Yes, my third custom ever was a Pony Hovves Custom ^^ Bait was a Rainbow Dash brushable. I'm waiting for my second order of hair from Dollyhair, so since I didn't had any of the colors of hair at home for the customs I'm planning on doing, I made a Pony You can't have enough Pony Here she is: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe did turn out a bit too dark, but other from that I'm really happy with her. Do any of you have a favourite background pony in FiM ? Someone who doesn't have any special role (ex. Twist and Snails are not BG ponies).

I just started out trying to make customs of G4. I'm currently making my first two. One is a full repaint and the other is just eye and symbol repaint. They are both rehaired and I thought I should pull the plug back in to them. The Eye repaint went in after a bit of boiling and forcing, but my fully repaint didn't have much luck. First the plug really didn't want to get back into the head. Secondly, the paint cracked on a few places because of the head being squeeshed when I tried to force the plug back in AND all of her sealing pealed off! I don't really know what to do with her now. I could try blend together her color and paint over the cracks, but I'm still scared that more paint will crack when I'll try to force the plug back again. Any suggestions? Is there any other , easier way to get the plug back into the heads? Picture's of the cracks: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

So how do you guys feel about unboxing older ponies (mostly G1 and G2)? I know there is a thread about if you HAVE unboxed a G1 pony, but I wanted to know what you think about others unboxing older ponies.
I just recently purchased my childhood favourite pony MOC (G2) and I don't know if I should unbox her or let her be. I bought her MOC because she is one of the only ponies where I want the accessories included, I don't usually care for accessories. I really love my ponies loose so i can display them together, but I don't know if I should unbox my recently purchased beauty...

I'm doing a survey for our math class and I wanted mine to be about pony collecting. It would be nice if you want to fill it out 1. Your sex: 2. Your age: 3. How long have you been collecting ponies? 4. Which generations do you collect? 5. Which generation is your favourite? 6. How much money do you approximately spend on ponies each month? 7. How many ponies do you have? 8. What did your mot expensive pony cost you? 9. Which pony is your favourite? 10. Do you collect anything else except from ponies? If yes, what? Thank you so much if you want to be anonymous you can PM me instead

Any tips for what to do about shaky hands when painting small details on a pony like eyes or symbols? I have trouble drawing the eyelashes on my pony because of shaky hands, and if the pony is fully repainted it's not as easy to remove the stuff that turns out wrong

So I have just started making customs, just waiting for my hair to arrive xD My first ones will be my Ponysona Theatrice and the Blindbag Pony Sea Swirl into brushables I wonder, if they turn out good, if you would be interested to see more blindbags turned into brushables? And if so, which one would you like to see? picture's of the blindbags visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPost Merge: February 28, 2012, 01:46:50 PMPost Merge: February 28, 2012, 01:53:57 PMUpdated with a poll! I didn't include the ponies who will arrive in fall as brushables (Heartstrings, Flower Wishes, Lemon Hearts, Cherry Berry ) and Seaswirl since I'm already making her.

I searched but I couldn't find any thread like this
I want to know how everyone's favourites has changed
So Which pony was your favourite pony as a kid? Why?
And which pony is your favourite pony now? Why?
(please state gen if it's not G1)
My favourite pony as a kid was Twilight. I didn't have many pony toys but I had all episodes from the series on VHS and Twilight was definitely my favourite, close followed by Ribbon ^^
Now my favourite pony is Speedy. I don't really know why, since her color combo is quite odd, but that is probably the reason. I have a soft spot for orange and TE ponies.

I remember from my childhood that my most disliked pony then was Lickety-split. I always thought she was really annoying in the series ( baby Lickety Split)
Now, she's one of my favourite G1. I think the reason to why I like her so much now is because I remember her so well from my childhood. Most of my favourite ponies have some kind ch relation to my childhood.
Is it like this for many of you too?

I'm going to try to make my first Custom, and I want to do a G4 version of my Ponysona Theatrice. Dollyhair.com seems to be the best supplier for nylon hair, but I find the hair sample colors to be hard to see correct color. Some of them look perfect on their color sample , but when I google the pony they should be the perfect match for it's not the best color. Here's some picture's of Theatrice, I'm going to use Applejack as my base. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe yellow color I've found; LEMON DROPBut the two shades of purple I don't really know. If it helps I think that the purple color G4 Rainbow Flash has in her tail is perfect for Theatrice Darker Purple, and G4 Daisy dreams darker pinkish Purple for Theatrice's lighter purple.
