This isn't pony related but I wonder if you could give me some insight.
A little while ago on Tumblr an artist I follow was running a commission deal for sort of simple commissions at a low price as she was raising money to get to a Comic Con.
Now at first she seemed pretty eager to do my work and paid up and things were good and she was working quite quickly, and said mine would be done next after she finished a commission. Okay, good.
I haven't heard anything from her in a while. I dropped her a message today which I think went through. I don't really mind waiting as I know things happen and whatever I'm just not really liking the fact I haven't really heard anything, like not even a 'waiting' list of people.
She's posted some art as recent as the 5th, but she sort of went through a URL change, and her old url is her art blog, but these newer posts that look more detailed seem to just be reposts.
She posts, and posts a lot but never seems to do anything about art. But I think she has been going through some personal problems lately. I mean if she is basically blanking me out, so bed it. Because the commission was for such a low price it isn't really worth fighting for. I just sort of want to know what's happened.
Also she was following me on Tumblr but I noticed yesterday she doesn't seem to follow me anymore, I have no idea when she did that and for what reason.
But I don't intend to take that as a red flag because to be fair if someone unfollows me, they unfollow me but it's not helping, but if I did something she didn't like she hasn't said anything too me so I don't know. She's not blocked me as otherwise I wouldn't see her posts on my dashboard.

Okay, so my laptop has been in and out of a repair shop several times for a charging port problem. And this time around I'm thinking when I get my laptop back I'm just going to get a new one. Becuase I can't keep dealing with this and also as I'm going back into college I need a laptop.
I'm trying to find something with similar specs to my old one, it had 4gb memory, 500gb hard drive, about 15-16 inch screen and it was an Asus. It served me well enough for my general internet stuff, digital art (running photoshop, illustrator and sai) and running a few games.
On the site I'm potentially buying from however they don't have any Asus ones that are Windows 7 as ideally I don't want to have to switch to Windows 8. the Windows 7 ones they have available are of the following brands Acer, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, Samsung and Toshiba
Of course the other idea is to get a Windows 8 laptop if I have too and then downgrade it to 7.
What would people recommend? We had Lenovo laptops at my college, and they weren't very good but that may have been something the college did. My oldest brother has told me to avoid Acer...

I'm offically enrolled as a student now. Which means I am going back to college and also means I can finally get off jobseekers allowance yay!
My course is only two days a week but the lectures end at 7pm so I know that is going to knacker me for a while.

So, on my circle of Tumblr a few people have been downloading the trial for Eve online to make versions of their swtor characters with it and so I hopped on the bandwagon. And this has got to be the best character creators I have ever seen. I have never seen one that gives you this much control over your character, you can pretty much alter every aspect of the body and face and then when you go into the portrait making screen you can pretty much set it up however you want. And this is what I've done so far, I basically started making versions of some characters I don't play in the game but they're ones I made up as the kids of my characters. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFenri, she's the daughter of my bounty hunter, she's actually a hybrid between a human and a Chiss (alien speices in star wars) but of course in this she's a 'normal' human visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAruvu, he's the adopted son of my bounty hunter, he's originally a twilek, for some reason his human version in my mind was a redhead visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd Axi, she's the daughter of one of my Sith characters

I had a bit of an unfortunate incident today :/
I picked up a blindbag that had Barber Groomsby in it, and put it in my pocket. Got home, dug around in my pockets found the card for him but no pony. And unless he somehow ended up in my brother's backpack I don't think I'm finding him.

Today I went down the carboot and managed to get a really good deal, on a vintage Lady and a vintage Tramp soft toy. And well they're rather grimy so they need cleaning.
How should I go about this? My mum has told me to to basically put them in the bath with washing detergant and get them really scrubbed up. But I'm not so sure about properly soaking them, although they could do with a proper clean.
I know if they were more modern plush toys I could get away with throwing them in the washing machine. But these are ones from I think 60s/70s.

I'm asking here as I'm sure amongst all us collectors there's someone who can help me out here.
A corset website is doing a promotion at the moment and they have some gorgeous steampunk corsests I'm really tempted to get one as they are going as low as 27gbp when they're originally 100gbp plus so as you can guess that sounds a pretty good deal.
But I'm confused by sizing, because on the site it goes 'aim for one 4-5 inches smaller than your actual waist size' as the steampunk ones are properly boned as opposed to the fashion ones which apparently just go off the normal dress size
EDIT: I think I've worked this out but tips would be useful nontheless

So some people might remember a little while ago I opened up some request slots of me doing digital drawings
I am really sorry to say I haven't been able to start any. I had an issue with my laptop that needed fixing, it was fixed the problem came back so it went back to shop and then something else has gone wrong so it's in the shop.
So hopefully when I get it back I will be able to get onto these.\
I am so sorry for all this delay.

I think technology hates me.
My laptop had to go in for some repair work because of an issue with the charger port, and then the problem came back.
And I've just picked up my laptop again, taken it home. The charger problem seems to be fixed but now I have nothing but a white screen when I turn the laptop on.
I've tried googling for information but can't find much, I can't seem to get it to go into any start up modes yet I can seem to adjust screen brightness.
It's an ASUS K53E
