Just like the subject says, which playset has the smaller footprint? The Dream Castle or the 3-tiered G3 Celebration Castle? I'm kind of scoping out Christmas gift ideas but my DD has VERY little play space in her room, so I want to be sure I am giving her something that we won't be tripping over or breaking pieces...

So I had a yard sale last weekend, made some money, have more space in my shed, woo hoo! I had a LOT of pony stuff at this yard sale, too. I had like 6 bags of G4 (put 10 G4s in a bag for $5), a huge bag of G1 "bait" ponies, a bunch of MIB G4 playsets, all my Hasbro G1 Softies for $2 each, and a bunch of G4 plushies, including Muffin Pony, and... I only sold ONE Hasbro Softie! ONE MLP thing during the whole yard sale... So I dunno... clearly it is time for MLP G4 to die off so that the next generation can get excited about it when it's new again. Nobody even looked at the G4 bags! I'm just so confused. I spent years going to yard sales and asking people if they had MLP, and then I have a yard sale FULL of pony, and nobody wants any of them????

I know this is a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar stretch and cry for help, but! Does anyone know of a website where I could possibly ID these MK&A dolls I bought today at the thrift store? I have scoured Pintrest and Google but wow... it is a pretty broad search out on the Internet! I know they made SO MANY different ones, but I *think* these girls might be wearing their original outfits? My plans are to start recreating some of their iconic fashion pieces and designs. I love their style but I will never be able to afford it. Miniature DIY versions are the closest I am getting!

You know those days where you find a bag of MLP and you wish you could stick the bag under your shirt for safekeeping but can't, lest you be accused of stealing? Ya... had a day like that on Wednesday.... PERFECT SS FLOCKING Cupcake for $1.99 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThat yellowish spot in the centre is NOT a deflock spot ; it is a faint glue spot instead. It does look odd on camera though doesn't it... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe was trapped behind a MIB Dollar Store fakie in a bag! There isn't even flocking missing on her ears or her hooves. Her hair is definitely wonky though as if it was in storage for a really long time... I guess I should go into that thrift shop again soon and see if more MLP treasure has come out of the back room!

This week has been full of awesome secondhand surprises but here are the most relevant : ponies and a doll! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginspunky the camel! and SLH Rainbow Flash and Baby Bellaluna i left a G1 gusty for someone else to find warning, dolly nudity! And here we have a Jem doll and a great condition book - one of my favorite poetry books with my all-time favorite illustrator! There are other things but I have to get them out of their hiding places when DD isn't looking. A Unicorn Surprise with triplets! and a vintage Care Bear Baby Hugs! updates: Here is Baby Hugs - she has nearly immaculate tush tags too! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd also the item that made me jump, squeal and nearly tackle the whole rack this t-shirt was on: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDie Antwoord came to my city on my birthday weekend last year. Despite family members saying, "Oh we are in town, we could watch DD for you ; what would you like to do for your birthday?" when it ACTUALLY came out that I didn't want to go to a fancy restaurant or anything they approved of, they magically were unavailable. And so I did not get to go to the show. Also there was some emotional drama as I had intended to go to the concert with some co-workers, who would be by that Wednesday my former co-workers, which ruined my plans for not being vulnerable and alone at a rap concert! Good thing I hadn't bought tickets... But COOL! The likelihood of finding this shirt at a thrift store was pretty small...

You know when you just can't find the pony/ponies you KNOW you have? That you were certain that they were on that shelf but when you go to look, they are NOT there?!
Today that would be my Greeks: Minty, Peachy and Cotton Candy
I wonder where they have got themselves off to... *sigh* Silly ponies taking emergency holidays ...

Now I know this is a bit of a stretch... but I am soooooooooo close to finishing my sticker book!!! Even if we just trade scans of the stickers, I am satisfied with that because I want this thing COMPLETE!!!! I am talking about THIS album (there is a second Panini sticker album for G1 but it was primarily sold in Italy and it was NOT for the Movie!): visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI was allowed to pick this out of the treasure chest reward box that my Grade 1 teacher had... I don't remember exactly but I forewent all the junky plastic teeth and the rubber balls and whatever and saved up my "reward stickers" for this MLP sticker book. Years of sending in the "mail in offer" in the back for more stickers filled in some of the holes, but eventually the company had to send me a letter telling me they had run out themselves. Last time I did this, they sent me a huge stack of Winnie the Pooh stickers to make up for the fact that they had even scanned and photocopied the few MLP stickers left, but they did NOT have the last few to complete my album. Soooooooo... I ask the collecting community for help!
