Hi all! I'm always looking for music suggestions, and would love to know of any bands/artists/producers y'all think I should check out. I'm mostly in to electronic (largely Moombahton, techno, ambient and house), rock bands similar to Kyuss or Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, and "indie"-sounding bands similar to Seabear. I am open to pretty much any genre of music, but I have a hard time liking country, rap, R&B or hip-hop, and a lot of more "pop" music. If you can think of any bands I might like, feel free to suggest! And if you're on the look out for new music, post what you're in to and maybe others can suggest bands for you as well. c:

My mum decided to take me out to yard-sales today in a near-by town. This weekend was a whole-town sale type deal, so we expected a lot of sales... Unfortunately, there weren't many left today. :/ I was really disappointed because I hadn't found any ponies or pokemon stuff, and was ready to give up and head home when we passed a yard sale with a bunch of audio equipment. I've been looking for a decent and cheap turntable for a long time, and today I finally found one! I got a Pioneer PL-518 for only $30, which my dad said was a pretty good deal. It works great, too! I broke out my (very tiny) collection of vinyls and have been listening to them since I got home. Since I don't have a real amp or good speakers yet, I've had to jerry-rig a set up that works. Right now, my turn table is plugged in to my guitar amp, and I have some cheap computer speakers plugged in to that with an adapter that came with my Dre Beats that I got for Christmas. And, while I was lugging my turntable back to the car, an older woman stopped me and took down my name and number, after telling me she had a bunch of Jazz, classical and early rock albums she'd give me for free! Yay!

Okay, so. Back in elematary school I checked a book out that I didn't read because my tiny brain couldn't understand it (it was in the "big kids" section of the library). I probably made it two or three chapters in before giving up. All I remember was that this boys family was having some kind of problem, and they had just moved in to a new house. When the boy was looking through the garage or attic or something, he finds a man with wings or something like that. The book title was the winged mans name, if I remember correctly. I know it's not a lot of information to go off of, but if anyone has any guesses, I'd appreciate it! This has been bugging me for months.

I've seen some other members here mention that they role-play! So I'm just wondering who else is in to it, as I would like to start role-playing again. In middle school and early high-school, that's pretty much all I ever got online for, and last year I had a pretty long-term one on one role-play with someone I met online. Unfortunately, that petered out, and I haven't role-played since. I would love any advice for getting back in to it, what sites I should look in to, etc. And, if anyone is interested in a one on one, feel free to PM me with what you like to role-play. c:

Hello! Some months ago, I came across a thread or announcement somewhere, that said Dollyhair was going to be getting a new shipment of hair, and would be bringing back old colours. Does anyone know when abouts this was supposed to happen? I need to get my hands on some GITD hair for a fursuit and a custom I'm going to be making, and have been watching the site for a while. Thanks!

Hey! I've recently decided that I'd like to start buying vinyls. I was just wondering if anyone else buys them, and if so, do you buy them online? What are reliable online stores that sell vinyls for decent prices? So far, amazon seems like my best (most reliable) bet, but they seem on the expensive side. Thanks in advance!

I got my axie!!! He is the cutest little baby in the whole wide world. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
there are a few more pictures on page 3. He is a leucistic, and has a small collection of freckles on his little nose. I still haven't names him, so if you'd like to help, just suggest a name! ^-^ hey all! I'm just wondering if there are any axolotl owners or fanciers on the arena. My parents have said that I might be able to own one in the near future, as long as I get and stay organized. I have been interested in owning one for about a year now, after somehow finding videos of them on youtube. I've been reading a lot about them online and find them fascinating (and super cute! ). So, does anyone here own an axolotl and could give me some tips on care and keeping of these awesome amphibians? Or does anyone else find them interesting?

Hello! I was just wondering if there would be any interest in a southern Oregon/ northern California pony meet some time this summer. I would love to meet up with other pony people that live in cities near by, and I think a pony meet would be the best way to do this! If any one is interested in attending or helping to organize a pony meet in So. Oregon, let me know!

Today, I came home from school to find an absolute mess in my room, bits of cardboard scattered everywhere! At first I thought it had come out of my garbage can, but no... My dog had pulled over my box of MOC ponies that I recently obtained, and had gone to town chewing on them! Two of them have the tops of the cards completely chewed off, and a couple others have some lesser damage. I am so mad right now, I almost started crying! UGH. My question is... What do I do with them? Obviously I can't sell them like this, and even I don't want a pony in a nearly destroyed package. Should I just de-card them? :c

Speed paints? I have made a couple speed-paints of my digital art in the past couple of days, because I feel like I have really improved and I felt like sharing my art. :p Does anyone else make speed paints? Or do you know of some really great ones you feel others should watch? I'd love to see them! Here is my most recent (finished today): http://youtu.be/GSC7sX8gTzwIf this belongs in the art forum, I'm sorry. It didn't seem like it quite belonged there, though. :p

Hello! I just got a G1 Chief that has some spots (possibly cancer, but looks more like rust spots) and I was wondering if someone could link me to a good tutorial on how to use hydrogen peroxide to fade the spots (if it will work on rust spots). It seems like everyone does it differently. Thanks a bunch!
