I had fun with this pony for hyenacub. He gave me a bunch of funky neon colors to work with and since I've been recently looking into Steampunk stuff, this came pretty easily.

Alright, time for the details! For the body, I found the perfect green and metallic bait from Colorscapsart's Etsy shop. The only real painting I did was the eyes and eyeshadow.

Rehaired with Lemon Drop and Daring styled in various ways with pearlized pins. For the top hat, I crocheted it and added ribbon I kept around from one of my son's baby blankets and added the various watch hands and jewel. The necklace I made with various beads I had left around the house. For the belt, it was a watch band with various charms I found at Michaels. And for the cutie mark, I used cogs I got at Home Depot with flower accents from Michaels.

So there you go, with Colorscapesart giving me a boost with the bait prep, I was able to put together all the other accessories. I nearly glued myself together a few times too.

Any hyenacub, I am so glad you like her! I thought I might have gone overboard on the accessories but since I liked her, I figured you would too. And the hyena plush thrown in was from what you posted in the TLK fanatic thread. <3

I decided to wander over here because I would like to start collecting more of the LPS. I have a few and collected some of the postcard pets. I now want to get my collection up for fun for my son and me (since he likes playing with cute, colorful things). I would like to focus my collection on:

I started on Epona when I got into a Newbie Swap a couple of months ago. I finished up wyndstar's Peppermint Flurry and then got back to work on Epona. For those that haven't seen her, here is wyndstar's Peppermint Flurry:

For those that don't know, this Epona is from the Legend of Zelda video game series. Her cutie mark is a music note (because of her own theme song) and the Triforce. She is my first personal custom and will keep her around. Epona's head is fully turnable, cutie mark on both sides, rehaired with Dollyhair White Witch, and painted with acryllics.

Next, I made a young adult Granny Smith (whom I like to call Apple Smith). I took a bit of artistic license on her hair color because we really don't know officially except her older white hair. Smith's head is fully turnable, cutie mark on both sides, rehaired with Dollyhair Sunlight, and painted with acryllics. I also crocheted her bonnet and bandana. I'm still deciding whether or not I would like to sell her or trade for stuff on my wishlist.
