Heads up for everyone.  If you see any BIN item of mine on ebay that you would like to buy, I can give 10% off of the price, if you would rather do business through here at the Arena instead.  Just PM me.  I would accept paypal.

I am willing to debox new in box dolls to save you on shippingfor those of you who would debox them anyway.  Deboxing them would reduce the shipping price to about $3 or $4.  And it would reduce international shipping to $10.99 possibly, if the doll and packaging is less than 8 oz.  (just PM or email through ebay to get an exact quote for your country)  I could also include the backing of the box if anyone wants that as well.   (of course this offer is for the $30 range and under dolls.  Not rare dolls.  This offer would also Not apply to full size lalaloopsy dolls.  They weigh to much as it is, deboxing them would not really help the shipping price.)

~Here's a list of the collectibles I usually have for sale:
(take a look at my ebay link to see the exact ones I have listed.  And I always have other things for sale too that may not be listed below.) :

-Pullip dolls (display only, sometimes new in box, or new nude dolls)
-Pullip doll stock or other outfits (sometimes)
-Ai dolls, sometimes rare ones (display only)

-Monster High dolls (new in box, as well as out of box display only)
-Ever After High dolls (new in box, sometimes out of box display only)

Here is a bit of information about how I clean my G1 ponies:
I wash most of the G1s unless they look like all they need is a wipe down and some spot checks.  I never submerse my ponies under water. And I do Not remove their heads to clean inside. I scrub them with a antibacterial hand soap and condition their hair before I brush it out. I may use magic earaser to remove resilient spots. I usually do a simple hair styling unless it is a pony with ringlets. Leaving the hair to curl for about 2 or 3 days makes nice long lasting curls. (for ringlets its more like a week or longer) And I do Not use leave-in-conditioners, hair sprays, or moose in pony hair. I think it leaves it stiff or sticky to the touch.

So my cousin and I LOVE the animated film "The Last Unicorn".  And she had told me like 5 years ago that she had heard that they were remaking it.  She hadn't heard anything about it since so it seems like it must have been a rumor or did they just cancel it???  Had anyone else heard something about this?  Does anyone know if it was true?

I just happen to think about it all of the sudden and wondered.  I would love it if it was just still in the making or something.   :)

Wanted! / Looking for 2 Blue G4 Applejack Cowboy Hats
« on: February 01, 2012, 12:21:05 AM »
Wanting to make a couple customs that will require cowboy hats.  I want 2 blue Applejack hats (the ones that fit a regular size pony that comes with her in the barn playset).  If someone just has one hat, that will work too!   ;)   I can get the second one from someone else later.

Let me know if you would like $, then let me know your price and I can send you the money via paypal.  Or if you would like to trade for something, let me know of things you are looking for or give me a Wish list link of yours and I can see what I have to trade.  You can also check out my ponies on ebay right now to see if there is anything there you might want to trade for.  My ebay link is at the bottom of my signature.

I know the regular way would be to use another earth pony her size like Apple Bloom but there's not many of her to come by, unless shopping on ebay for extras or baits of her and I didn't want to do that so I thought of getting a couple of the Cheerilee play school pals sets.  I thought I would cut off the horn to Sweetie Belle and the wings on Scootaloo and then sand down the excess.  I'm wondering if anyone has done this?  And what you used to sand down the excess plastic?  Or if anyone has any other ideas I'd love to here them too!   :)

So way back when I got most of the wave 1 blind bags on ebay and spent way to much.  >_<   Anyway so I got some more blind bags when they got here and I had an international  Lily Blossom but got another one anyway and found that the US version is quite a bit darker than the more acurate international version.  Even the hair was painted in a darker yellow.  I like the international version WAY better.  So I was wondering if there are others differences like this that people have noticed?

I would like fizzypop more if she was darker like on her card.  I hadn't gotten her here in the US yet, but if she is darker I would get her.

A link to anything helpful would be great!      I already know Lyra(Heartstrings), Bon Bon, :muffin: Pony, and Dr. Whooves.  But have any others been named by FIM Fans?  I've been seeing some real pretty background characters lately so it made me wonder.  And if no one knows of a list does anyone know some names that are catching on?

I know of another site but I haven't been on it too much so I don't know my way around it yet.  And I thought that would be the place to look but I'm not finding anything like that.   Any help would be great!   :)

I was admiring my cute little G4's and thinking who my favorites are.  Then I wanted to hear everyone elses opinion!  And since there are so many versions, be sure to include which type of mold it is.... blind bag regular brushable size, fashion style size...  Or even if you like playsets more which playsets...  And try not to include ponies that aren't out yet like Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor.  Because I know they are probably at the top of everyones list right now.  I know they are on mine!!

And I know people can have MANY favorites!      But if you had to put them in order, which ones would be at the very top?  and feel free to show some pics off!   ;)

These are my favorites so far:

Pony Corral / Lets see Pics of Everyone's Paradise Estate Colections! : )
« on: January 28, 2012, 01:56:11 PM »
A year ago I almost had decided to try and get the Paradise Estate playset.  I even bought a lot with a whole bunch of furniture in it.  Then I was going to get the estate.  And while I was waiting for one to pop up for sale or bids, I started to wonder, "Where am I going to put it?"  As big as I figured it was going to be I thought I beter not get it since I would probably have to have a free table to put it on.  So I've been getting the itch to get one again and I was wondering how much room it really takes up?  Plus I really want to see some pics!      I've never seen pics of one with furniture in it, all set up.

I love newborn twins and baby ponies!  However I only just became so crazy about them about 3 years ago.  I think I came down with baby pony fever since I had my 2 little ones.  I have a 2 and 1/2 year old daughter and a 1 year old son.  And I seemed to love the baby ponies way more once I became pregnant and all the sudden wanted to increase my baby pony collection.  And when I found out I was pregnant with a boy the second time around I found myself excitedly trying to get all the boy ponies and any pony that looked like a boy!  LOL!  So when the  FiM show "Baby Cakes" came out I loved it!!  I even had to make  Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake customs!  (you can see them on the customs page if you want.  they are for sale)
So Has anypony else had a case of baby pony fever?  And share your baby pony collections!  Here's one of my baby pony displays:

Arts & Crafts Corral / Wooden Horse (carved) on carousel pole
« on: January 25, 2012, 07:20:42 PM »
Wanted to show everypony my horse I did in one of my college art classes about 5 years ago.  We had to make something out of dowel rods (hope I'm spelling that right).  The long wooden poles that you can buy in the crafts section or a hardware store.  Anyway they are long skinny pieces of wood.  We were assigned to use just dowl rods to make anything we wanted and some reason I got the crazy idea that I wanted to make a MLP with them. :lookround:   Bad idea!  It was way more challenging than I thought it would be!  >_<  But I figured out how to shave some wood off here and some off there and ta-da!  the front leg joints were Really Hard!  There were multiple pieces that I had to glue together for the finished product.  So with out the paint it looked wierd because the wood lines were all crazy and I had to use wood putty to fill in a few spots.  So I spray painted it with a texture paint but didn't like it much so I sprayed red glitter spray over that. And then I drilled a bunch of holes for where I would put the pipe cleaners for the hair.  And added the carrousel pole and base.  My MLP had turned into a horse.  I couldn't find dowl rods fat enough to make the pony look more plump like a MLP.  I still like how it turned out though!

Customs / FiM Black Unicorn Soldier Pony & NightMare Moon
« on: January 25, 2012, 06:25:51 PM »
Here is my finally finished Nightmare Moon. Ha! I started work on her like 6 to 8 months ago. LOL! Anyway I thought she came out pretty good. I extended her horn, wings, and the top of her boots with sculpey. And her nose guard and chest necklace are made with sculpey too. On her hair and cutie mark I used metalic paint to give that shimmer to it. The colors in her eyes I used shimmery paint too.

And here is an army pony I did a few years ago.  I used a Tootsie base if you can tell.  I put him in BDUs (green camo uniform- BDU stands for Battle -something- Uniform, I can't remember anymore) instead of DCUs or ACUs because I like the look of the BDUs better.  And my husband was in the Big Red One when we were over in Germany a long time ago so I coppied his big red one patch for the other side.  His patches, collar, cuffs, hairy feet, and army boots are all done in sculpey.  Then I painted him in acrylics and sealed with modpodge.  And of course I gave him a high and tight hair cut!  :D

And this is my work in progress. I started him about 5 months ago also. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
This guy is going to be one of the soldiers from the begining theme song opening of the cartoon Friendship is Magic. Don't know how many people have noticed him. Two Black unicorn soldiers (instead of the white pegasus soldiers that you see in the episodes) guard Princess Celestia when she gets the picture of the main 6 ponies at the end of the song. I also want to make one of the pegasus soldiers as well.
Anyway he still has a long way to go. I sculpted his saddle and boots of sculpey. I am going to have to use a different clay for his helmet since his hair will be in it. I am going to redo his eyes also. So I am curious does anypony know which pony this guy is? Has anypony noticed him in the song?

Customs / FIM Pound Cake & Pumpkin Cake Newborn Twin Customs
« on: January 25, 2012, 12:50:29 AM »
As most of you know Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake are the Newborn Twins on one of the more recent FIM shows! I just Love newborn twins so when I saw them on the show I jumped at the chance to make them! Pound Cake is a baby pegasus and Pumpkin Cake is a baby unicorn. They are only about 1 3/4 inches tall! They are the correct size for display with the regular sized G4 MLPs! They were hand sculpted with paperclay that I found at Hobby Lobby. I actually liked it quite a bit. It is alot lighter than the other clays we use but it is still just as sturdy. Then I painted them with acrylic paints and sealed them with 2 layers of matte finish modpodge. Let me know what y'all think! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Introductions / Hi Y'all, from Texas!
« on: January 21, 2012, 06:36:19 PM »
Hi to everyone here at the arena!  I have been a member at the TP for a little while and have been meaning to join here also, so Hi!  My username at the TP is the same as here.  My name is Rachel and I am 27 and live in Temple, TX.  Its an hour from Austin and even closer to Kileen.  I am a stay at home mom right now.  I have a 2 and a half year old daughter named Chloe and a 1 year old son named Andrew.  And my hubby of 4 years, Norman.  My family is my life but I also love pony collecting, obviously, and animals and art.  My previous jobs have been at animal hospitals as a vet. tech. and a humane society, and the toy department of walmart.  All of them I enjoyed because they all have to do with my hobbies.  ;)   "If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life."  I have an Associates of arts degree from Temple college and I wanted to get a bachlors too but I could never figure out what kind I wanted to go for.  I might still get one once our kids are in school. :)
I have been seriously collecting ponies for about 10 years.  Of course I  had some when I was a little girl!  They were MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TOY!  I had one of the little MLP carrying barns for a carrying case but once it was full my mother didn't think I needed any more ponies.  :(   She liked baby dolls so she liked to get me dolls but I didn't play with dolls much.  I always played with animal toys.  I even got my 3 boy cousins to play ponies with me every time we would visit them!!    Anyway, when the MLP TV show season collection came out in the DVD set.  I was like oh I used to love MLP so I got it so I could watch them again.  After I watched them I wanted to find my old ponies and couldn't find them so I looked on ebay to see if they sold there.  And I created a monster!  I started collecting just G1 at first.  I have gotten my hands on most of the G1 ponies (not including international) except some of the more rare ones and a few sets that I don't really care to collect.  I never really liked the G2 ponies.  Hasbro messed up there I think.  They reminded me of generics and when they first came out I really didn't believe they were actual MLPs.  I wasn't crazy about the 3.5's either.  Then I loved the G3 set when they came out so I collected nearly all of them also.  I say that in past tense because I have had to slim my herd A LOT over the last 4 years.  I don't like having to store them in boxes if I don't have room and I like to view them all so I started slimming the ones that I wasn't to crazy about.  I have my collections on very large wooden CD racks so it saves alot of space and it only sticks out about 4 inches from the wall so its like a 3D picture of colorful ponies!   I also love the new G4 ponies!  And love the Hub TV show FIM as well!
I also love to do custom ponies!  Though I have a bad habbit of starting projects and pausing them for quite a while until I finish them finally monthes later!  Some are still unfinished.  I love to come up with ideas for customs though.  I have a drawing book full of them.  I actually had to get new one recently because I filled the other one.  I am currently working on Pound Cake and Pumpkin cake from the more recent FIM show.  I LOVE newborn twins!  I plan to post and sell the first set I make on ebay.  They came out good I think.  I just have to paint them.  I'll post pics in a couple of days and y'all can let me know what you think!  Hope to see yall around the arena!
