Hi there, I really like Twinkle-Eyed ponies except the twinkle eyes and I know they weren't born with them a wizard put them there. I also love G4 poses so I am thinking of commissioning someone to make me a set of 9 G1 to G4 NTE. If you have made or own some of these already and have photos could I see them please? I woul dlove my NTE ponies to have hair as similar as possible to the G1's. I am having trouble getting some ponies with glitter symbols particularly Year 3/4 unicorns and rainbows. So I thought I could try to get a US swap buddy for a private wishlist swap. I'm thinking we should specify condition and have a cap on the spend as well. Would be good to find a relative novice collector like me as these are all fairly common ponies just getting rarer for sale it seems. I could find UK/Euro ponies for them and post all together to save shipping. We could give it a long deadline so we have plenty of time and can confer, maybe even on individual items. Any takers, PM!

Hi there, I've been experimenting with hairstyles again so I thought I'd post a photo of Galaxy with her new hair do. She still needs a lot of work and has an interesting regrind problem  but hopefully her new do will make her feel better. I'm quite pleased with how this plait came out. I have found a trick to secure a 'do like this - cotton wrapped around and ends sewn in with a needle (hair wrap) as it is more secure and you can tie a ribbon on top, without losing the style. However, it can be pulled out easily. I also like hair wraps because they look like hair bands 'to scale'. Hi ladies, I've been working on a wind whistler who arrived with a bog inside her... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe was stained almost grey visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd here she is now... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI curled her tail so the unevenness of the remaining colour looks less obvious... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt isn't the correct shade of fading pink due to the staining, more of a peach (see Posey for comparison) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBut I still think she's a really enjoyable pony. Especially for 99p!

Club Tropicana is a private members club with a gym and dance studio, swimming pool and a bar on the beach! It is a shrine to bright colours and all things G1 and 80's  Please could I see your Tootie Tails or any other ponies you think might have a drink with Shady at Club Tropicana? I don't have that many ponies and don't have any of the Tropical or Sunshine ponies and I'd love to see them. Please fuel my new addiction to bright ponies =) Would be great to see any camp or very 80's outfits like Flashprance or any other images you like to add to the mood board! So I was planning to sell Shady due to severe pindot and regrind on one leg. I'm not her biggest fan so I wasn't planning to upgrade her either. Hi there, I have some sad ponies in various states of disrepair. They have all been soaked in warm water and Savlon to disinfect, be-headed, scrubbed with dish soap then toothpaste, shampooed and conditioned and dried carefully before being chucked in a box because I feel I can't do anything with them. So all the heads are loose - I can check neck plugs if you like but all are serviceable and definitely look fine from the outside.
Cherries Jubilee - No forelock, a few tiny, light black biro marks to flank, some light symbol rub but kinda the same on both sides so may be a factory variation. Everything else is nice. Could save tail and re-hair?
Bowtie has a dodgy looking spot that I have treated (can give details) but doesn't look like cancer; a little biro and no hair
NSS Shady - Mane and tail OK, still curly but dry. Pindot and regrind on lower legs. Plus I don't like her much so I haven't tried all that hard to remove the pindot.
With cancer or possible cancers spots (stored separately):
Peachy - a few cancer spots, a frizzy mane and no tail.
Majesty - I took some plastic away from under her mane to analyse a cancer spot so it appears scraped. She has a few other cancer spots, rust inside and no tail. Could be a horn donor or full re-paint candidate
Starshine - Symbols all but gone, white colour has tanned, quite a few cancer spots. However the tail is still lovely and the wings have no cancer. Could be a tail or wing donor or a re-paint candidate.
My wishlist is in my sig, feel free to make me an offer. I will have to consider the cost of postage so please don't be offended if I decline based on where you live.
P.S. If no interest I shall Ebay them on Sunday!

Does anyone want to swap an adult Dark Green (Gusty) tail for an adult Sea Green (Medley, Seashell) tail? It's the last thing I need to finish my Seashell project! She already looks sooo much prettier! Also I have some G1 cancer/drastic hair-cut/biro.not sure what the hell happened victims that I just don't need or want... so please PM me if you're interested.

It just hasn't stuck anything, the two parts just peel off each other with the absolute minimum force. Could I be using it wrong? I need a glue to stick a head to a body where if you pick the pony up by head alone the neckline gapes due to a damaged neck seal. Its ripped more than half the way round, otherwise the pony is mint it's most annoying. An ebay disaster. Anyhoo can anyone recommend a better glue that's closer to the Hasbro original glue? I've tried E-6000 as well with even worse results it simply doesn't stick pony vinyl. I'd be so grateful for your secrets on this one!

They hover like bumble bees asking me loads of questions about them and cooing and going awww... I never thought anyone else would be interested in my hobby but I think they all want one of their own! Or maybe they are just being kind and supporting me in the only thing I am interested in at the moment =) Anyway I reckon I won't be able to get any on ebay till given away about 5. It's actually nice to give away ponies with flaws to non-collectors because they don't seem to notice the odd scuff or trimmed tail and they really appreciate them. I think both my other host sisters will want one and I think my real sister as well . So one Sunlight has already gone to my host father who's in his 60's, and I just pledged a Cherrie's Jubilee to my host sister. My host mother is still staunchly disinterested but I think I need to get hold of a Gusty for when she cracks

Hi all, I've noticed that Cherry Sweet, Sweetheart and Music time all have thinner silkier hair than the Hong Kong ponies and a long forelock. My first instinct is to plait or twist the forelock and secure it, this works quite well but I don't want them all to look the same! Can anyone confirm that the hair definitely is different  (more like ordinary dolly hair so I hope they aren't custom/restores!) and if so any tips on styling? Many thank yous!

One of our favorite games when we were a kids was to set up barrel racing/gymkhana or 'cross country' courses in the garden and time each other.
It occurred to me that the above playsets have different colour themes (pink, red, lilac) and if you include the green or turquoise fences there's quite a lot of variety in jumps. I'm also thinking of making some bits and pieces for jumps like some striped bars. I may also make flags and real ribbon rosettes. There's something about Lemon Drop's favorite jump being a lily pond I thought it would be really nice to imagine a gymkhana course in a meadow with a lily pond.
Has anyone else made a nice set of jumps? I'd love to see pics for some inspiration!
