clear glue substance off of her ear. Some yellow play wear marks on her ears, I think the glue discolored the tips?, who knows how long it had been on her.. One bowtie on each side is slightly rubbed – on the insides, not border, but barely noticeable. One was like that when I purchased her, the other I did when cleaning her.. I was kicking myself!! But it’s on the nondisplay side, so I got over it, sort of..lol)
Apple Jack (What a beauty -- short hair version! A couple of apples have super tiny rubs, but barely noticeable, and I’m OK with it!)
FF Blossom (What a beauty! Some symbol wear (hairline scratches) here and there on some of her flowers, but no biggie to me. Needs a bath, but I don’t want to mess with her..lol.)
SS Fifi (What a beauty! Only thing I found wrong with her when I got her is slight flocking loss on the tip of her horn..)
