I'm just interested to see which princesses people prefer. I never liked the G1 Princesses, because their symbols remind me of hammered tin jewelry, which I hate. Other than that, the title "princess" does nothing for me. However, the G4 princess just happen to be what I always wished Hasbro would make when I was a kid--winged unicorns. So, what do you peeps think? Do present princesses slap the snot outta the previous princesses, or what?! Oh, here are some pics of my G2 and G4 princesses. I don't have any others. My third Pinkamina is on her way to my house, and I'm wondering how many other people are unwilling owners. The only time I ever bought her has been in packs, where you can't have what you want unless you're willing to take one in the pink. I thought maybe we could all get together, without shame, and discuss our pink abuse at the hands of Hasbro. LET THE HEALING BEGIN!
I never had a G3 or 3.5 PP, but with G4, it's like they're holding all the coolest characters hostage! "You can't have Nightmare Moon or White Celestia unless you take a Pinkie Pie off our hands!" Well good grief, Hasbro, if you are that desperate to unload her, why don't you just stop making so many of her?! My first Pie was part of an ebay lot. The funny thing is, I wouldn't mind owning one of her--only because she's so funny on the show. The only time I ever actually bought a PP was to get one for my niece when she was four and still thought she was the kind of person who loves pink.
But now, I just feel dirty--like no matter how hard I scrub, the pink won't come off my hands. And the worst part is, I'm afraid it's the best I deserve. Like I'm the kind of dirty person who deserves to be forced to by Pinkie after Pinkie. I just want somebody to love me, and tell me it's okay to not have any Pinky Pies!

I've got a Favorites Set RD, and I haven't cut her hair, but I'd much prefer a show accurate hairstyle (otherwise it doesn't really look like her). I wanna cut DJ Pon3's hair too. They just don't look right to me with long hair. So, what do you guys think? Are they gonna be worth tons later and I'll hate myself? I'm not really planning on selling them anyway... I did an experiment on Feather May. She's another whose short hair I was hating. Well, I've got regular size Shining Armor, and his hair is hopeless. I might cut his hair shorter. Other than that, I'm not sure how I could rehair him... Has anyone found a good style or solution for him, other than sculpting? Show me your Shining Armor hair styles and solutions! UPDATE: Okay, Rainbowjuice, you are an inspiration! The next morning, I pulled it up and cut it with scissors! I've gone from hating to loving him!

I've wanted a Swift Wind custom for forever. This is the first time I've ever painted before rehairing. I hate painting, as I'm incapable of doing a factory-looking job. And this painting took forever! Each color painted separately, each with two coats, it was awful. But I like him a lot. He's Rarity's head on Blossomforth's body. He's sealed with Modge Podge Puzzle glue (all I had), which is shinier than I wanted. And he's got tigerlilly dollyhair. I didn't give him a saddle, because he's for display, not for riding. Also, the wings just don't really leave any room for that, and I have no interest in sculpting. The other pony I have is Skydancer.
