Finally got an SD card reader, so time to share what I bought at Babscon this year. -Handful of prints, some coasters and a SS Paradise. Paradise was a bit overpriced, but was the best condition of all the G1's that vendor was selling. Plushies! All the Babscon mascots (Queen Quake, Golden Gates, Silver Span and Copper Chip), DustyKatt's OC, and a marshmallow Applejack. She even squeaks! Fallout Equestria blanket and pillow Had an enjoyable time at Babscon, met a friend for the first time in person (We've talked via Steam chat on and off for years), even drove up to the Golden Gate Bridge https://imgur.com/a/FuvJQIf I ever go again, I'm gonna avoid LAX. Seems every flight I take out of there gets delayed for several hours.

Bought a G4 Holly Dash from a chinese ebay seller last month, finally got her in the mail today. She was advertised as new/unused in box on Ebay, however the toy's just about falling off the backcard. Was reasonably secured in a bubble envelope and with extra bubble wrap. I can understand a bit of damage in transit, especially with lengthy international shipping, but if I'm buying a "new" pony toy, I'd like the original packaging to be in better condition.
I'll be contacting the seller shortly to try and arrange a partial refund, hopefully it'll work out.

Came across a handful of G3/G1 ponies in fairly rough condition earlier. Couple of the G3's had their hair bunched up in ties/elastic, probably since the previous owner last played with them. I'm looking forward to straightening up that mess, might have to invest in a straightener to tame that frizz. There's a few I'd like some advice on touching up G1 Starflash- How do you clean around glitter safely? Starflash here has some head/body mismatch going on, as well as various smudges/dirty bits. Wondering what I can do to clean her up without removing the glitter. G3 Secret Wish- Is her tail ring supposed to look that ugly? Doesn't seem to be any rust along the hair, and from what I can see the clamp is in decent condition. I don't think I have the tools to replace G3 pony hair, that plastic is a lot more rigid than G1 ponies. There's also some dark spots near her magnet hoof, any idea what they are? I was looking at her pic on StrawberryReef, my Secret Wish barely has any glitter. Is the glitter somehow attached to the outside of the toy, or mixed in with the plastic? Thanks

Was walking around the Sevierville flea market yesterday, near the tables behind the main building, and I just happened to glance down and find a milk crate FULL of mostly G3's and G1's. Unfortunately I only had $15 on me, couldn't grab them all. Starflash and Peachy. Peachy should be easy enough to clean, though Starflash has some head/body mismatch going on and I don't want to scrub too hard and risk removing more glitter. Coconut Cream, SLH Rainbow Flash, Brights Brightly and Secret Wish Secret Wish seems to be missing a lot of glitter, and I don't think that tail washer looks too healthy. Got some brown spots near her magnet hoof, hard to tell if they're inside or on the surface. If anyone's in that area, I'm sure theres still some left, better go grab them.

Got a couple trades going on, one's from Canada. Do international payments take a fee from the seller if the buyer uses the "send to friends/family" option?

Maybe people here can help me with this one, anyone got a link to a reliable USPS shipping estimate site? I've never found an option on usps.com to use one's own box, just the boxes USPS sells. I was told by a local USPS employee that such an option does exist somewhere, but admitted USPS's site is a pain to navigate.
Thanks

Went to a flea market in Crossville TN today, and found these ponies Had to take Bowties head off, it was pretty loose already. I heard liquid sloshing around in there and wanted to give her a quick rinse and dry before cleaning up later. Strawberry Scoops was a neat find, probably not gonna mess with her hair. Quite frizzy and looks like a previous owner braided her tail. Looks like some of the original curls are still around. Regarding Seashell, kinda hard to see the pictures of all variants on Strawberry Reef and mylittlewiki. She's got a blaze/diamond on her head, can't tell if that's on the US variant or some foreign version. Can anyone confirm this? Unfortunately Seashell's got some ugly brown spots around her neck ring. Hoping they're not too serious and will come off. Sugarberry's neat, I'm always looking for something different to add to my collection. Is it worth removing a pony's head to replace the metal tail washers/clamps? There's no visible signs of rust on the outside of a pony. Just curious about eventual resale value, though these are mainly for my personal collection. If I do sell these ponies several years later, I'll probably try to get what I paid for them.

Got some marks/stains on Sundance and Minty, wouldn't even come off with magic eraser. Haven't tried acetone yet, think a hot oxiclean bath would take care of them? Minty's also got some nasty brown stuff inside her, got some of it off with soapy water and q-tips, most of that brown stuff is quite stubborn. Hoping the oxiclean treatment will help that. So far these two are cleaning up nicely, is there a point at which I should resell them as bait? The marks on the outside don't look like anything serious, I'm more concerned about the brown scum inside Minty. Thanks

Had a blast this year at Bronycon. While the convention itself has lost a bit of charm (My 4th time, it's no longer new and exciting) I had more fun messing around with my friends. And I think thats what these events are really about, spending time with people you care about. Anyways, here's some pics of all the loot me and my friends bought. We estimated the value of everything in this hotel room at a little over $10k, with nearly $4100 in plushies alone. Most of the prints, shirts and blankets. Including four years of designed just for our group. Over $4000 worth of high quality plushies on one windowsill. From artists like WhiteDove, Equestria Plush, Kazzy's Plush Emporium and more. Not pictured is a lifesize Rainbow Dash by KLPlushies. Not pictured are about 10 dakimakuras for obvious reasons, and a couple Fallout Equestria plushies I commissioned earlier in the year, but didn't arrive at Bronycon in time. All the stuff I bought. I try to go into Bronycon's vendor hall each year with a specific goal. Past few years I purchased mostly Applejack themed prints and plushies, since she's my favorite pony. This year I was looking into buying a variety of characters/merchandise. A couple cute wall scrolls, a Blackjack beanie plush by Kazzy, several prints and a Bright Mac/Pear Butter paper craft. That last one was a must buy, it's adorable. Not pictured are a couple Fallout Equestria plushies I commissioned a while ago, but didn't arrive at Bronycon in time for pickup.

Found a G1 Minty and Sundance at a thrift store in Crossville TN. A quarter each, considering their condition that's worth the price. Sundance is missing a third of her mane, other than that her hair is a mess, should smooth out after a conditioner treatment. Covered in some kind of scum, I cleaned parts of her with a damp cloth and whatever it was came off, I'll deal with worse stains later if I uncover any. Minty's scummy as well, I think her tail rings are inside, I'd have to take her head off and find out. Hooves are chewed up slightly as well. Figured I'd clean em up and sell them as bait, don't quite have the skills to restore them further. Quick question, when looking up ponies on Strawberry Reef, what to the acronyms CF and FF mean? Concave/Flat feet? Curious as to what variation of Minty I found (Flat hooves, 1982, made in Hong Kong)

A friend found this gem at a Goodwill. Cleaned up nicely, with the exception of some stubborn stains on her neck and front hoof. Acetone and a magic eraser wouldn't work, and I don't feel like waiting around to try sunfading. Her hair was a complete mess, took the better part of an hour to untangle after letting it soak in conditioner all day. Still some rough frizz, but I tucked that behind her legs. Wasn't expecting this size G3, the pic my friend sent me at the Goodwill didn't show her size. Thought it was a normal sized G3 at first. Had a spot reserved right next to a G3 Sweetie Belle, guess this one's going behind instead. On a side note how would voice actor autograph affect the resale value of older pony toys? Cathy Weseluck's coming to Bronycon this year, was considering asking her to sign this toy.

Found this G3 Scootaloo at a flea market in eastern TN. Don't know what those markings are, but neither pure acetone or a magic eraser could remove them. Any other ideas?

Bought the power pony Applejack loose from overseas a while ago, her hair came loose and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be tucked into those green socks. At least according to the stock pics on MLPMerch. My mom has this tweezer-like tool we used to grab the tail hair and pull it through, but there's just too much mane hair to work with. Tried pulling it through in sections, but again that sock is just too small for the amount of hair.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Anyone got any other ideas on how to keep certain G4 toys from falling over? Small stacks of coins works for most cases, but the Flim Flam brothers and Mayor Mare from the Nightmare Night sets are the worst offenders. I had to lean them against a building/wall or they'd be eating grass.
