I'm curious what colors people love the most. I allowed 3 options, but limit it to 1 or 2 colors and/or light/dark if you can.
If you could have the majority of your collection be on one color body, what would it be? In this perfect world, there would be a bountiful assortment of hair colors and gimmicks and such. Generation is irrelevant.
Personally, my favorite is white ponies, especially with dark hair.
What would the colors of your dream collection look like?

I just discovered Squishy Pops and have so far put them on fridge magnets, car window, and a jukebox. I want to put Cheese Sandwich on my boyfriend's bathroom mirror.

Hi, I have a question about Sweet Talkin' ponies. How difficult would it be to get inside one to change the batteries, get to the speaker, circuit board or whatever it uses, hair, etc. for restoration or customization purposes?

With Moonstone as my set completer, I have my first complete set! The first set of Rainbow Ponies!  visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSunlight was my sister's childhood pony (covered in marks, but perfect symbols), I got Parasol at an anime convention of all places (and an upgrade this past Christmas), Windy came in a cheap local lot and my first ever pony ebay lot (her symbols look fine except very little glitter???), Starshine was also a recent Christmas present, Skydancer was a prize from a photo contest on the TP, and Moonstone came in a lot that was mostly gen 3-4. Thy look great together but I don't have the heart to take down my favorites from my pony shelf in favor of the rainbows (except Starshine and Moonstone. They can get a spot if they like.) I just need Twilight to complete the first unicorn and pegasus set. I'm not really a set completer, so this was a happy accident. What are some other sets that might be worth completing and aren't too expensive? The Big Brothers are the only set I want to complete and are barely within my per-pony budget. Also, question, did rainbow ponies have color beneath their glitter? Windy has perfectly accuracy symbols except for her almost complete lack of glitter. I try to check my Toys R Us at least once a week, and I heard that someone saw 2015 old stock at theirs. What are some sets to keep an eye out for at TRUthat have increased in value? Pictures most appreciated so people can pull up this thread as a reference while at TRU.

I got skating Melody as a kid for Christmas about 12 years or so ago, and she came to me with her front 2 wheels busted, just really loose plastic on the metal bar. I just found out about the pull-back mechanism, and the metal bar still is attached and works, so I just need new wheels.
Any suggestions for getting replacement wheels that grip the metal bar?

Do Big Brother hats fit girl ponies? I want a cowboy hat for G1 Applejack.
For that matter, what clothes generally fit what ponies? I know some G3 attire fits some G1 ponies, especially SHS, but not shoes, and sometimes vice versa.
EDIT: Does "Best of the West" cowboy hat fit Applejack or her pose sisters?

I'm in the US and collect white ponies. I'd love to see photos of white variants of ponies that weren't white in the US, white ponies with variant hair, or simply white Nirvana ponies, though the latter is easier for me to look up to a degree thanks to strawberryreef's color search option.
The only variant I own is Italy Tootsie.

So. Some baby ponies have normal names and symbols. Like Stockings has a stocking, pretty normal But what about, say, Baby Sniffles or Sticky, with a toy hobby horse symbol, or Baby Rattles, with a bunny symbol. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginHave you ever imagined the baby ponies as adults? Who would end up with a more complex symbol as an adult? What color hair streak work brother/unicorns get? What would their special abilities be? Would twins with the same symbol get the same powers? Would identical twins get the same hair stripe? How would their personalities change? Have you drawn any art of the baby ponies as adults? I think Rattles and Tattles could be a show rabbit breeding duo, or pet rabbit breeders, or maybe one deals in pet rabbits while the other deals in show rabbits, letting the other sell the ones not quite show worthy.

I was too young to recall opening a G2 pony toy, and I've never even seen a NIB/MOC G1 pony in real life. How cheap can they get? What are some cheaper NIB/MOC ponies I could keep an eye out for, if I want to experience opening a real G1 pony?
EDIT: I wouldn't mind opening a complete in box pony that's already been opened. I'm still curious about relatively cheap MIP G1 ponies. I could probably convince myself to hold onto one.

I can only find NIB 25th anniversary first 6 ponies on (US) ebay. Anyone know how much they're worth individually?
I'm guessing they're not worth enough loose to trade for the new 35s.
