This gal was made as a raffle prize from the epic raffle to raise money for blood cord banking to help Tiella's son, Reed. She's gone to live with Disturbed-rainbow ^_^ She's the first pony I painted with my airbrush, and man is that thing fun! The orange in her hair was hand blended to get the closest match to the shade of orange paint I used for her gradient. Her jack-o-lantern and vines are sculpted and her eyes have a hint of glitter. Lately I've been really enjoying making necklaces, keychains, magnets etc embedding images in resin. Nothing too crazy, but addictive. It did take me a little while to perfect my method with the artwork I wanted to use and it ends up being pretty labor intensive, but worth it for the clean final product. Anyway, I made a ton of these leading up to the fair. Phew! This girl has been a long time coming, and the wonderful AssassinKitty (who is this pony's new owner) has been exceedingly patient and wonderful while I worked my way through this pony and grad school. The usual nonsense on this girl, sculpted with apoxie, painted with acrylics. The stunning gradient hair was dyed by Colorscapesart, who totally came to my rescue with that. My favorite part of this pony is her hair pins, which were made with resin and look like little wrapped hard candies. Here are a couple of customs I've finished recently! First is Cookie Treat. She was a quick project to combat stress. She features a sculpted doily with a cute sugar cookie on top, including icing and sprinkles! It took me a while to decide what to do with her, but in the end she told me she wanted to be a fairy pony. This gal was actually supposed to be an extra for the stork swap for my partner, CSA, but it took me a lot longer than anticipated to get her painted because it took so many layers, dear god the layers to cover the blue. A while back CSA made some ponies mixing blue with fire colors and they were beautiful, so I thought I'd make her something along the same lines. A photography challenge is posted. The poster may or may not post an example photo. 2. Participants are given seven days to submit their best photo. They must PM a single photo to the poster of the challenge before the deadline. 3. At the conclusion of the seven days, the poster will anonymously post all the entries in a public poll. The public will be allowed four days to discuss the entries and vote. 4. At the conclusion of the four days, the participant with the most amount of votes will be determined the winner. I knew right away from Steff's list what kind of pony I wanted to make her. Lots of pink, a little sexy and sassy, with some cherry blossoms since they're her favorite. My Partner for the Stork Swap was CSA. One of the couples she listed was G3 Applejack and Autumn Crisp. This girl was made as a gift for our lovely Tiella as a thank you for being awesome It's my interpretation of her persona. I've been calling her Foxy Love, for obvious reasons. The bait was airbrushed by CSA and the white socks and muzzle reminded me of a fox, so it seemed fitting. The little plushie fox is apoxie sculpt. Hair is nylon, accented with some crystals. Okay, I have been wanting to post about this for the past couple of days but it's all been a "maybe" until a few minutes ago. I am diving head first into resin, because why not? For a while I thought I'd look for something cheap just to see how I liked it, but ever since I first started contemplating getting a BJD, there has been one brand and type of doll that has always been a secret grail. The Soom teenie gem Centaurs. So for the past few months as I've been browsing DoA there's been one I had my eye on, and a couple of days ago I said screw dipping my toes in the water, let's go for it! So I'm insanely excited to say that my first resin BJD will be my grail! Soom Aloa  (Sorry I know this post is of no substance but I needed to brag somewhere where other people would get excited with/for me  )

I've been perusing pictures and am a bit overwhelemed by all the skin tone options! While we're at it, feel free to show me any tiny size dolls, preferably with wigs. I'm trying to vidualize what I might want to do
