So... I grabbed MH Rochelle on impulse about a month ago. Haven't been inspired to do much with her... clothing patterns seem daunting and I don't have much sewing time anyway. Didn't like any of the fashion packs I kept seeing.
One day my husband and I went to a different TRU - they had Spectra's fashion pack and LOTS of dolls. Spectra's chain dress looks awesome on Rochelle! And somehow, Skull Shores Lagoona came home with me. She's still in her box, though, as I've always wanted a Lagoona but now that I have her, I am kind of clueless as to WHAT to do with her.
I don't really get all excited about dressing them up and taking photos of them like I thought I would. Now they are both sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Ideas, anyone?

So I went to the States to visit family for a week. While I was there, I hunted in every store we passed for the few G4s I want to collect - blue unicorns, yellow ponies, Zecora and the babies. Since they haven't made more brushable yellow ponies aside from Applejack and Fluttershy, and I have all the babies currently... I was on the hunt for blue unicorns! Now I just hope Zecora comes to Canadian TRU! I'm also hoping that Lemon Treats becomes a brushable. Found Dewdrop Dazzle and Snowcatcher: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd just for fun, I grabbed two Blind Bags... ended up with Fizzypop and Pinkie Pie: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWish they weren't in the same pose, though... it looks so boring when they're lined up!

One of my favorite parts of collecting is the re-arranging and finding new ways to display my ponies. Here is what my latest creation looks like: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy Merry-Go-Rounds, Sparkles, Glow n' Shows, Sundae Bests, Baby Brothers, last set of winter G3s, Tropicals, and my Filly Princess and Dollymix. and a WIP of my G1 playsets... ignore poor Butterscotch who has fallen over... visitors can't see pics , please register or login I have to fill in the Lullabye Nursery with the accessories I have left, and then start putting baby ponies in it, as well as the Baby Bonnet School of Dance. I only have a few things for the stable but I'm likely to put the collector's pose ponies there - the door over their heads will keep them from falling over. *Crosses hooves* Then I will have a long high shelf above a window where I can put all my flutters, wingers, and other special ponies I don't want messed up. Maybe do a row of Mommy/Baby ponies up there... I now have two giant re-usable shopping bags full of ponies who need new places to stand. Wooohooo! This should only take me a few days... hehehe. So, what do you all think?

I asked my husband if we could go to Superstore... he looked at me like I was nuts (because normally you couldn't pay me to be within 50 yards of the place). But since it's the only place Star Dreams has been spotted... I FOUND HER! There was only one, though, and the poor thing had obviously hit the floor when they were stocking - looks like it got caught under a handcart or a pallet. The whole front of the box was scuffed up so much you could hardly see the ponies. Good thing I don't collect MIB! What makes me laugh is that Hasbro couldn't include a BRUSH with BRUSHABLE ponies but they make a big deal that they have included a "Paper Table" for the TV accessory to sit on. Seriously. PAPER TABLE. No brush. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? My Star Dreams has Dolly Parton hair right out of the box - POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Here is the latest offering on our local sales site, and I quote the seller's ad verbatim: "I have TWO my little pony Thistle Whistle ponies up for sale. Both of these girls are the RARE Sunny Scents version (smells like coconut), and are both still brand new in their original package. I am asking $30 per pony."  Really? Only $30 apiece?

Sooooo... look what turned up on Kijiji recently: visitors can't see pics , please register or login Wasn't able to get the second bag but here is what was in the one on the left: stripes nectar baby snookums Baby fifi bunny suit baby pony wear overalls with polka dot blouse baby pony wear foamy and float surf rider's float baby bottle some shoes g3 sunny daze Everything is in near mint condition - Baby Fifi has some cancer/age spots and a haircut but she's the worst. Nectar has a hole in his mouth (obviously a child pushed a bottle into his mouth) but oh well. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *runs around screaming excitedly*

Just curious if anyone else reads this book series by Diana Gabaldon. I'm only on the third book (Voyager) but I am giddy with curiousity to "finish" them - there was a new one last year so I don't think the author is done yet, LOL. My husband refuses to find anything good in them as he dreads historical fiction (okay maybe the fact that she took part of our clan's lineage and went make-believe with them is the primary reason). So I have nobody to share the excitement with!  Soooo anyone else love reading about Jamie Fraser and Claire? :-p

Don't think I have ever shown this off before... My First Quilt - of course it was MLP! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt's twin-sized... took about a year. I had a family member do the top but the piecing and design are mine.
