It's really been a very long time since I've seen any G3 pose/mold fakies at the dollar store and I was very pleasantly delighted to see these lovely girls peeking out at me from the toy aisle. There were two different sets pink/purple and white/blue. I decided to get the white/blue because they reminded me of G1 color scheme for Sundance and Bowtie!

I haven't been on the Arena in a few months so I'm not sure if this was posted about yet but I just wanted to share my pony find with those that would actually find it interesting. The hair is rooted in the tails as per usual for Dollar Store fakies. I still think they are cute. The last time they had G3 mold fakies were the glitter/sparkle ones with stickers if I remember correctly and that was quite awhile ago. The last pony-like item I spied there was the G3.5 glitter fakies and even though I bought a few I really do love these much better. It's also a better value because you get two in a package.  They aren't standard G3 size though but much smaller. Almost like they are meant to be baby or little sister ponies. 

Be sure to check your local Dollar Trees if you want some of these cuties to add to your fakie collection. I'm always excited to find fakies that actually resemble the older genuine poines just for nostalgic value.

I just bought my plushie grail from 2007 off ebay (spent a pretty penny for shipping too ) and she was so worth it! I'm too excited right now to type much about it but I remember everyone going nuts over her when all your wonderful Aussie peeps told us about these wonderful 'mini giant' plush that resembled their much larger cousins. What did I get you say?! SDA get to the point already!!

If you weren't around on the Arena back in 2007ish you probably have no idea what I'm talking about and if you were and she isn't ringing any bells maybe it's because it's been almost 7 years (wow!) since I've finally been able to find her again. I'm so happy right now.   I almost don't care that I paid $45 USD to have her shipped over. Her initial cost was around $60 USD so a touch over $100 is a small price to me to finally have my long awaited Sweetie Belle in my collection at last.   Now I just hope she arrives by Christmas but since it's a gift from me to me I suppose it isn't the end of the world if she doesn't arrive before the holiday. As long as I'm ringing in the New Year with my plushie grail. YAYYYY

Even though I finally have her in my collection, once in awhile I still search ebay for listings for Mimic because you never know when you can find a great BIN or something and I just found this online and thought I would share.   Do a search for "Vintage Totsy Fantasy My Little Pony Mimic"  It's just a plain regular 'evil Totsy' unicorn but they but 'My Little Pony Mimic' in the title to get more views no doubt. Not very cool business practices and very misleading especially if someone was looking for a Mimic!

 That deserves a dozen or so fakies thrown at the seller LOL

I've stalked thrifts and second hand shops for the better part of a decade trying to find my cherished long lost G1 MLP Adventure Book I had as a child, all to no avail. Until I found this beauties on eBay!   The seller was local--- very close by-- literally minutes from my house so I just picked them up today.   What a wonderful late Christmas present from me to me!


I got a great deal from the seller too, since they accepted my best offer. I didn't pay the 'sticker price' So happy to have them back in my collection!!

Hey every pony! I know I haven't posted in Brags in AGES because I haven't really had any noteworthy pony luck lately but this time I had three finds I just had to share.


So thrift stores have been really sparse lately in the toy department but yard sales have been where it's at. No pics at present because I need a new camera but I found three G1s at two different yard sales. A Magic Message Pony for .5 cents at the first. And a Big Brother Barnacle and So Soft Hippity Hop for .25 cents each at the second!


Need to cleaning but the lovelies look like they will be spiffy once spruced up.
Hooray for the warmer weather and yard sales.

I've been wanting a Minty plushie forever and this little darling was waiting patiently in a second hand store to be given a new home.   At first examination, I almost passed her by because she was a bit dirty and several seams were coming loose and need to be restitched. Plus, she had no price marked. Sometimes they don't sell items if they aren't priced.   But I just couldn't leave her behind. A genuine My Little Pony plushie?! And the adorable lying variety that I'd never seen in person.


I'm guessing she was a carnival prize from years ago because the material is different from the crane machine pony plushies. So I brought her to the front and the lady behind the counter decided to give her to me for .29 cents!


She's a decent size plushie and oh so huggable! With a bit of TLC, I think she will be good as new again. I think Minty is very happy I decided to rescue her and take her home with me.
