Okay, so even *I* have a weakness for cute things.  I was wandering through TRU, when suddenly I realized that baby G4s remind me of Newborn Twins for G3s.  AGH!  Slippery slope, slippery slope!
 
Before I knew it, my husband was putting them in the basket and checking out. 
 
So I now have Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo.  Okay, and Cheerilee as well. 
 
Are these the ONLY G4 babies currently available?
 
They are now on my laptop, staring, reminding me what I have done...

Did you watch the animated My Little Pony TV shows/movies of the 1980's-2010's?  Did it have an influence of any kind on your collecting? 
Consider "collecting" to be when you made the decision to worry about value, condition, and display potential...  regardless of age.
Please explain more in a reply if you have a different answer than the four I came up with!

I'm probably a "B".  I didn't have steady access to TV so I didn't usually see the show.  To compound this, it started as I was leaving for preschool/kindergarten.  It was one of the few shows I was allowed to watch when we DID own a TV (30% of the time), as my reading time dropped significantly with a TV in the house.   
 
And you?

So I had some friends come over to my house yesterday for the first time.  I was nervous... I mean, there are ponies everywhere and manga and all of the collections...  very overwhelming to have people see it. 
 
You know what they said about my pony room?  They said, "It even smells like....  like...  um..." to which I suggested, "pony?", and they agreed, "Yeah!  It smells like pony in here!"
 
Obviously they don't understand what an amazing compliment that is but OMG.  That is like an epic compliment. 
 
Heh.  I knew only you guys would understand.
