I really want to be my own boss. I do knit, crafts, pony items, toys, pageant coaching and more I am sure. I really want to just be my own boss and work for myself.
I know time will be a factor. I really need to create a plan for myself. I know what I need to consistently make a week/month/day to be my own boss. It is a matter on how to get there.
Anyone here, their own boss? Make a living off the things you make and do?
Online presence is a huge start, but what to start with. I will currently look into a facebook page to start. I have my work email set up too. Business cards too. I cant do paid sites yet as I dont make the income to warrant that step.
Let me know your thoughts and struggles. I do hope to do craft fairs and such. I just need to have an inventory to star with.
Thanks for your help. I know being my own boss will just make me happier in the long run.

I just can't stay away from Healthy Pony. I love Healthy Pony as it did so much for others growth...in my progress I failed to look at my own growth. I lost sight on the main reason I do Healthy Pony. I WANT TO BE A HEALTHY PONY!   So as the host of this I ask for only a few things. 1. Have fun and be positive. You choose to do this for you, and all you can do is your best.  2. Be positive towards others, and honesty is a great policy. If you feel it needs to be said go for!  I can not count the many times someone was honest with me, and I was helped by it:) 3. Have fun. Let's create a forum of fun and friendship. On to Healthy Pony!!! I have seen many researches that state, it takes 21 days to make a habit. So pick a habit you want and see if you can do it for 21 days! If you make it GREAT!!! If not just think what you can accomplish for trying! We officially start July 1st and go to September 30. About 90 days. You can start early, or at anytime!!! To START: What is your 21 day habit? Just post your progress along the way! Oh and for fun. If anyone completes their 21 day challenge, has to show in posts, I will send them a pair of wings or knitted item. *Their choice! CG sign up. As Lilly swam through the jewel encrusted pathway to the pool she noticed her subjects standing on the sidelines staring at her as she moved forward. Finally she saw Sea Poppy at the edge of the pool guarding the missing crown. Lilly's head began to spin. Becoming queen meant that she would have many more responsibilities, but with those came far greater opportunities. Hundreds gathered in the royal hall to observe and celebrate their new ruler. At the front, Princess Blue Mist stood proudly, showing her golden leaf crown that she had been awarded. Dream Blue had asked for her favourite band to appear and perform, her request was honoured, and the six members proudly watched and cheered her on. It was now time for her first words as a Queen. With her shining gold crown and precious royal heirlooms, she took a deep breath and proclaimed “It is an honour to be crowned queen of ponyville. I am certain that there will be many more days and events dedicated to me, so I declare that this day become a public holiday, for all those in this kingdom to rejoice and celebrate each other, not just myself”. Spike can work with a different pony through the year and we can have a new ruler each season!" "I think that's a fantastic idea, Minty." Wysteria said. Who should be Queen? Let’s find out! The Theme Adventure Queen! Your queen is off on an adventure. Is she going to the seas, or climbing the mountains, exploring the fiery gulch...or off to grandmothers house:) where is this queen off to? This can be a solo or a group shot. I'm happy you came out this way!" he told Minty. She promised that Ponyville and the Dragonlands should try to build a better, more friendly relationship and that she would tell her kingdom about her discovery! Yes, there was no doubt about it, the turquoise fabric monolith was unmistakably a backpack. But it was to be expected in this place, as were the immense planks that made up the ground. Once upon a time, a small (relatively speaking) village of giants had stood here, screened from weather and unwelcome visitors by magic. But this was ultimately their undoing, for it meant that when a great fire broke out they were also veiled from friendly eyes who might have quenched the blaze. The survivors resettled elsewhere, leaving their former home to slowly decay. Now, the ruins were mostly inhabited by brigands, other criminals, and fell beasts who took advantage of the half-faded concealment spells to elude pursuers and prey on unwary travelers. Some decades ago a Ponyland caravan, forced to detour into the ruins by heavy snowfall, had fallen prey to one of the monsters and the treasures it carried now adorned the fiend's nest. It was these treasures Rosedust had come to retrieve. She did not fear the danger, for she was dangerous herself and had chosen her companions well. Honeysuckle and Forget-Me-Not, two of the finest warriors among her Flutter Ponies. Megan, the adolescent human who had proved a stalwart ally of ponykind and who bore the Rainbow of Light about her neck, and her Earth Pony companion Sundance. Megan's sister Molly, and Sundance's mirror-born daughter Baby Sundance - both were young, but tough and brave all the same. And finally, Rodimus Prime - a leader and warrior from an alien race with mechanical bodies, who was helping the ponies out until he could return to his own time and universe. Rosedust “ choose your name now, and for ever be called once I show you this hidden secret” The purple pony thought long and hard...”Shimmer” she whispered “like the wings of a dragon fly” Rosedust “we’ll follow me Grounded” sadly the purple pony followed Rosedust through the dark. She could only see from the glow of the rainbow wings...they came to an opening and a familiar look came before her....dark and purple and bubbling like gargling drooled mouth....Smooze!!! “No you can’t” the purple pony cried. “I am sorry I ripped your wings so many time, I am sorry I am sorry...” Rosedust did not listened and kicked the purple pony into the purple goo with a giggle. Pain pierced the back of the purple pony as she fought to the surface. As she emerged she flew from the purple goo that sparkled like a radiant jewel. “It hurts to grow wings, Sparkle” Rosedust Smiled “ but now you just have to be apart of the light...soon they were all surrounded by other flutter ponies with brand new wings!! Due to this, the pizzas usually don’t look as they once did, often with several large chunks of mould growing on them. She claims it adds to the flavour, but I’m not so sure! Minty didn't see any problem with her outfit choice and refused to change. "I'm queen of socks! Of course I need to wear my socks!" Minty exclaimed. Desperate, Spike called upon Wysteria, former princess of Ponyville. "Please help me out here! Minty is going to go out and make and utter fool of herself if she dresses herself! Maybe since you're friends she'll listen to you!" Wysteria tried to gently recommend some other....subtler outfits, but alas, their efforts failed. Minty has a style all her own that can't be contained. It was warm, the bright light of spring touched her face and her full power returned. The light flooded on to her body and washed the muck and sorry from her body. She was renewed and her wings returned stronger and more beautiful than ever. This time no one will stop her flight...suddly a soft wall closed it. It was dark and breathing. She rushed to the light out and was stopped by her capture. “It’s not fair she cried. It’s not fair...sniff.” The chapter spoke as tears flooded her eyes. Rosedust was about to speak but was interrupted. “You casted this great beast away from our land. You blamed this fuzzy one on the loss of wings in flutter valley. You even casted me out when my wings were taken away. It was not this fuzzy creature...it was sadness. I wanted you to see it. Darkness and sadness takes are wings.” Rosedust hung her head down in shame. Spring Song offered to give Moonstone a free hairstyle at the Perm Shoppe, and Moonstone went, thinking nothing of it. When they arrived, Moonstone was confronted by the sisters. They explained to her that Moonstone must get a complete makeover, or the beautiful sisters would take her place and rule the kingdom, enforcing that anyone not deemed beautiful enough shall be banished, including Moonstone. She had previously lamented to Triquine Fluttershy. Fluttershy had simply shot down her complaints. "She has the personality of a good leader. She is kind. I don't know why you changed since you arrived, but it's not too late to consider yourself an ally. Perhaps she will give you leadership of one sector?" All this pleading earned was a flashy flouncing and murmurs of treason. I was only taking back what should have rightfully been mine!" Although Minty is saddened by this attempted robbery, she has not taken any official action against Pinkie Pie. Instead, she is now searching for some trusted friends to act as guards through the night. She knows Pinkie is likely not the only pony in the kingdom who feels the crown should have been hers. As of late healthy pony has not been successful in my opinion. I see a lot of great things from doing healthy pony. The aid it has given me and others is amazing, but participating is a bit lacking.
So I do want some ideas.
I was thinking of just hosting a month at a time.
What would help you post?
Maybe it's not fun anymore, and just stop.
I would like any insight I can gain.
If you think you could host better, go for it:) i would you support you each step of the way:)

Does anyone sell crafts at shows? Your hand made items at a booth? I know some do this with ponies, but I want to start doing shows with my knitting and other crafts. My dream is to makmake a living off my projects. I do on line sales, but some items are way too big. Or even heavy.
I could use some advice. I am not talking jump ship now, but things to be aware of. Things to have prepared.
I have been floundering with this idea for years....looking to do some flea markets, or craft shows. I like to plan. So I start looking at all options:)

Healthy Pony started with an amazing pony, Sourdough Stomper. She inspired so many to take a step forward and become the healthiest pony they could be. When she decided she could not continue with the update of Healthy Pony, I stepped up and lead the way. I have accomplished so much due to Sourdough Stomper’s inspiration. I carry on Healthy Pony because of what I could achieve, and want to share that with all of you.
So here is the start of a new year, time for the new you. It’s time to create the plan and reward. Like many, I need to put a fire under my butt to keep me going. I and those joining us today will be that torch.
We start February 1st and end April 30th. It is about 90 days to make your path to a healthy pony. Like all of my rounds you can start TODAY!!!
Here is how you sign up.
1. What do you plan to accomplish in your 90 days/Healthy Pony.
2. What are your steps to reach that accomplishment?
3. How will you reward yourself?
*the reward can be anything from enjoying a special treat like ice cream, or getting a pony, or even putting on a dress you didn’t know you could fit into. No being hard on yourself, you should get a reward for trying.
** healthy pony is not just for weight loss. It’s steps to a better you. Maybe you want to organize your room, that’s being Healthy, saving money, that is healthy, getting more social, is all about a happier you:)

I have 15 items I want to accomplish in the year of 2019. If I broke them down they have a simple components.
A. Daily Activity
B. Daily Piano Playing
C. Daily Knitting
2. What are your steps to reach these accomplishments.
I shall give myself 1 point for each time I do A, B, and C. 2 points for B, since I have a harder time doing this. So in one day, I can get 4 points. 4 x 90 = 360 points.
3. How will you reward yourself?
If I reach 90 points, I can reward myself. Not sure with what, but when I get closer to 90 I will start thinking about it.
