I mostly collect G4 ponies, but I've recently fallen in love with a certain G1 pony... So look at who was waiting for me in the mail today. visitors can't see pics , please register or login  I'll admit, I haven't wanted her for very long, but that's because I never knew about her! I was browsing the forums sometime last week and someone had posted about having her. It was love at first sight! My OC pony (the yellow pony in my avatar) even looks like she could be her sister and AH! She's so perfect! I'm going to clean her up and fix her mane and tail before I get more pictures. I'm just so excited to have her! I have my fiance to thank, since he's the one who bought her for me. I saw her listed on Etsy and planned on waiting until my next paycheck (unless someone snatched her up first) but my fiance purchased her and has made me one very happy girl.  Yes, I have a different thread for my G4 brags, but I think this beautiful pony deserves her own special thread!

Forgive me if this topic isn't in the right area. Feel free to place it in its appropriate forum, mods! I also apologize if this a repeat topic. I haven't seen it though, so I figured this was okay. So my fiance recently purchased a very special G1 pony for me. She'll be my very first pony that isn't G4! I'll brag about it once I get her, but for now I'll just stay quiet.  edit: I can now say that my first G1 pony is Night Glider! I love her so much! That purchase got me to thinking about my collection and how much it has grown in the past two years since I've started collecting, and then I tried to remember the first pony I bought. I honestly can't remember for sure, but I believe it was Ride-Along Rainbow Dash. Anyway! I'd love to know which pony was the first pony you ever owned, whether it be one you bought or one you were given as a child, just the first one you remember ever owning. Extra cool points if you post pictures. I wanna see 'em!

I'm willing to buy from international sellers! Especially those hard to find ponies that can't be found here in the United States. All ponies are wanted loose, unless stated otherwise. I am, however, willing to buy MIB and MOC G3s and G4s since they tend to go on the cheaper side anyway. Hello there!
Moonbeam Star is the name of my first and only pony OC, who happens to be an alien pony. She's actually my avatar on here! So that's where I got the username from.
Hmm, let's see...
I'm 23 years old and I'm from Pennsylvania, but I currently reside in West Virginia (going to be moving back to PA in August actually). I'm a college student studying psychology and, well, I love ponies. I wasn't into My Little Pony growing up, since I was a bit of a tomboy and "girly" things weren't my style, which is what I viewed MLP as. Thankfully I'm a bit more open-minded these days, and when my friend suggested I watch Friendship is Magic, I gave it a chance.
This was about 2 and a half years ago, before I knew what Bronies and Pegasisters were, before I knew how crazy big this fanbase was, and before I knew anything about what was in store for me.
When the blind bag figures first hit stores, I began buying them. This is when I started accidentally becoming a collector. It's been about a year and a half now and I can say that I own just about every piece of merchandise that I'm able to get my hands on, including some of the more rare things out there. Figures, toys, trading cards, comics... if it has pony on it, I most likely have it.
My favorite pony from the show is Rainbow Dash due to how well I can identify with her. I do love all of the ponies, but RD has just always stuck out to me because I can sympathize with her, and when she says and does certain things, I can completely understand why.
All of that being said, I do hold a certain respect for the older generation of MLP because without them, there would be no Friendship is Magic. So despite my feelings towards the franchise when I was younger, I can now fully appreciate and be thankful for what came before FiM.
Outside of the internet, I have plenty of friends and family who enjoy the show and that I can talk to about various things concerning the show, and that even includes my wonderful fiance and my best friend. I've been on other pony forums before, but I spotted this one a few months ago and finally decided to join. I hope to make many new friends this way!
