Pony Corral / Pony stuff and Walmart's black friday sale~

Please forgive if everyone knows already but I didn't see a topic for it~

I was just at the start of Walmart's black Friday sale and they had pony stuff! There were adorable fleece PJ  bottoms with G1 Cupcake in women's sizes for $6 and big bonus packs of ponies for $15- the set  is two of the story sets- the one with the cutiemark crusaders and Cheeilee and the one with brush able pink Celestia, twilight and spike.

Better hurry if you want one though- they started out with loads but by the time I left they only had 4 of the pony packs left and very few PJs!

So I have a pile of Nirvana ponies that I'm making customs of and as I don't own them I need help finding out what hair colors are the closest matches.

Brazil Love Melody (purple body, pink hair, walking pose)   -Pussycat? Tea Rose?

Customs / When your bait turns out to not be bait delima...

I recently finally found a sitting pose bait (bubbles) I've been looking for one for a long time so I could make a custom of Greek Ladybird for my collection. Although she looked awful in the photos she's cleaned up surprisingly good... So now I'm stuck- I want my Ladybird but shes just to nice to bait :/

What baits have you had that just turned out to nice the use? and what did you do about it?

I'm thinking of trying to trade this girl off for another uncommon bait pose...

Ok so me and KaibaGirl007 have been swapping boxes back and forth for a while now and I just had to brag about the latest box~ We stared swapping a while ago so she could get US exclusive ponies and I could get some international G4's and Doctor Who goodies~

So she sent this one in a few different boxes and two of the three arrived this last week~

The Dollhouse / Help me Id some Barbies? 80-90's

So someone I work with picked these up and wants me to ID them but I can't find a good sight for 80's and 90's Barbie- I've already done about 30 of them and these ones I'm stuck on  :stressed: Most of the ones I've found so far were not in the right outfits so letting me know where the outfits are form that would help a lot as well! Or links to any useful IDing sights.

Trader & Shipping Support / ebay *shakes fist*

Evil bay is at it again... this is more of a rant then anything but any advice would be much appreciated.

So once again I've been burned on ebay :/ I sold some keepers accessories on there- printed shipping and got tracking. The tracking says it was delivered and now the buyer is saying it didn't arrive- I polity asked them to make sure there Paypal/Ebay address's were right, that it hadn't been left with a family member/given to a neighbor on accident and that I would contact the post directly and give them a refund if none of those options found the package. So this person left me bad feedback- no communication back- no I didn't find it I'd like a refund, just instant bad feedback. Did I do something wrong?

At this point I messaged them again politely- letting them know I assumed from the feedback that the package was not found and had issued them a refund. On Monday I plan to take my info down to the post and see if they can find the missing package- but I've got no idea what to do beyond that. I've been selling on ebay for 2 years and this is my first bad feedback ever- Its also only the second package I've had that wasn't delivered without a hitch...

Ok rant over. sorry guys but I needed to vent it some place so I don't snap at my customer  :(

So I have another little issue. I auctioned off a lose Lily Blossom a while back, she ended on the 7th of September. about a week latter I still had no payment for her and un-payed item kicked in automatically. I messaged her twice and got absolutely no reply. I thought it was closed a week latter so I re-listed her- she sold and the new buyer payed right off and I shipped her out... but the original buyer just payed for her as well- I didn't think they could do that after the case was closed (I even got my final value back on her the first time) and Its almost a month latter! I am just intending to refund her and tell her sorry she needed to pay sooner. But I'm concerned about bad feedback... am I in the right hear? or should I just send her the lily form my collection- I really-really don't want to shes one of my favorite's and I probably cant afford a new one...

Customs / How to make Perfume Puff Hair with Yarn

So I have seen a lot of newer members wondering how this is done and thought I would re-post this to the new arena so it would be easier to find :)

I recommend Acrylic or acrylic blends for the softest yarns with a good poof and not as much fiber loss.
Pick a soft fluffy yarn, often labeled as 'bulky' you can simply buy the colors you want or get white yarn and dye it yourself- I dyed mine with rite dye by simply letting it soak in the dye till it was the designated color then dipped it into vinegar (to set the dye- water will just wash it all out) and let it cure in the sun.
Cut your yarn into 25" (63 1/2cm) peaces, it takes about 40-50 total for a G3 and around 80 for a G1. one normal sized thing of yarn should do 3-4 ponies. I used 20 strands for a G3 tail and 25 for a G1 (you may need to widen the tail hole a little)

I made this one because the one I had before was much to small for this job. The one I used was a large Tapestry needle and is a full 2" (5cm) long.
Note: because of the size of the needle needed, a pony with hard plastic may need to be heated up to soften the plastic before rehairing to avoid splitting plug holes. also when plug holes are very close together (as they are on most G3s) only put hair in every other one, otherwise you will split plugs- don't worry the hair will still be fluffy enough to fill in the space.

Customs / Tails needed

I need these tails for some restorations and am hoping someone on hear might have some of them from baits. I can do the work to get them looking good if they aren't already, just no rust stains or cuts please (unless they wont show on display). Doesn't have to be from the same pony as long as the colors match.

Trader & Shipping Support / Ebay item returned as not deliverable- help please?

So I originally picked up an extra of those large Pinkie Pie plush from Walmart thinking one of my over seas friends might want her, but latter found out she had already bought one form someone else. no big deal I just popped her up on ebay to get my money back. She sold fine and I broke even on the transaction shipped off as normal. the buyer would only pay for economy shipping so I did that. Well today I went to the post and and the box was returned as 'no such address' and 'unable to forward'.  I had to pay the return shipping on it of 5.45 this had never happened to me before so I searched around and it looks like the normal thing to do is- make sure the address is correct and ask for the buyer to pay for shipping again +the returned shipping from the failed attempt. or offer them a refund sans the shipping costs. I messaged the buyer with these options and she seems upset and will not agree to ether- I'm not good with dealing with upset people how should I respond to this? I don't think I should just have to eat the shipping costs and give her a full refund or try and send it again out of my pocket :/ hear are the messages we have had so far-

Is this correct? If it is incorrect I can fix it and re-ship her if you pay the return shipping and new shipping charge ($10.45).
Or I can refund you for her minus the original shipping and return shipping cost.
Please let me know what you would like to do. Hear are photos of the box and the receipt showing what I payed for return shipping as confirmation.

I'm really baffled as to why they would have returned her. I'm concerned about having her shipped to me again and paying for shipping all over because of it not working before despite a correct address. I'm not particularly interested in paying an extra $10.45 in shipping for an item that retails for $20, nor having to pay for all of the shipping so far despite not receiving the plush/item and having provided the appropriate address for shipment. Either a full refund of my purchase without penalty for shipping, or shipment of the plush without further incurred cost would be appropriate. "


....So who should cover the costs in this case?...
