Based on the popular Lisa Frank characters Rainbow Chaser the Appaloosa and her little sister, Lollipop. I started these six years ago and have finally found the time to finish up the lingering projects from all those years ago. Each is airbrushed and hand painted with craft acrylics, sealed with Testors Dullcote and Mod Podge Gloss, and rehaired with a blend of various Dollyhair nylon colors. Rainbow Chaser also sports her signature roses behind her ear. UPDATE: The SWPA Pony Meet will take place on July 29, 2017 in my backyard. If you are interested in attending, please join the Southwestern PA Pony Meet Facebook group or PM me for the address. If you are coming and intend to sell or trade, please bring your own table. I am rounding up chairs, but it's helpful if you are able to bring them. Please bring a wrapped gift less than $3 in value if you would like to participate in the gift grab game. Set up will be 9-10am. Buy/sell/trade and games 10am-4pm. Lunch will be at 12:30pm. Tear-down will be 4-5pm. We will possibly be going to a post-meet dinner at a TBD local restaurant. If anyone will still be in town on Sunday and would like to go to Living Treasures Animal Park (mini-zoo), Idlewild/Soak Zone (amusement/water park), or Caddie Shak (go-karts & mini golfing), we can see about doing that too. Lunch right now is looking like we'll order a pizza from Alexander's (menu is here: http://alexanderspizzasubs.com/download/i/mark_dl/u/2012099/12093254/Menu.pdf). Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions. So far, the rest of our menu is this. We still need tableware, some other flavors of chips/pretzels, and a few sides and desserts. Dropping in to say that I am indeed still alive, and have some exciting news.  Though this was definitely not the way I planned, John arrived five weeks early on April 16. I was very sick from preeclampsia, even though I never felt sick, so the doctor made the decision to deliver him via emergency c-section. He weighed just three pounds and was 15 inches long. Both he and I are alive and healthy, and that's all that matters. He's been staying at the hospital until he gains weight and can drink on his own all the time every time. So until he comes home, I'll probably be very scarce because I spend most of the day at the hospital. If I didn't have to come home and deal with the rest of the world, I'd sleep in the rocking chair beside his little plastic box. Anyway, here's a pic from today. EDIT 02/18/2013: ALL DOLLS HAVE BEEN LISTED ON EBAY!I'm listing a bunch of dolls I've been hanging onto to help fund my MLP Fair trip. In one week, all unsold dolls will move to eBay. NOTE: I do have a loose complete Skull Shores Gil, but I will ONLY TRADE him for a Pony Fair ticket package. Otherwise, I'm keeping him.- Items come from a smoke-free, pet-friendly (large dog, fat cat, iguana, & parakeet) home.
- I will not hold dolls for more than two days.

Abbey is my favorite MH ghoul, so I knew she was definitely a top contender when I looked at Miserati's list. She was not my first choice, but my original plans just didn't come together. Anyway, Miserati has received her and said that she likes her, so here is Abbey. I've been wanting to make a The Nightmare Before Christmas custom forever, and harvestmgirl's list gave me the perfect opportunity. Now that I know she's arrived safely, I can show her off. Made from a Toola Roola I. Painted with Apple Barrel acrylics. Sealed with Testors Dullcote (and Mod Podge gloss on the eyes). Rehaired with Retro Dolls US Glow-in-the-Dark polypropylene. At the 2009 (or maybe 2010) My Little Pony Fair, Hasbro displayed concept art for a never-produced set of ponies now known throughout the community as "Fairy Brights." It is rumored that their official name is Celestial Ponies. The amount of planning and work that went into these girls was insane. First I had to acquire four Flutter baits (thank you to Skeen and hannaliten). Then I had to "de-Flutter" them and almost chopped off my fingers several times in the process. I then filled in the holes left with wire mesh and Super Sculpey. THEN began a long period of research and much trial and error with the paint. I finally got it right the week we were set to leave for Florida. So I got to paint eyes and symbols and sculpt/bake their antennae before we left and had to rehair and install the antennae when we arrived in Orlando. And it so happened that I forgot my tinsel at home (I always forget at least one thing when we travel), so we set about finding a Jo Ann. *lol* I worked all day Friday on rehairing and painting and inserting antennae and finished that evening. Painted with Apple Barrel and Delta Ceramcoat acrylics. Antennae created with Super Sculpey and floral wire then painted with some off-brand neon acrylic paint. Sealed with Testors Dullcote over the FBRs and Delta Ceramcoat Matte over the eyes and symbols. Symbols and antennae then received a coat of glow-in-the-dark glitter. Rehaired with Dollyhair nylon and Sulky pearlescent "thread." So without further ado, here are the ponies I have named Zenith, Aurora, Nebula, and Nova. I was pretty excited that VJ put stars on her list because I love stars. I originally intended to go regular G4 but decided upon styling size in the end. She was a Twilight Sparkle, painted in various pinks. There is no white on this pony; even what appears to be white has been mixed with pink. Pink glitter added to one of the stars. Sealed with Dullcote over the FBR, Delta Ceramcoat matte over the cutie mark and eyelashes, and Mod Podge gloss.
