So, I'm not very good at customs. I finally just broke down and bought an airbrush and sculpting tools for the clay that I use... lol, so... anyway... these are made without that, crappy paint probably, and just, kinda using my hands... I just wanted to share the customs I've made for my parents. Mom: The first is inspired by the Breast Cancer Awareness pony that I have no hopes of being able to buy ever, lol - so I made one for my mom. She has gold medals around her neck each with 5yr cancer-free marks - so she's wearing 5, 10 and 15, and there's a little baggie with the 20 in it for when she makes it to 20. Hey! The title rhymes... Well, I finally finished my first EVER deflocking of a pony... Wind Whistler! (Yeah yeah I know she has a NSS counterpart, but she was soooo baity, I had to!) And then, I realized after reading some threads about re-pinking hair, that I actually HAD the right color dye already... and so, because my poor Wind Whistler had terrible fading (but a BRIGHT PINK top of her tail, really annoying!) I decided to repink her as well. I figured... why not, she's my custom... So here she is!! Well I just wanted to share my excitement over my pony Christmas this year... My crowning glory was this: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFRILLY FROCKS!!! So stoked to have her, she's amazing!! So soft and so clean and so BIG! And here's a shot of my entire pony haul this Christmas: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy Rainbow Dash hoodie and Frilly Frocks in the back FS Luna, Sparkle magazine (has some pony coloring pages and comics in it), the flat G4 Christmas ornaments, Crystal Motion TS, RD and AJ, and a hardcover G4 book with suction-cup ponies in it... Then an unused G1 Glory paper tablecloth, and a Hide 'n Sleep play tent in the box (I need to photograph the tent itself, the colors on it are SO vibrant!), and a G3 hardcover book with one of those magnetic writing boards... Wave 6 RD, Wave 5 Fluttershy BB's, then a whole slew of G1s including DnP Player, DnP DJ, Tex, Coco Berry, Cloud Dreamer, MGR Tassles, SS Angel, CF Blossom, Windy, Retro Sunlight, Starflower, Moonstone, Baby Noddins.. I also got Sea Mist's purple conch shell and a baby sea pony float... as well as a replacement A-jump for my Show Stable And my three new Nirvana ponies - Peru AJ, NC Mommy Apple Delight and NC Posey (a surprise gift!! OMG!) Some loose BB's - Rainbow Flash and her accessories, Princess Cadance... the RD necklace and fluttershy lanyard from HT. PHEW! Yes, a super massive mega pony Christmas for me. Just had to share! I hope you all had a wonderful pony christmas too!

Hi all, so I've searched through the forums and read old posts pertaining to the G3 giant plushies, but I'm a bit confused... can anyone clear some things up for me?
Frilly Frocks was the only giant plushie released in the US correct?
Which other plushies, released in Australia/NZ, were AS BIG AS Frilly Frocks?
Who is the BIGGEST plushie?
What are the plushies that are "Pajama plushies" - how big are there, what characters, are they floppy like pillows or standing like Frilly Frocks?
Sorry I'm trying to figure out which plushies came in what sizes, etc... I'm very confused after trying to look online for this info, but maybe I've missed a page somewhere that clearly lays this out... I know the Wiki doesn't have much on Frilly Frocks or her large companions...

Okay... I have a problem sometimes decided which of two ponies are in better condition if they're relatively similar, and it's not obvious... but they have different problems... so I was hoping to lay out a couple scenarios and see which pony (just from words, these are hypothetical, so I have no photos) you would pick of the two? NEW EDIT:
I have two serious questions about choice between ponies, and these are not hypothetical. I've added pics now - please ignore their wet hair...
1) Posey: (forgot to take a side by side shot of them...)
Posey #1: BRIGHT pink hair, BRIGHT pink flowers. One of the flowers on NDS is rubbed pretty good, and on DS she has a bright orange mark, maybe 0.5", pretty noticeable. I can style her hair over it, but it's "iffy". One dot of what looks to be pony cancer under her chin, just a pen dot size. Opened her up, doesn't look to have any grime inside but she was wet, also no tail rust seen... Has a big scuff on front "toe" mostly on bottom, also noticed a scuff on her lip:

Posey #2: Still very pink hair, not as pink as #1. Pink flowers, much less pink than #1 (and #1 is not magenta. Her flowers are HOT PINK, this ones are rose pink). No major issues, but has faint orange marks on body kinda all over. Much less noticeable than the single orange dot on Posey #1 but there are many more of them. Symbols aren't rubbed as much on this one either:

2) Starflower (Side by Side Shot,SF #1 = Left, SF #2 = Right)

Starflower #1: BRIGHT blue body. Stars don't have a LOT of "rust" around them, just a very faint hint. Most of the stars are in tact, but glitter is sparse on some, and one of the symbols on NDS has a lot of glitter "around" it in specks. Has some yellow discoloration on neck where the yellow hair goes into the mane, has some other yellowing discoloration on body, on DS shoulder/chest and under tail:

Starflower #2: Blue body, but very different (faded) color versus #1. Stars are bigger, seem to have better coloration and less "rust" around them. Everything else is exactly the same color, eye shade, hair colors, but body is definitely a lighter more teal color. Overall symbols look better, has a little knick/indentation in DS side:

Can you guys suggest which one you might personally keep in your collection? I just have trouble with some of these small details and what's worth more on a pony versus something else...

So I know it's the holidays and everything, and the post might be slow due to increased mailings of things... but I've been waiting for a package from an eBayer since like... the 10th... and the estimated arrival dates were between 12/11 - 12/17... I messaged them on eBay but they haven't responded, and again, I know it's the holidays and some people are "signing off" for a while and stuff... but...
How long should I wait before I open a case about not receiving my items? I definitely could use the money back if I was getting scammed and I have no issue just going through the waiting period to get the money back (I'm sure eBay will also get no response from the seller, which usually makes it pretty quick)... I just don't want to be a "jerk" and open a case on them over the holidays, but I feel like as a seller they have a responsibility to make sure their items get to their buyers, regardless of the holidays (their own fault for listing something during this time...)

Hey all... so I just have a quick question trying to properly identify a baby accessory that I have. It's a G1 baby rattle... I believe it is the "large" rattle (for normal babies) not the smaller ones that came with the twins sets. I don't have a photo of it yet, but it looks exactly like the one that came with Cuddles Baby Buggy... I just have kind of a general question... if you have a pony and you replace something like a tail, with the correct colors of actual pony hair... how much value difference from one with an original tail would we be talking about?
The pony I have who has a replaced tail is a Happy Glow... in pretty good shape otherwise... tail is extra long because the replacement hair wasn't cut.
Any ideas on how to value her?

Well I hardly ever post photos in the brag arena... but I love seeing other people's finds and such... so, I've got a lot of recent additions to my herd, and instead of just taking a picture of them with their respective groups and put them away, I decided to take one big photo and brag a little! Then, the bed that came with the Surprise Twins Mommy (UK), and Teeny Tiny Twin Sniffles... Or is this Snookums, lol, well, she's the last TTT I needed! Can't wait to reunite her with her sisters! Next to her is Italian Minty, who's been through the salon and is looking mighty beautiful! G2 Magic Motion Moon Shadow and G3 Pink Sunsparkle (with her awesome crown that was sent to me by Pinkie hehe - so adorable) are joining my later gen herds. In the front I have my first three Breezies, and one of them I found at a flea market... Then some new BB's, GID Rarity (wave 3) and some set exclusives: Dainty Daisy, Pick A Lily and Seascape. Hey all! I have a few questions for all the experts in this forum.  I want to say that even though I've been collecting for... well, I've had ponies since the mid-80s and probably started hardcore collecting in the mid-90s... and I've never gotten into variants/nirvanas. I mean, I'm INTO them, as in I've always wanted them... but they always seem to elude me... First... is there a difference between a variant and a nirvana? I guess I had always associated the word nirvana with the ponies who like, never ever came out in the US or UK, meaning they had a different color scheme or symbol or pose or are just completely a different pony or whatever, and then variant to me would mean like... Italian ponies that were released in the US or UK but made in Italy... Is that right? Or do both terms mean the same? Or am I completely off on both accounts? (Please educate me, sorry about being so dumb!) So, I just found the newest three pony sets - like the blind bags - this time it's Rarity with Photo Finish and Hoity Toity, Applejack with Diamond Tiara and Applebloom, and Pinkie with Zecora and the spa pony, Lotus Blossom...
So, then, we now have 6 sets, correct (we being - uhhh me in the midwest US lol) - ? Applejack family, Rainbow Dash with Gilda and wonderbolt, Twilight with Shining Armor and Cadence and then the ones I mentioned above...
WHY NO FLUTTERSHY?!
If you ask me, I would have put Fluttershy with Photo Finish and Hoity Toity (since she was the model... even though it was Rarity's thing, I get it, but hear me out...) - and then Rarity with the spa pony. Or even Fluttershy with Zecora and the spa pony and Rarity the way she is now with PF and HT... but... two sets with Applejack and none with fluttershy?
Sad... Do you think they'll keep releasing more and more of these so we keep getting doubles or triples of the mane 6 ponies? I'd like to see Fluttershy have a set before I see a second Twilight or RD set, personally...
