I have an extra glitter variant Celestia, unopened, that I'd like to trade for a glitter Luna! I'm not interested in any other variant trades at this time, since Luna is the only one missing from my collection. I'm sure I'm not the only one! Since it's the beginning of a brand new year, that means I need to start working on my cosplays! This year I'm going to be a little crazy and work on 3 different outfits for a convention I'll be attending in the middle of April. Every year, I wait until the last minute to work on my outfits because I'm a master at procrastinating. This year I want to get more of a head start on things. So, I want to know what everyone's goals are for this year as far as cosplay goes. This can also include any ideas you have for Halloween or any other occasion where you'll be dressing up. I want to know! As for me, these are the three cosplays I'll be focusing on: Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece, time-skip look. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginChopper, again, in the second arc after the time-skip. One of the other crew members was stuck inside of his body, hence the face he has on his hat. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginCharlotte from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, in her second form. Gonna do a human-ish version of this. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI may or may not throw in a pony related cosplay for the My Little Pony Fair, but we'll see how I feel after working on these 3. Along with this, another related goal of mine is to be in better shape for the convention. Anyone who attends cons knows that there's a lot of walking around involved. I get absolutely winded after such a short time walking, and this needs to be fixed! So exercise is a must this year- and I've already started on that, so I'm on the right track!

This year I participated in my very first swap, thanks to stopxmotion! I received a package from her today and she should be getting her package from me very soon. For now, I want to brag about some of the awesome things that she got for me! I was seriously happy about everything. First off, everything straight from out of the box:

I really hate to do this, but I have no idea how else to go about this on the forums. Last week, mlponygems sent me a PM saying that she had a glitter Spitfire for sale for a really good price. I knew this was too good to be true, but glitter Spitfire is the absolute LAST Funko I need to complete my set so I'll admit that I let my excitement cloud my judgement. I sent her payment (using my fiance's Paypal account since I was low on funds at the time) and then mlponygems sent me a message saying that she had my package ready to go. This was two days ago. Now you may be wondering why I'm accusing her of being a scammer after just a few days, right? Well, I tried sending her a PM to ask if she had sent Spitfire out yet and I got an error stating that she was no longer able to receive PMs. That's a little odd. She never gave me a tracking number or anything, plus I have further proof that this is most likely a scam. When I asked for a picture of Spitfire, she sent me this: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginYesterday, I was on eBay and see if you spot anything familiar in this listing: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLooks like that Spitfire was just cropped out. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginHer picture vs the eBay listing picture. So, naturally, I feel like an idiot. I've had nothing but positive experiences with trading and buying here on the forums, so I'm very disappointed that this has happened. Mostly, I'm mad at myself and embarrassed for getting excited over nothing. It doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it makes me want to cry to think that I was so close to finishing a set, getting a hard to find item for such a seemingly decent price, just to realize that I'll never be receiving this item. I'm still not sure what the deal is with her no longer being able to receive private messages, but I figured everyone needed to be warned. To me that's a sign that she never intends on responding to me again and is off enjoying the money I sent her. I would open up a claim on Paypal, but I sent the payment as a gift (complete accident on my part, adding to how stupid I feel). I also feel like I owe my fiance more than the amount that he let me send over from his account.

There are already 7 pony POP! figures out, so those two could be made along with Luna to round it out and make 7 this time around as well. The release date is set for some time in January 2015.

I haven't seen a post about this yet, so here it goes! A few days ago I got the Daring Do Adventure Collection in the mail from Barnes & Noble. I had pre-ordered it a few months back, since the price was marked down from $75 (I think) to $42. I'm not sure what the price is now, but that depends on where you buy it from. The set comes with: 3 hardcover books 1 golden figure of Daring Do (seems to be the same blind back mold) 1 treasure chest to hold the books 1 "book" that's actually completely empty. It's sorta like those "secret compartment" books that can hold items. It's neat! Sorry for the Instagram pic, but I'm too lazy to get the others off of my phone. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDoes anyone else have this yet? I'm excited to read the books! Seems like they'll be a good way to pass the down time I have at work for a day or two.

I'm a huge Queen Chrysalis fan. She's my absolute favorite villain/character from Friendship is Magic. I've had my eye on this plush for a while, but I kept thinking that it was too expensive. Well, I decided to treat myself and look who arrived today when I got home from work! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginYes, that's her standing on top of her face.  My laptop is Chrysalis themed. I'm really surprised as how well she stands on those legs. She's just gorgeous! So yeah, I just had to brag about this. Happy Renia is happy!

I figure I'll get her later and maybe they'll have RD in stock. Also, it seems that Kmart is doing a sale on a lot of pony merchandise.

I think this variant is funny (and it looks alright) but I'd like to see some new figures as opposed to variants of already existing ones (I'm looking at you, black bodied Spitfire and DJ Pon-3)! Honestly, I think I'd like this figure better if he actually looked sick, like he did in the episode.

I went to Pittsburgh Comic-Con today and met two of my favorite artists/writers for the My Little Pony comic, Andy Price and Katie Cook. They were both super awesome and, along with my fiance, we all chatted a bit about ponies, the comics, the show, and just some other random things.
