For the past month and a half or so I've been trying to find Starbeam II & Sweetsong III. These are the discount store versions of these two ponies. They are the last two ponies on my current wishlist, and I never see them pop up on Ebay or in the Sales Forum here. Are they uncommon or am I just having bad luck?

I collect G3 ponies that are in mint condition but aren't boxed. I have two ponies on my wishlist that I've been trying to find in that condition, but can only find them MIB. Should I buy them and debox them or continue to hold out for ones that are already freed from their packages? The value of the ponies MIB is about $30-$35 each.

I'm working on my wishlist and am debating whether to add Jolly Lolly or not because of her similarities to Mittens II. Could someone snap a side by side pic of these two girls loose so I can see how similar they are?

I've been on this forum since 2009 but haven't been active for 5 years until a month or so ago, so I thought I should do a new intro.

My name is Jeff. I'm 30 and live in upstate NY. I've liked always helping others and let that passion guide me to earning my bachelor's degree in social work. I've also been an avid animal lover my whole life. I'm fortunate to be working for an animal shelter where I can apply the skills and values of social work with the opportunity to give a voice to what I consider to be the most oppressed population.

As you can probably guess I have a number of pets including a German Shepherd that I got from work (Iris-whose photo is my icon), 4 elderly cats (Rocky, Rusty, Carly and Faith) a young female cat (Munchie), and a recently adopted unnamed mother cat w/ 3 kittens.

I've been an MLP fan since I was about 4 when I'd watch the orginal cartoons before preschool. I don't remember which pony was my first. I think it was either Majesty, Baby Cotton Candy, Peachy, or So Softy Lofty.

So that's a little about me! 

At the end of the VHS version of Rescue from Midnight Castle, there's an advertisement for a future (future at the time anyway) My Little Pony cartoon centered around the rainbow ponies. Does anyone know why that cartoon was never produced? It's a mystery that has bugged me since I rented Rescue from Midnight Castle back in the 90's.
