I was at Build-a-Bear this past night to use my birthday coupon on the Halloween bat plushie and I saw both Zecora and Shining Armor! I didn't have enough money to get either of them right then, but I hope they'll be around long enough that I'll have the chance to pick them both up!

So I finally got Octavia (Amazon didn't screw up like they did the last time I got a doll from them!) and now I want to get the DJ Pon-3 Pony to go with my Pony Octavia. I love the fanon (now canon) concept of them being friends.  Looking on eBay, the cheapest loose DJ Pon-3 from the Fan Favorites set is $10 and she ships from Hong Kong! Gah. Is $10 the cheapest price I can expect to find anywhere for her in NM condition?

So let's say you want a specific Pony item really bad. Your birthday's in a month and you planned to go on a shopping spree then and get her. But then you start worrying that with so many merchandising problems and things selling out and not coming back in stock for weeks, you'd better get her when you see her, so you do. But since she was originally meant to be a birthday present to yourself, do you de-box her immediately or do you decide you will try to have the willpower to wait and not do it until your birthday? Would you feel like you were cheating yourself if you de-boxed before your birthday? Or would you feel like since you had her in your possession, you just wanted to start displaying her/playing with her immediately and not wait a month? I know some people don't de-box at all, but for the purposes of this question let's say that de-boxing is definitely going to happen; it's just a question of when.

So I was looking at the estimated delivery times for the different levels of Hasbrotoyshop's shipping. I'm assuming that when they run free shipping deals, they use Standard shipping? It said that Standard shipping wouldn't be delivered until around the 19th-24th. Has anyone bought something from their free shipping deals who can weigh in? I'm wondering if it's really worth the cheaper price and free shipping if it takes practically the whole month to get here. Amazon does free shipping in a week!

So my Wal-Mart is just getting around to having the 5-inch Lyra and Scootaloo plushies. I know there's a 10-inch of Scootaloo floating around in the wave with Sunset Shimmer that I'm still waiting for, but do they have any plans to make a 10-inch Lyra? It seems strange if they're never going to, considering what a popular background character she is. I didn't really want to get any of the 5 inch size plushies, but if some of the characters are only going to be in that size, I won't have any choice since I want one of every character!

So at least some Wal-Marts have lowered the price on the Rockin' Hairstyle dolls even more: to $9! It's sooo tempting to get Twilight. But I'm wondering: can that wacky collar be removed? It looks like something out of a circus, LOL. I know Trixie's purple collar from the first release comes off, so I wondered if it was possible that this Twilight's does too.

I saw a bunch of the Apple Family Blind Bag-size playsets at Wal-Mart on Monday! The barn/farmhouse one looked pretty fun, but I was annoyed there was no way to see what the interior was like. Does anyone have this playset, complete with pictures?

So there's several great Pony databases out there. But is there one yet for all the Equestria Girls dolls? There's so many different ones by now, it seems like a database would be a really good idea.

I don't know if this is just online or if it's the physical stores too, but I was looking up what K-Mart lists online, and they have both the stamper dolls and the first deluxe Rarity all for $5 each! And the Sonata/Aria set is $9!
There may be Pony deals too; I didn't check that since I'm not looking for any Ponies at the moment (aside from the Sunset Shimmer plush). When I was in K-Mart last month, I remember they were clearancing the Fluttershy Fashion Style with the new wing and eye style.

Hey, does anyone know how much the U.S. shipping costs for Equestria Girls dolls are? I'm still trying to get Octavia, and a member has very kindly offered to get one for me, but I'd like to know how much the shipping would actually be, since I know it can climb sky high. I know a lot of members get merchandise for other members who can't find it, so I'm hoping someone knows the exact shipping cost of a doll of that weight, in the original box.

So part of me is thinking I should really try to get that Aria Blaze/Sonata Dusk two-pack while it's on half-off clearance at K-Mart (if they still have any). $15 for two dolls is a pretty sweet deal.
But I feel bad to think of getting them if I can't ever procure the Adagio doll too. I like to have all members of a group, when possible. Did she ever become easier to find? It seems like she was around for a tiny blip in some parts of the States and then vanished again. I believe I may have seen her ... once? Twice? And then no more.

So I finally got hold of the second release Sunset Shimmer doll, the one with the more correct, streaked hair instead of the two-toned hair of the one in the two-pack. I was not expecting the massive amounts of hair gel on her bangs/fringe. It got all over my hands and kept dropping out of her hair onto the laptop. I had to get something to wipe it and us both down.
How do you deal with the hair gel? Is there any way to fully get it out?

So, who is your absolute favorite (or three) of Build-a-Bear's Pony plush line?
For me, it's hard to choose between Twilight Sparkle, Trixie, and Luna. Nothing comes close to topping the thrill and excitement of getting my very first BAB, Twilight Sparkle. She's my favorite character too, so that helped. She's gorgeous and she's one of the few that got released with more hair than later ones.
Trixie has always been probably my absolute favorite, aesthetically speaking. (Personality-wise, I find her about the most shallow character of all, especially now that we have Sunset Shimmer to compare her with. I love most of the other characters more than Trixie, personality speaking.) I'm just in love with Trixie's blue and white color scheme and I have several pieces of Trixie merchandise because of that.
And Luna ... oh my goodness. A midnight blue Pony! She's certainly unique among all the generations for that. And that beautiful hair, streaked with sapphire blue.... I also love her more streamlined appearance.
I would probably pick Luna when it comes to just picking one. But then I also love Twilight and Trixie for the happy memories of the outings when I got them.
