After reading about all these thrift store and flea market finds I am dying to go pony hunting tomorrow  In the meantime here are my new arrivals

I have been wanting a Baby Lucky Leaf since the first time I was collecting ponies about 10 years ago but then stopped collecting for a long time so she never made it into my collection....until now! Finally I have her!!! She's been one of my grails. She arrived today from Germany and I LOVE her!! I think I got her for a really good price and I don't see her come up often.

And last but not least, my first Bushwoolie! I found him at the thrift store last week in a bag with other junky toys. No other G1's in sight sadly. But still super excited to have him. Baby Cotton Candy is not new, I've had her since childhood but I had colored her hair with a highlighter as a child so she got rehaired finally and looks good as new

I usually like to make G1 to G4's but this girl is all my own I'm an Indie Yarn Dyer and while I work with mainly wool, my dyes also work on Nylon so I decided to try dyeing my own pony hair This one was a simple dip dye and the hair came from that batch where some of the strands don't absorb the dye but it turned out cute. My daughter wanted hearts for her cutie mark so hearts she got! Her eyes and cutie mark are sparkly but it's hard to see in the photos. Thanks for looking

I found tons of ponies at thrift stores last week and on the weekend

First I found these lovely ladies in my city last week. Don't mind the McD's ponies and fakies. My daughter insisted on keeping them

Then for the weekend my sister and I drove to visit my cousin who lives 3 hours away. We stopped half way in another city to grab lunch and there was a Value Village right there so we decided to pop in and see if they had any ponies. They had several so then at our destination we decided to stop at 2 more and found even more ponies. I've never found so many ponies in 1 day!! And I even left a few behind that I knew my daughter already had. I accidentally got a few doubles too so they are not in the pictures. Anyway, here they are, all fresh out of the bath

I was so excited to find some ponies at the thrift store this weekend I don't actively collect G3's but I was still excited. My daughter has a lot of G3's so they got added to her collection to play with. Don't mind the wet hair, I cleaned them up and then she ran off with them before they could dry
