Hey all,
After my horror the other week of opening up a box containing baby ponies and finding them all covered with mould, people on here suggested I keep silica gel in my boxes. This is a great idea and my first batch arrived today, yay!
My question is this...is it ok to put individual packets *inside* each pony, as well as scattering some in the box? I have spent most of my weekend taking the heads off my ponies, removing their tails, ditching the rusty washers, removing the tail rust and disinfecting the insides of the ponies. Most are now completely dry and one or two are still drying. Now that I have my lovely, clean, rust and mould free ponies back, I never want moisture to wreak it's havoc EVER again, so.....silica gel packets *inside* each pony, yay or nay? Can it do any harm to the plastic? I know for some, this may be overkill, but I can be a little OCDish when it comes to ponies! I don't mind overkill as long as I won't be harming them by doing it. What do people think?

...the horror, the horror!!! I just opened up a box of babies and they were covered in mould  Please help...what should I do? I have taken them out of the box, disinfected the box and put the ponies out so they can air through. How can I kill the mould and clean up the ponies? Any suggestions welcome!

.....all your Powder pose ponies! I was going through my collection today taking pics and it struck me how much I ***LOVE*** Powder's pose  I think of all the ponies, Powder and Skyflier look the most feminine and pretty because of their pose. Come to think of it...how many more ponies are there in that pose? I can only think of those two at the moment! Are there any other Nirvana ponies in that pose?If so, please let me see them! I wondered if he might be a factory blank, but other than that I really have no clue....he doesn't look as if someone took acetone to him (and why would they?) as he's as clean as a whistle paint-wise, and still shiny!
