I knew from the start that I would be making a mask with horns in it and to keep the pony from being boring or easily broken I wanted to make the mask removable. It proved to be even more fun than I expected! I want to make another masked pony now.  After the mask was made out of Fimo I painted the pony with acrylics and signed, sealed with Army Painter Matt varnish, rehaired with colors I don't remember and styled the hair a bit. eta: Oh, the mask was given similar treatment but was also blushed a bit with pastels. I hope you like her and I am so glad Roogna liked her, I had a blast making her!

So, back in last year I started up a Doctor Who custom swap. My first partner wasn't able to complete their custom so I asked a few others if they were able to make one instead of them. Sanadaookami said they could do it and I sent her my swap information on April 26th and after that I haven't gotten any information from her even though I have asked a few times. So, does anyone know what's up with her? I can see she has visited the forum almost daily but never responds to my messages. I'm not angry, just tired of waiting as the swap should have been over some months ago.

Hi! I found myself with too much time in my hands and decided to ask here if anyone would be up for a private swap? I think I would be up for one or two private swaps, depending on the time frame chosen. I may want to do some swaps later, too. The themes I would be interested in are: Pokemon, Utena, Sailor Moon, alternative pose, alternative generation, baby to adult, Disney animation, carousel (not necessarily with a stand), grail, nirvana I may be interested in other themes too, so feel free to ask if I want to do something special!  I mostly have G1 and G3 adult baits, but I can get G4 adult brushable baits too. G1 and G3 babies may be possible to get, too, but I wouldn't count on it. Edited to add: Extras wouldn't be mandatory, but I have taken a liking to drawing again so there would be a drawing or two as an extra on my part edited to add again: not looking anymore!

This girl was a quick custom between packing and cleaning. She is named after a Finnish candy called Marianne, a candy that has a package that has red and white stripes and black writing. Her eyes are blue because there is a variation of the Marianne candy that has blue-white-black packaging. Her eyes and cheek symbol were painted with acrylics and sealed with Army Painter Matt Varnish, as was her cheek blush which is done with soft pastels. She was rooted with RetroDolls Jet nylon hair and the hair styled with black ribbons attached to sewing pins. Her dress is made of red cotton and white lace. Here are the rehaired ponies I did last month. She has some very persistent stains, I tried to remove them with magic eraser and nail polish remover and they did nothing. Here's the ponies I finished last night. I have now done three out of ten this month's ponies All ponies were painted with acrylics, sealed, signed and rehaired. Baby Gusty's rusty icky eyes were removed and filled with Apoxie and painted new. Baby Galaxy used to be a baby Cuddles with no symbols to speak of and rubbed eyes and a buzz cut and no tail. I painted her white, sealed with Army Painter Matt Varnish, blushed with pastels, sealed again, painted the blood and symbol and eyes and sealed again and then glossed her eyes with microgloss. After that I rehaired her. I wasn't able to give her a full luscious mane as the paint decided to start chipping but I guess a zombie can have a not so nice mane. It was a first time for me to make wings from Apoxie and I guess it shows  She was a fun pony to make and I think I will try to make wings from Apoxie again in near future.

lilacamy931 got her pony, so here she is: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginHer name means Purple Maiden in Finnish. lilacamy listed in her likes mythical creatures and Japanese style elegance and I immediately knew what I would make: a unicorn kimono pony. It turned out that I wasn't able to make the kimono pattern work out so I decided to make a simpler yukata instead. The yukata is completely hand sewn of Japanese cotton. She was completely blushed with good quality pastels the same way BJD's are blushed. This was the first time I made a pony like this and I have to say I liked it I blushed her with different purples and hot pink as those were lilacamy's favorite colors. After coating her with Army Painter Matt Varnish I painted her eyes with acrylics and coated them with gloss varnish with a touch of glitter as lilacamy said she liked glitter and metallic colors. I also added a little bit of glitter on some places of her face. Her hair is a mix of Pink Sugar, Heartthrob, Twilight, Mulberry Crush, Sour Grapes and Deadly Nightshade with a touch of Moonlight here and there. Her hair-do was the first proper hair-do I have done to a pony and I really hope it's secure. The little doll in the first picture is an extra I sent. She was supposed to have a yukata too, but some brain farts happened and the outfit's pattern has too many pieces to be a real yukata. I'm so happy lilacamy likes her new pony, I had really good time creating it ^^

The Baby G1 Yukara is made of a really baity Baby Lofty. Her eyes were filled with Apoxie Sculpt and I reshaped her bony cheeks at the same time. She was painted with acrylics, sealed with Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish, blushed with pastels, sealed again with Army Painter. I glossed her eyes and gave her a reroot (Dollyhair’s Pussycat). I wasn’t able to give her blue tipped hair because I didn’t find proper dye from anywhere near my city visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe main pony, called Kesäntoive (Summer’s Wish), was previously a baity BeePop. She was blushed with pastels and then painted with acrylics and sealed in between the layers with Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish. Her eyes and hibiscus flowers are sealed with a water-soluable gloss with some glitter in it. Her hair is Dollyhair (Heart Throb, Moonlight and Water Nixie).
