Hello everyone. I have this pony, but no information about it. Is that normal her waist is turned like that ? She is stuck in that position, I tried really hard to rotate it but it just won't budge.. I got the idea, she lights up and all, but should I try to open her up ? After all, she has a battery inside (working, but still, what if I find another one with a bad case of corrosion ?). How are we supposed to replace it ? Lilly Lightly has at least an accessible socket for her battery. Not her. I'm confused. Please, send help.  See ? It is bugging me pretty hard, it makes her very unstable, I just tipped her over, I don't even know how. ._. Have a good day, hope you can help me. ^^ Rose

Hello everyone !
As you may or may not know, I can't display my collection at the moment and the situation might stay as it is for some more years, so 90% of my collection lays in cardboard boxes, the rest found a small place "on display".
I just did a thing : pouring a whole box of ponies on my bed and check them all up. I freaked out when I noticed some of them were a bit squished, that was pretty obvious when watching their 4 legs from the bottom. So I had an idea : placing them all back in the box, but standing one on top of the others. Is that a good idea in your opinion ? At least I got way more space at the top, so it might be a technique to consider.
Maybe I should get some silica bags to protect them from humidity, but so far so good, there is no trace of mold on them.
I guess keeping them all standing in a dry environment and checking them from time to time is a good way to preserve them in those boxes, but I wanted to have your opinion, maybe I didn't think about something I should consider, this is why I'm telling you. Also, how many of you have the same situation ? 100+ of my ponies sadly live in boxes, waiting for their spa time,I can't clean them until I can display them, because they all get their mane messed up in those boxes no matter what I do, so they are just waiting.

Hi. I like to share pretty stuff I do, so here's my first take on mane styling on a pony Well, technically, I did curls, straight hair, braids and all that before but this is a first "intricate" style for me. There's no hair pins, only hair. Hi everyone ! Well, I just came back from a flea market and I have to show you these ! They are metal pins and by looking at the design, they're probably from the 80's. It's a pony head with a rainbow over it where it's written "Mon Petit Poney (tm)", colorless. I got them from a pins collector, I talked to him for a while, told me he probably got them in a lot. He had various horse related pins and I was about to leave when at the last minute, he noticed those two among his many pins. I was so happy to get them, I didn't know their existence, do you ?? I bought them for 5€ and it was so worth it. *-* And here are all my new ponies in one pic : Whole new squad G3 Scootaloo and Meadowbrook. Meadow has a huge marker patch on her NDS and Scoot has her tail cut and a yellowing at the base of it. Doesn't seems like tail rust but I shall investigate. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI got Meadowbrook as well as those two fakies for 1€ in total. They look like G1 Sweetheart sisters or G1 Color Swirls to me. They are nice But they got nasty tails ew.  Meadowbrook had a G3 yellow pendant on her. Well, hello there. Today I got my 150th pony, hooray ! And that's the first Drink'n'Wet pony : Baby Cuddles. Well, I have a mixed feeling with this collection but I still find them adorable, I might be one of the the least picky collectors out here. As I had guessed, the main issue with those cuties is the tail rusting because of the water even though there's a pipe, but that's no big deal for me now. Since I'm nuts with documentation regarding my collection, I think it might be helpful to tell you how I cleaned that pipe, for some archival reason or something. I'd be really glad to see you include my texts and pictures to your blog or website under the sole condition to mention my username but seriously, I trust you on that. =) You can find it right here : https://imgur.com/a/vxthF Reassemble the pony Good news everyone ! It's really easy to reassemble the pony ! I got it with only 2 attempts and no glue. I first put the tail back into the body. Look to see if the tube socket isn't a bit squashed by your new washer or what. Simply use your finger to clear the space inside. I then stick the tube in the mouth socket, then put the other end on the bum socket by approaching the head. Now you just need to rotate slowly the head plug into the body. Don't do full rotations but go back and forth and push well. Don't forget to keep an eye on the tube to see if it's still well placed on each side. The vinyl is soft on this one, you can heat it up a little more with a hairdryer to ease your task. And there you have your pony put back together. It took less than five minutes for me to get it. So, yeah, easy !  -------------- Hope that helps ! Maybe some people are new in collecting and/or are unfamiliar with those ponies and didn't want to restore them because they might fear to break the pony. Hi everyone ! This night, I made a dream about ponies, especially about collecting them. I was sneaking into stranger's attic in order to find ponies, take them for my collection and moving on to the next attic, I was making my way on people's roof. That was funny to dream that. I didn't see much since I worked in the dark, but I had found a pretty white Gingerbread as well as some G3 plushies. But some time later in the afternoon, dum-dum me left Gingerbread outside in plain sunlight and a couple of minutes were enough to make a dark brown spot on her back. Well, this dream actually translates my craze to find new ponies and my anxiety to keep them the mint-est very well. And you, did you have pony dreams ? Were you having epic adventures in Ponyland or did you find your grail in a flea market ? Tell me ! That might be nice to share ! =D Have a nice day ! Rose

Hi everyone ! I'm so excited, I just came back from a HUUUUUUUGE flea market and I've found my first ever G1 playset, the Paradise Estate ! I couldn't believe my eyes...And myself, since I was sure it wasn't the estate. There was some 2 pieces of furniture inside and there were stickers on the walls. And there was also this adorable Baby Surprise.  Indeed it was a surprise for me. I would have loved to have this playset and I actually have it... Well, uncompleted, but still ! From your expertise, how complete is it ? Like, in percent or in number of pieces missing. I'm so excited to show it to you, I'm going to do my research after lunch. x) The pony is really dirty, but quite okay besides that. Her symbol is glittery and intact and her tail has the factory curl. I might want to redo her mane, but I shall see later. Oh, also, it is so dirty.. Oh my. It was probably left in an attic for years. There is bird poop on it. ;-; Me and my old toothbrush are going to have so much fun to clean it. I can't wait to do it. Photoooos ! I was wondering if G2 gets some love, since I can"t find anything on the internet about them. Nothing about how to clean them, how to handle / repair mechanisms (Magic Motion, ...) etc.. The only thing in the preservation project seems to be about their rhinestones. And that's it. Well, I did find a topic about Magic Motions taken apart, but the pics are dead. There's nothing left, no update.
I do know people out here collect G2s. I was just wondering if it would be relevant to document G2s as much as G1s, so the newbies wouldn't be so afraid to try to clean and repair their G2s, because this is what is happening to me.
But well, I guess I'll have to make experiments on my G2s and make the documentation, trial and error myself. Don't worry, I will share it to you. =)

Hi everyone ! I wanted to do that to my friend's childhood pony, CF Peachy. I really like cascading symbols on G3 ponies, so I got this idea and really wanted to do it. It took me the whole day, alternating between having fun elsewhere, gathering my material and actually painting the pony. Oh, also waiting for the paint to dry. I had to give her spa time too, that's why it look a bit longer. I'm not sure I should have added the grass. But well, I didn't want to repaint the roots, so it was just a happy little accident, I tried to make it look "not that bad". ^^ Aside from the symbol, I also corrected her eyes and added a small amount of blush. G1 - G2 - G3  Well, hello everyone, here's my topic about my collection. I don't have a pony room yet, so all of my ponies are in boxes or on my parent's furniture. Since I wash one at a time when I can, my "clean ponies" box is filling up. Baby steps for my 100+ ponies. I'll clean them all eventually and display them. =D I mainly collect G1-2-3, but I also have a bunch of childhood fakies and G4s that I'll show you too. =) Anyway, here's all the photos I have of them. You may have already encountered them on other topic. lol. I want to keep this topic updated as I clean and get some more ponies. You can see the pony count in the title, first number being the number of ponies inside this topic and the second being all the ponies I currently own in real life, so it will increase too.  I hope you'll have fun watching my ponies. =) I do my best to offer you a clean and detailed gallery with the best pictures I can make. Hope you like it.  G1s :Sunbeam She was pretty much my first "big" restoration. I had to un-friz her mane and tail, remove the rust inside her body and tail, plug it back, repaint her symbol and one of her eyes a bit. She looks way better on the photo. Unfortunately in real life, she is pretty much still baity. She has patches of yellowing in various places, a munch mark on her horn, missing hair plugs, pink highlighter mark on muzzle, and still dry and rough mane and tail.
