what should you do when someone you know on facebook, not a super close friend, just keeps posting more and more, increasingly negative and destructive things?
is it ok to message them and ask if they are ok?
(not sure if this is a WYP thread or not. so putting it here for now)

favorite picture visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt was really hard to narrow down from all the awesome options that Eluluu had on her list, but this one was just too tempting to try. i was a little nervous as she said she didn't really like orange, and since part of the logo was orange i thought an accent in the hair was necessary, but only one side, so the yellow shows up on the display side. I got to try alot of techniques i've never done before on this pony. i've recently gotten into making faceups for bjd, and use pastels for blending, blushing and gradients. and well i wanted to try this on a pony too. there is blushing on her hooves, face and ears in a slightly darker blue. it took about 5 to 8 layers to get an even and dark enough coating. i'm really pleased with how it turned out. all was sealed with a dulcoat spray. since i used a technique i use on bjd on the body, i thought it was only fair to give her more luxurious eyelashes.  normally i go with a factory style, so this was new to me as well. the another exciting adventure for me was the cutie marks, i used a combination of acrylics, watercolor for detail shading, and various glosses to make the logo cutie mark and more of a oil painting style on the catfish in the back. normally i just use clean solid lines and try to mimic factory style cutie marks as much as possible. lastly i make a small sculpted pet to go with the pony. i haven't made a sculpture in a long time and never for a swap, as i don't think they look good enough. it was made with white scultpy and painted then sealed with a variety of triple thick and dulcoat, the teeth were made with glow in the dark sculpty, so i hope they still glow.  all in all i'm very happy with the result and hope that Eluluu likes her too. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginsorry, my photoshop seemed to do something weird to the colors.... i'll fix it for my archives, but the actual colors are as the one above.

my niece is going to a shopkin birthday, she doesn't like shopkins so she hasn't bought any.
i guess at the birthday they are supposed to bring shopkins to trade with the other kids.
well my niece was planning on bringing a few and just giving them to the other kids, since she doesn't want to collect them.
so!!! what i'm looking for is a few cheap and random shopkins my niece can bring to the party so she can participate. the party is on the 15th of this month, so i'd need them in hand before then. please let me know how many you have and what you are asking. i know she's watching some other stuff online, so this could close earlier than not. thanks-j

found a dvd of my a favorite show signed by the main actors for 20$ more than the unsigned copy....
the discs are not perfect either.
i'd love to get them, but it's hard to justify the extra cost, when cash is tight.
i'm just thinking this might be my one chance to get the autography of two actors i love in one go.

Update:
ok so i cancelled the order and relisted the item.... well it sold again today to someone who just started an ebay account today and has zero feedback.
i thought i had set all my settings to avoid anyone with zero feedback, my concern is it's the same person.... ah!!! am i allowed to cancel the auction on them? i was thinking of emailing them and letting them know i don't sell to people with zero feedback, but i don't know if that's allowed. or wise. etc. but its very suspicious.
when i first listed it there were no items similar, now there are 4 of the same. all about the same price as mine... so i'm wondering if i just give up on it for a while. (copying this to put in a new post too.)
I sold a big ticket item this morning with the bin option.
They already paid for it.
I just got an email asking to cancel it because they don't want it anymore.
Am i obligated to cancel the transaction?

hi all, i thought it would be fun to plan a custom swap for late spring. maybe april or may, and had an idea i think is fun.
toys of the 1980's
so the idea is to list a few of your favorite toys from the 80's whether that be strawberry shortcake, heman, turtles etc anything goes except ponies. since the base of the custom will be a pony, seems anti-climatic to have a pony be the theme.
what do you yall think?
there are so many awesome toys and comics from the 80's i think it has good potential.
don't know if this theme has been done before, but i haven't seen it for a while. so i thought it was worth asking.

Hi! so i finally got done with the face up of the doll i bought in dec. disclaimer she is a recast, but that's not a debate i want to start up. just stating it because i think it's important, so people dont' think i'm trying to pass her off as legit Just want to show off my first attempt at a resin face up. oh and i finally have a name for the doll. Her name is Yulan. it's a type of magnolia tree. i used pastels and dry watercolor pencils for the first time. it was a lot of fun and i hope to work on more in the future. (probably will do a lot of vinyl dolls for now. ) i worked in layers so here are pictures of each layer. Spoiler visitors can't see pics , please register or logini haven't blushed the legs or the back yet. will do that when the face up is officially done. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginnext layer visitors can't see pics , please register or loginand this is where she's currently at. i have a few things i want to tweek, but i'm currently happy with her. i'd love to hear some feedback or advice before i seal this in. i do plan on getting her eyelashes for the top lids, can i get those for people and cut them down? or do i need to get doll specific ones? i also plan on putting a gloss on her lips, and finishing the body blushing. i'm a little nervous it didn't turn out, since i did it so fast..... afraid i rushed it and am just happy with it because it's done. i already have her wig and plans for her clothes. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginhere she is wearing her wig. i might either try a different one or trim this one. visitors can't see pics , please register or logini've already started working on her clothes and i hope to finish them this week.

so after reading a few topics on here. i finally found a bjd head that i really liked on ebay. its legit with it's paperwork and everything....
well turns out it's a small company that makes an odd size of head and well the bodies are well.... i think they are not attractive and don't fit for the doll i wanted to make.
now i don't think i can get a body for the doll.
i already have it on its way to spain to get a face up for it, so i feel like i'm possibly wasting even more money.
already paid 20$ extra to ship it to spain only to find i may never find a nice body that fits it.
any idea of what i should do?
the head is a mirodoll yaya. pretty cute, but i'm told it's small for a msd and i was hoping to find a luts or similar boy body for the doll.

so i got a beautiful pullip head, and well.
i want to give her a body.
i have an azone body i could use, but i wanted to go with something bigger.
i know that, skin tone wise, apple or duchess match from eah.
but the size isn't much bigger than an obitsu. in face i think it's smaller.
i do have a moxie teenz body who is searching for a head, but the skin tone is much darker.
i really like how the size looks
i'm not against repainting the whole head or even trying to dye it. (if that even works) then redoing the faceup. the face up is pretty, but i'm ok if it changes as well.
what ever i chose i know there will be modification that will need to be made. and some might not even be possible. either way. i either get this girl a body. or i sell the head off.... advice?

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginfinally found some decent ponies at the thrift store. this all came from 3 bags. plus some dolls. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginthere was more in the bags. but this is what i kept. the mane six brushables will go in my bait box. poor rarity, but the other g4's will be cleaned and go up for sale. amazingly enough i bought the bag for the bait and the giant pinkie, but got a few extra surprises too. the g1 will be traded to a friend for equestria girl parts.

so i have a ton of stuffed animals from my childhood and early adult like that are new with tags and well... they are nice, but i know stuffed animals are near impossible to sell. so aside from a few really rare and htf ones i'll be donating them. and i think i found a place to donate them. http://www.stuffedanimalsforemergencies.orghas anyone ever heard of them? know anything about them? or know of a better place to donate plushes? i don't want to donate them to a recycle shop, mostly cuz i know they will sit there forever, and if i see them, i know i'll break down and rebuy them... very counter productive. plus i don't want people buying them only to resell. i want them going to children and being loved. why i want to donate them to an organization that specializes in this kind of thing. does this one look reputable?

i have my bory, and thought they might be similar in size etc, but i'm not sure and don't really know where to look.
ok i did find out that he's about 10"
very dark skin, and discontinued. he's 100$
which is what i was going to put towards another msd.
he is really cute, but smaller than i was hoping to start collecting.
any advice?

just listed a bunch of my fox plushes from my personal collection. i really want them to go to good homes, as they have meant alot to me. http://www.ebay.com/usr/jongellerhere is where they are listed. i will happily combine shipping. also have hawkmon and a custom jessica rabbit disney animator doll i'll be listing a ton of toys on Craigslist tonight. I'm willing to ship them, but they are heavy, so i'm keeping them off ebay.
