I was in the mood to make a custom since I havent made any this summer and I had this already prepped G4 applejack and I had ordered some firebird hair. It resulted in that I made a G4 Hip Holly! I always wanted a hip holly but have yet to get my hands on one so this will do till I do get one^^ Sorry I cant upload more pics but Im a bit in a rush right now. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I was on my usual round to the flea market, and had pretty good luck! I found a G2 Prince Clover and G2 Golden Glow, they are slightly worn but they have no worse problems than pale symbols and lost eye stones. If nobody is interested in them, they can work as baits. But the best find of the day was probably these two: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt is still hard to believe I managed to find TWO Ribbons and Hearts which are both completely MIP! So terribly cute too! They cost only 1 dollar each too! I almost feel bad that I did not tell the lady who sold them that they can be sold for over 10 dollar each...

Ok, I'd probably need some advice ...
A friend of mine bought some baits to me over the net, the photo was not very big and there were several ponies in each photo as it was difficult to see certain details well. We chose a few baits and bought them, and among them was a Gusty.
A few days ago we got baits so we could look at them and when I saw Gusty, I was shocked ... she had green eyes! Gusty normally have blue eyes. I recently read about different Gustys because I got one in a lot I bought so I knew immediately that it probably was a UK or a Scandinavian Gusty, I had problems, however, to identify her further when her body is covered in poorly painted white color so her symbols are gone. The seller said that she thought the symbol was glittery .... that would mean Gusty was Scandinavian.
When I get time I'll remove the white sticky paint and see if she has type cancer or something ... But I do not know what to do with her since ... both symbols and the hair is gone, only the eyes remain so even if I restore her not much going to be very original anymore ...
What do you think? I will restore her? half restore her and half customize her to a reversal Gusty? customize her fully?

Don't you just loooove it when a pony gets new life from just a change of hair and some TLC? To see them go from a mohawk or an affro to a shiny pony tail, it's like magic^^ Here are some of my "rehair" restores, if thats what you could call them. Here is baby Cotton Candy, she was rehaired with Apricot, a sweet color which looks pinkish and blond depending on the light...atleast Apricot can look blondish on Baby Cotton Candy thanks to the color of her body. Her original hair was faded white and quite messy. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis Wigwam was sold to me as a bait, can you believe that? He surprised me quite a bit when I got him, the seller stated that he was a bait but the only flaws I could find on him was his hair, which was cut quite a bit on the tail and the first plugs in his mane, and some small scratches...I cant quite say that that qualifies it as a bait when its a big brother, cant really qualify it as a bait on a normal pony anyway. Quite nice to pay for a bait and then get an ok condition pony though  He is haired with Virgin Snow and Black Magic. I chose Black Magic to get him closer to his origin, the indians, or Native Americans as they prefer to be called^^ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Yoyo here isnt rerooted, her hair is dyed with liquid Rit Dye Fushia as a test. Her hair was faded to white and quite sad looking so I thought I would use her as a labrat to see if i could get a nice pink shade on her hair and I have to say I do like how she became so much livelier with the pink color. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWhile Baby Yoyo was a pretty good success, I suppose I failed a bit with KissCurl...She too had her hair dyed with Rit Dye Fushia. I didnt expect the dye to take so well on KissCurl and she became a tad more pink haired than I had expected...while she was still wet her hair looked like it was a gorgeous shade of Cherry Pink, (I actually liked it though it was a mistake) but it have gotten a bit lighter now that the hair have dried. Its still far from my initial expectation but I quite like it anyway.^^ visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I have this idea of making a set of seven Arch Angel ponies but I need ideas for symbols and so on and I need to get wings (hardest part since I am bad at sculpting) and a whole bunch of inspiration so I hope ya guys could show me some angel customs.

Have any body heard of Retro dolls.com? I suppose not many know off it... Thanks to that dolly hair stopped taking paypal payments and My little customs being a bit more expensive I decided to look for another doll hair selling website and remembered this one that I came across last summer. I found that the prices are half as much as My little customs and I decided to order a few hanks to try it out. I put in my order on monday, it was shipped on tuesday and I got it today. I did find that they had accidentally given me Tinsel Town Frost (white hair mixed with tinsel) instead of Frostbite (a white) and given me an extra bag of Paradise (pink) which was oddly labeled as Pink Frost, another hank which I had ordered as well. I contacted the owner about this and she appologized for the misshap, told me I could keep the hair and that she would send a new bag of Frostbite to me. She seemed really nice. The hair was packaged a bit messily, a few hair stack out of the bags.. not really a problem, just a bit of a differance from Dolly Hair who had very neatly packed hair. Some of the nylon hanks was cut in half and felt like RestoreDoll, this was due to that she had a change of manufacturer and put these on sale with the same price as the other nylon. There is little to no way of knowing which hair is like the Restore doll hair currently but I told her that it could be a good idea to put a sign or something which would indicate which type it is. For now I can only tell you which hanks I got which was like the Restore doll hair. Think Pink, Oceana and Aniseed. They have a lot of different type of hair, Saran, Nylon, Kanekalon and Acetete and a lot of different colors. So, all in all, I do think I can recomend Retro dolls. It was a pleasant experience even with the little mixup, and I do think they be about as good as dolly hair once they get a better register of MLP hair matches. Tomorrow I will be checking if any of the colors I bought matches the ponies hair, I will then post the results here!

I was sick last week so I had a bunch of free time so I decided that I could do something useful and customize some fakies that I could sell. These two started out as some diaper clad baby ponies and since diapers arent really that attractive I decided to convert them into 80s gymnastics ponies! yay^^ So here you have 80s foal Cheerilee (the one with pink hair) and Lemona! Hi! Last summer my mom was hunting some ponies for me on a yard sale and brought home a haul of a pony and a load of fakies, ammong the fakeys I found two that I did not recognize. I had quite a few fakies as a child but I am not a fakie collector so my knowledge of fakies are mostly just good enought to separate MLP from Fakies. All my research about them have been fruitless so I finally thought I would ask here is somepony could help me IDing them. It would be nice to know what they are and if they are rare before I decide if I should custom them. They have nothing written on hooves or on the tummy or anywhere. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
