Well then, been a while since I needed help on how to do something, however, it's a must xD

I have two baity Bunny Hops that came to me without their hat pockets. My question is how do you remove the hard plastic piece inside the pony that holds those pockets. It does occur to me most probably don't remove those pieces but for what i need to do that part needs to go.

Any suggestions?

So I was looking up something else when I found two Videos on the My Little Pony Explore Equestria Cutie Twisty-Do Brushables. For those interested in these, hopefully you get an idea on them.. The uploader has not found them in stores yet but she got them from Amazon

My initial thought just from watching and the fact the uploader has a child in the age range these are geared towards... Um.. I still foresee lost beads with the Pinkie considering the beads are really easy to pop out..

From a custom standpoint.. no idea how well those beads will be to removed

Ok so many of us know that in the G4 line most of the ponies don't dye well.. At least from the first waves... Rarity was one of these ponies.. It had something to do with her body plastic (I had dyed a G4 Pinkie from an older wave and while the dye took the head and body really didn't match well).

So since I found out about RIT Dye's line Dyemore for synthetics, I thought I would give it a shot and see if a G4 pony would take to this dye..

First of all the bait, she was a "quick lets find a white pony to dye!" type deal and I almost didn't find her on the shelf at Walmart, lol.

The dye I chose was Dyemore Kentucky Sky... which is a blue color. I had previously tested to see if it would work on Polyester ribbon, which it does for the most part.

Instructions on the dye say it works best at a temperature of 180° - 212° and that you need to stir your fabric in the dye bath for about 30mins (or till the color you want to achieved). So I got the water boiling (I don't have a temp thing to see what temp it was), added the dye and stirred (dye is in a liquid form already), added pony after giving her a quite bath. After the first minute or two I decided to add more dye because goofy me was worried that she wasn't going to dye with the amount I had in there

It took somewhere between 10 to 15 minutes before you could see that she was changing colors, I took her out of the bath after 23 minutes and here are the results:

She took the dye pretty well and looks like she took it evenly.. which leaves me to question: Did they change the plastic for the G4s or is Dyemore just a better choice for those ponies?

I don't have an extra first wave Rarity for bait, so I can't test that thought out.. However I did learn something...

The dye still doesn't like glue residue, and yes I didn't know there was something funky there till after I saw the color coming through in the dye bath

That's right, her tail didn't take the dye at all! Which leads me to think her tail is polypropylene which according to one of my doll hair sellers... will not take dye at all. Dyemore will even work on cheap holloween wigs... I did try it on a test piece and it surprised me, but this makes me wonder if all G4 tails are poly or if some are actually nylon.. or if this is just the case for the baggie ponies...

To be honest I will need to run a few more test on G4s.. mainly on the two questions that I need answered... If all G4 tails are poly and if the pony plastic has changed in 5-ish years?

Also now i have to figure out what to do with this girl

Hey guys! I need a bit of help deciding on hair for one of the Sunshine Ponies.

Recently my brother told me he found some of my stuff in dad's workshop (because it doubles as storage) and we went digging to see if we could locate one of the stuffed animals I had been looking for. We found the one but upon further digging I happen to find a G1 pony that I don't even remember owning

I was happy to see that other than Dancing Butterflies, Cranberry Muffins, Chuck-e-Cheeze Pony, and BBE Gusty that I had another G1! And she is Shoreline none the less!

She's in pretty decent shape but other than a bath I need to replace her hair.

Normally I would just buy a color to replace color changing or fading hair... however I would actually like to replace her stripe with the proper color.

So I know that My Little Customs sells UV hair, however, it's white to another color and Sunshine Ponies have a non-white stripe that changes to another color.

Does anyone have a suggestion for UV hair for Shoreline?

I found a fakie in a lot of ponies that is up for bid and i just want to know what it might be just in case I don't get this one and want to hunt down another. I'm thinking she is a Lanard.

So make a run to Walmart today hoping to find a new box of Puppy in My Pocket.. No new box sad to say, though they had 4 boxes of the CareBears.. which I didn't bother with because after getting 3 of the same ones I said "nope".. I assumed they were all series 1 anyway..

However, on the aisle were some of the girl lego items were... I saw a peg of the CB blind bags again. I thought "Ok they must be way over stocked on those things." I looked anyway and the front of the bag looked like the Series 1, but when I turned it over I saw that the bears looked to be semi-translucent and glittery o.o

Turns out the ten are series 2 and I managed to get 9 of them (I was only going to get 3 but changed my mind). I got 9 because there were only about 12 bags there and 3 of them were doubles. These bags actually had numbers on them..

So I thought I'd share, I wasn't sure if anyone started a post on these things but if anyone wants a specific character..

The numbers can be found at the bottom of the bag below the box for the 1-800 number

#0110 = Cheer Bear
#0111 = Grumpy Bear (this was the only number I didn't get)
#0112 = Goodluck Bear
#0113 = Wish Bear

#0117 = Love-a-Lot Bear
#0118 = Sweet Dreams Bear

And after opening I realized that the bears are listed on the back in the exact order as the numbers
