I can't think of a clever name for her... I had this hairless Sugarberry around for a while. I bought her off Depop but couldn't think of a color scheme for her until later. I just had some extra hair from my Moonstone custom and some UV pinky purple so I went nuts. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd out in the sun: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI was impatient, I bet the purple would be stronger in summer or during the afternoon. The curls are a bit wonky, but I hope they stay in! She doesn't look as good with straight hair.

Hi, I'm Tailrust/Tealeaf, and I've been googling My Little Pony, going to the "News" tab, and then sorting by most recent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Today I found something on a Kidscreen article. I suggest reading the whole article but I put the important bits below: The introduction of new characters and a departure from designs featured in Friendship is Magic and Pony Life is intended to shift the brands focus to more modern themes like diversity and inclusion. The moviess main character, for example, is an activist working to make the pony world a better place. Instead of abandoning the franchises characters and stories, the movie will take place in the same world featured in Friendship is Magic and Pony Life, but jump ahead in time to focus on a new generation of ponies and unexplored corners of Equestria. This creates opportunities to include nods to the propertys previous iterations, both in upcoming content and consumer products offerings. 4/30/2021: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI know a lot of you won't be happy about the reuseage of Equestria, but I enjoy seeing past generations hinted to so I think I would like to see a lot of hints to pre-G4 stuff. Probably G1 if anything, but I'm hopeful for others. I'm also very excited for the merchandise stuff, but that's probably just me.  Reminder that the movie comes out September 24th, 2021. My Little Pony is getting a TV show reboot, for example. Goldner said more upcoming projects will be announced at the company's investor day on February 25. --- 2/12/2021: In a turn that doesn't surprise anyone, the movie's distribution has been picked up from Paramount by Netflix for worldwide distribution ASIDE from China, where eOne is doin' that. Paramount Pictures was originally set to distribute the film, which had been scheduled to open in theaters on Sept. 24, 2021. Hasbro’s entertainment studio Entertainment One produced the movie and will retain distribution rights in China.
Though the exact release date is unclear, “My Little Pony” is expected to land on Netflix later this year. And directors: Robb Cullen and Jose Ucha directed the upcoming installment with Mark Fattibene. Cecil Kramer and Peter Lewis served as producers.
I tried to find the directors past filmography and didn't see much of interest. Reviving so I can sort of keep things neat and organized and others don't have to do much scrolling through pages. 9/3: Glowin' Up, previously heard in the Singing Star Princess Petals toy, has been officially released (There are Youtube reuploads if the linked song doesn't work-it releases midnight local time so it only just became available to me a few minutes ago). Just a little over 20 days to go until the movie releases.. 9/15: Fit Right In, previously heard in the Singing Izzy Moonbow plush, has been released in Korean alongside animation from the movie. 9 days left!

Does anyone remember which ponies were available in the Build-a-Pony stores? I can't find many pictures of the ponies available, and I don't remember myself! I think probably Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, but I don't know for sure.
I also found a picture on a forum that implies that Spring Parade and Cinnamon Breezes were available through it...does anyone know for sure? Any memories?

I found out about these a few days ago, they're like mini Build a Bears but are smaller and poseable. They've been available in the Asian Disney parks for a while now but are coming Stateside tomorrow! ShopDisney link for January 19th. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey're releasing Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Stitch, and Angel alongside an undetermined amount of clothing and accessories. I did some google searching the other day and saw Aristocrats Nuimos exist too! I'm excited for these and would love to mod or make my own pony one. I'll probably pick up a Minnie or Angel if the price isn't bad but my priority is definitely the clothing until Chip/Dale or the Aristocrats coming out. They plan to release new ones around the start of each month. I know we have some Disney fans here, anyone else excited for these?

I've not been selling frequently lately due to school and have just been letting my listings slowly get bought up without me touching them, so I can't say if I've seen listings be hidden for being similar. I have heard some people say their listings are not showing up just in general.

My wish to create supermarkets for all my ponies is unfortunately too strong and the playsets only get me so far.
I know G4 ponies can fit in the Woodzeez/Calico critters stuff, but what about G1 and G3? Are there any nice playsets or miniatures that are scaled for them?

Yeah, I never actually rehaired her with blue, and I can never think of any good alicorn ideas. I snagged another Applejack from Target and just did a head transplant so I can have easier bases.  Which means I have a pegasus I can still make something out of! Cool. I actually painted the pony itself a month ago or so, before the semester got too crazy. I'm still working on being patient and making the eyes look good, but it was cool to have some sort of free reign on the shape of it. I'm sure that will be cooler the more comfortable I get with drawing eyes. I don't know how she got dust on the back of her ear, probably just something that happened when I used sealant on her paint. I tried to incorporate pearlizing medium into her hooves, I don't think I used enough of the stuff, but I do like that I painted her hooves at all! The chipping...I heard that Dolljunk uses superglue on joints to prevent chipping, but either it didn't work or the glue I used wasn't super enough. There's also some spot where I nicked her paintjob when I was rehairing that is expertly hidden in the photographs. Bleh. I didn't save any paint that I had mixed and I don't feel like patching it, so she'll just face the other way on my shelf. Her hair is nylon from Dolltress. It's really nice! I still prefer TheDollPlanet stuff but there are some very pretty blends that I'll keep an eye on in the future. It'll be good to use on customs where I want a less-smooth look. It's not a 1-1 match for Moonstone but that doesn't bother me all too much. I had an idea for the pegasus, but now I'll think of something else, since it would be silly to paint her blue when Rainbow Dash exists now. Oh!! Her tail! Is very very thin. I'll have to expand the hole next time, it wasn't deep nor large enough to make it easy to glue anything in. I hate glueing hair in period...but I don't think there's a way to circumvent this. I may put more hair around the general tail area on her just to get some pink in there, but I'd suggest drilling more space in if you customize one yourself.

I've had some downtime this weekend to try to chip away at the MLW a bit. I had a little brain-think about how I don't like when sought after G4 are customized, went in to check if the bait page has G3, it didn't... it does now. I think there's enough muttering about G3 that I can fill it in more wholly overtime, and I've got good experience with G4 from selling and just collecting for nearly their entire lifespan. But G2...I'd hate to leave the page without a G2 section. I'm in the USA, so any G2 I find is like, gold. Any G2 I find in the wild that's originally from overseas is platinum gold...I don't want to give it just a blanket "All G2 are uncustomizable or you're a weenie!" because I'm sure there's buckets of Sky Skimmers, Ivys (Ivies?), and whoever else in Europe. So I'm curious...for you G2-collectors or folks from where G2 was more widely distributed, who would you consider to be rare or hard to find?

I'm just curious if anyone has done so successfully. I have a Sew and So with a gnaw out of her hoof which I could fix and paint over, but she is pearly...I'm curious if I'd be able to replicate it. Also just for customs purposes in general.

I don't think too many others are interested, but I thought I'd start a thread anyway. I thought it was very cute, about on par with most other cartoons on today which makes sense as to why I like it. I do feel like it's similar in vibe to Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own, but I wish future episodes wouldn't be just five minutes long! Princess Probz was pretty cute! It was still a bit more sincere than I had expected for how Wild and Smug the trailers made the show seem. I think this one was a bit more meta than The Best of the Worst, like this was a pilot or an experimental episode. The potions seem like a fun way to get some neat sequences in, too, so I'm certainly excited for those. Also interesting idea to throw in a season-long thread! The Best of the Worst was rather amusing, I loved Twilight's "Perfect Randomness!" bit. I think Twilight's character is coming off as a bit less put-together and more nerdy, which I like. Dishwater's design is gross but it accomplishes its task, and I don't think he'll be coming up much in the future. The baby pony doesn't strike me as having a cute design, though, which usually baby ponies are meant to do? I love the stylization but the baby pony design just doesn't seem to fit in quite as much.

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI've wanted to make some Cutie Mark Crew customs for a while but never had any normal enough doubles that I felt alright with painting. Five Below had some of the series 1 five-packs though, so I picked up some of the seaponies and painted them. Painting such small ponies was hard, and I misplaced my tiniest brushes so it was more challenging than usual on the details. I went with just the *essence* of their symbols since even in pictures, they wouldn't be too close to the camera. I think it was good practice though, so I'm glad I did it anyway. I still have a Twilight Sparkle seapony left, but I wanted to wait for two more non-horned ponies to come my way to make Sand Digger and Shoreline. Also, she came with a sand castle which would be perfect for Sand Digger! I'll have to think of someone else to paint her...

I do hate customizing G4 if I can still fix up and sell them, so I'm putting out my feelers to see if anyone here has any that are laying around that are not in display condition. I want really marked up ones, not just pen marks on the bottom of their hooves. Species does not matter, I would prefer the pre-movie brushables if possible. I'm willing to pay for shipping but not international shipping for them.

I do love to repair any G4 I thrift, even common releases, but I found a Twilight Sparkle with a nasty sharpie stain on the front of her neck. I decided to take a try at doing a full body repaint, I'm pretty pleased with the results! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginHer coat was cheap acrylics from Michaels. I did about three coats of white first to soften the purple. Her body was handpainted except for the red to orange gradient, which was done with a makeup sponge. Her hair is four shades of high temperature nylon from TheDollPlanet (Jaded, Yellow Submarine, Starfire, Nanaki). She took about a week and a few days to complete, she was a lot of fun to make! I'd love to make a nautical themed pony next, but I'd rather not use up perfectly displayable G4.
