I'm wondering about G2 clothing. Am I right in thinking there were sets of clothes sold independently of ponies? Like with G1 pony wear. I'm seem to remember seeing a dino costume... maybe.... So if I was looking to buy these, if they exist as I think they do, what should I be thinking about saving to pay? Do they come up loose or MOC? Is there a list of which ones exist as my googling can't find anything ? Thanks everypony ^_^

Hi all. I got these in a lot a few months ago but I've never worked out what they are. Are they anything of anything? Do you think they're sell-able? I don't particularly want them, but I don't want to bin them if possible. Though I doubt they are worth anything much. The ones with wings say Mattel on them, one of them has lost it's wings though. The carousel ones have nothing on them except China. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThanks for looking ^_^

Hi all, In a similar vein to Lorelei Redfern's post, I too propose a Birthday swap. My Birthday is mid April, so anyone with a birthday from mid-March, April or May may like to join me in a lil box of swaps ^_^ We can discuss it over PM of course but I was thinking that it would probably include ponies, party stuff, sweets, and maybe a little something else. I'm in the UK, but I'm cool with posting world wide. So don't be shy let's celebrate our birthdays

Hi, So I have time on my hands and have been thinking about messing about with some doubles I have. They are G3 and my plan would be to eventually attach diamonte/crystal/gems to the bodies. However I was wondering what the best way might be to go about this. Is super glue going to be better than PVA, or something else? I don't want something that will just cause the gems to drop off after a short time, but I don't want something that will eat the plastic because it's too strong (if that's even possible). I'm not very good at trial and error, I like it to be pretty good first time , so I would love to hear what you more experienced guys use or suggest. Thanks ^_^

Okay, maybe I missed something somewhere - it happens a lot - but look what I found in Tesco today (excuse the quality ) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI was super excited as I haven't seen them in any of my usual Pony haunts. They didn't have the Applejack family set though Please tell me I'm not the only one who didn't know about this?

So I found this book thing in TK Maxx today, and I thought it was pretty cute so I bought it . It's a G3 book with some mini figures of the core 7 and a playmat. I thought it was strange they were selling such old stock, given that they had some G4 stuff in, but then I saw the copyright on it. It's 2012. It seems officially licensed as it has the Hasbro logo, and a little disclaimer on the back that all the art work etc is intellectual property of Hasbro. What I can't understand it why they have either re-printed this when G3 isn't current, or why Hasbro would allow license of non-current pony types. Has anyone else got this? Or bought it years ago, or even recently? Does anyone else think it's weird?

Hi hi everypony! I have a white pony (G1 Tulip) with a delightful black mark on her face. And as I love her so much it really is a problem. I think I have made it a bit fainter I think through washing, then trying pouring boiling water over her head and scrubbing, I've used magic eraser (the JML one right?) but it's still quite prominent. I'm going to give a couple more goes at scrubbing, but I was thinking of sun fading her. But here is the question(s) is it worth wrapping her up and sticking her in the window now...in winter... and might she go yellow? Obviously I know the sun is not in optimum position for this in the UK now, but might it still be a bit worth it, or do I need to be patient and wait for summer (*giggles* summer in the UK ) Thanks ^_^

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20629245"feemium" might be my new most hated word. Interesting to see that consumers don't like this type of thing though. I'm stuck myself now without buying tonnes of gems.

Hi all, just a quick one for PonyDex updating purposes: I got a lot of ponies and in it were some McDonalds versions, one of which was a G2 Sunsparkle. It is one with a moveable head, gem eyes and rooted mane and tail. I looked it up on mylittlewiki and it says it is a Dutch version. Is this correct or was it available elsewhere? Thanks all!

Just a quick one about an ebay thing. I will state that the issue is resolved as I got my pony, but it's left me wondering.
I bought a Sunsparkle/(dance) G2 on ebay and it paid straight away. It was dispatched to me quickly, but almost two weeks later it hadn't arrived.
I contacted the seller and she said she would check the tracking as she always gets it on her packages. She said that, once she had checked it, she could either give me a refund or send me another one as she was selling ones she had doubles of. I said that we should wait to see what the post office said but that I did want the pony if possible.
Two days later she got back to me saying she still had not heard from the post office but was sending out a second one right away and if the first ever arrived I could keep it. The new one arrived the next day. Now the confusing part of this is as follows: the one I received is *exactly* the same as the photos she uploaded for the auction.
I mean, 100% the same. It has a missing eye gem for one, came with the same lil hair clip (not necessarily a give away but still) and the same slight blemishes on the cutie mark. I now suspect that the seller never sent the first one. I know I received the "double" one because the postal date on the big sticker stamp was from the day before.
I'm not going to leave negative feedback or anything as I got what wanted and even what I expected, but is this weird to anyone else? Is it normal to photograph the one your not selling? Or am I just being paranoid.
Just interested in thoughts. PitterPatter

Okay, so please excuse if this gets ramble-y but I really could do with peoples thoughts. I'm trying to write a personal statement for a PGCE course to become a primary teacher. I've written personal statements before, job applications etc but this seems so much harder. I have "4000 characters, 47 lines" to write this in, and that's based on the formatting of the online application so I can't change font size. Urgh, I've been trying to do this for four hours (perhaps that's the problem?) and it isn't getting any easier. It feels so limiting. I currently work in a school so I have a lot to say, plus I need to get across why I want to do this, and how other non-school experiences help me. I know what I want to say but I cannot hit the limit, I'm always over. Anyone else ever had trouble writing these things? Or advice on best things to cut? Or a funny meme or youtube video to distract me from this torment?!
