Okay, so not to go into a long diatribe about why I hate my current job or all of the other things I've applied for, I have an interview tomorrow!
Quick explanation of the new job - I applied for a job in the National Assembly for Wales (it's in the civil service, for those overseas) and they gave me an interview for it two weeks ago, said I'd done really well but that I hadn't got it. I rang them and asked about it and they said I was a reserve for that job but actually they'd found another. I had an interview for that yesterday, and found out today I didn't get it, but again, there is another job I might be better suited for. The interview for that is tomorrow. They wanted me in today but it's a bit like, well, I do need to turn up to the job I'm doing sometimes!
So, I am trying to look on the bright side that they obviously want to employ me, but I am getting frustrated that I keep having to be re-interviewed by different people.
Anyway, please cross your hooves for me tomorrow. It would be the first permanent job I've had, after leaving university 8 years ago.

Edit: New question - how do I get a small countdown ticker type thing that will work on here and not take up too much space? I want to count my 30 days down  Right, I've tried to change my sig but for some reason it keeps coming up with the old, unedited version of the picture. What does anyone see when they look at it? I don't know if this is really the best place to put this, but I need to stop buying ponies! I'm sure there used to be a thread where people could sign up to not buy ponies for 30 days. Unfortunately I can't find it now. Anyway, I need to have a break from buying for a while, and 30 days seems like a good amount of time. Help?

I just got a regular Lemondrop in a lot from eBay. She is quite sad looking since she has cancer spots on her face and pindot mould on her hooves  Anyway, I love her all the same, and I was looking at the Nirvana pages to see all her variants. Now I desperately want the Italian with the blue hair! So.... show me your Lemondrops!

Hello everypony I have never actually looked at this part of the forum before... however, I just had a little look at the galleries and I am smitten by Argie white Baby Starbow (Baby Starbow is one of my faves anyway). I anticipate I won't like the answer to this but... how much does she normally go for? Another question - does anyone have a good photo of a Mexican Baby Quackers? I love my normal BQ and I've seen the Mexican variant but she doesn't seem to look that much different from mine. Hmm. I kind of hoped there would be more BQ variants so I could have a mini-army, but there only seems to be the Mexican one. I think that was a bit of a ramble, sorry

I'm not sure if I should be here or in customs, but does anyone know if there's any way of giving the G1 Secret Surprise ponies new tails? I've tried taking a head off before and it did not get me very far, haha. I have two now that have either no tail or a rubbish tail-cut, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

Hello everypony!
Bit of a weird question, but does anyone have any patterns for making ponywear for G1s? More specifically babies? My Baby Quackers likes to go journeying with me and I'd like to make her a little adventuring outfit. I have lots of scrap fabric and I can crochet, so either of those things would be good.

I assume it will be acrylic. I think I'll have to look for some fine glitter for the stars and moon, any advice? Particularly supplies I can buy in the UK. She's going to have to pop off to the window now anyway, as she's nowhere near as white as she looks in the photos. Not that there is any sun here to fade her with! Okay, so yesterday it was lovely and sunny so I was sunfading my Bunny Hop #1 who is covered in pink highlighter. Since it was *so* sunny I thought I would open the window and put her on the window ledge so she would actually get real sun, not just the sun through the window. I'm sure you can see where this is going. It was a little windy and when I went to check on her she had disappeared.  I live in the top floor flat of a house that's been converted, so essentially I live in an attic. About 7ft down from my window is a small balcony type thing, on which Bunny Hop was lying. Poor Bunny Hop. After some amount of panicking and texting my boyfriend for ideas I decided to see if I could go pony fishing out of my window with a ball of string. I made a loop in one end of the string and then practised fishing with Bunny Hop #2 in my living room. (Now I don't seem so mad for having multiple Bunny Hops...) Luckily, due to the funny shape of her back legs, if you get a loop around one of them she balances, so you don't have to make one that tightens or anything fancy like that. So I leant out of the window with my loop on my string and tried to get it around the appropriate leg. The wind kept blowing and the string was pretty light so it was hard to manoeuvre, but eventually I managed to get it around the leg! I spent the whole time pulling her up convinced that she was going to fall just before I could grab her, but luckily she carried on balancing just fine & was safely delivered back into my flat. Hurrah!  I hope if anyone saw me pony fishing out of the window they at least got a laugh out of it. Haha. Anyone else got any weird pony adventures?

Steamer is almost perfect apart from a couple of these spots: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo I'll have to see what I can do to get rid of those. The other two just need a good scrub! They're my first full size male ponies ever, I did have any boy ponies in my childhood collection, so I'm very excited!

Remember the three ponies I got from Etsy who looked a bit like they'd been dragged through a hedge backwards and possibly dropped in a muddy puddle afterwards? Well, Raincurl did at least. She was in the best condition of the three and I've just finished beautifying her. She's my first (kind of) restoration! Now onto the painted Moondancer and all the Bunny Hops I have to make nice

Hello all
I am currently in the process of sunfading my Bunny Hop who was covered in pink highlighter. I also have a couple of other questions about restoring her to her former glory. Firstly - she used to have pink hair. Now it's white (with the purple stripe in the mane). Can I dye it? Or should I just leave it be? I don't feel strongly enough about it to rehair, but I just saw a picture of one with pink hair and now I feel sorry for her.
Secondly, I need to make her a new hat and bunny as she is missing both. Someone mentioned a tutorial for this? I haven't been able to find one, so if anyone knows of one & can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. Or if anyone who has done this before has any tips? I have some sculpey.
I hope this is in the right section, not sure if it should be here or customs?
