From: http://www.giftsanddec.com/article/555836-Hasbro_Goes_Greener_in_2012.php?nid=2022&mid=227202191"Hasbro has remained committed to reducing its environmental footprint by achieving a 29-point year-over-year improvement in its Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting score." ... "Earlier this year, Hasbro was listed on CR Magazine's 2012 "100 Best Corporate Citizens" for its increasing transparency regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), including contributions to environmental sustainability, manufacturing ethics and product safety." So YAY for Hasbro, glad they are improving. Do you feel that corporations should make these factors an important point to their consumers? Do these factors have any impact on whether or not you will buy from Hasbro?

So I recently acquired a Cotton Candy with no tail and no mane that I may attempt to rehair. Notice I said, "may". This is because nearly all of her mane plugs have been ripped straight through - she has a big wide gap if you squeeze her head! How do I deal with this? My husband recommended taking some fishing line and tying the plugs of hair to it as I affix them inside the head and attaching the line through plugs that aren't ripped, but would this actually work? Looking for some advice from the experts here!

Of all the wonderfully random things that happen in my life.... I met a collector who lives 4 blocks away from me! And she totally is into fleamarketing together and trading and upgrading from each other's collections! She has an account here but hasn't posted since 2003, 2004. But still! What are the chances of THAT?! I was able to get a big bag of "baits" from her, as well as a Seashell, Wigwam, Starswirl, Happyglow and Ripple for my own collection! But... PONY FRIEND! Just to let you all know, I have done my regular surfing of the TP boards and synced up their list of scammers with my Google document, so the Bad Trader List is well and truly updated! Please check it before making any obligations to buy something from someone - especially on Etsy and Ebay! If you are ON this list and you feel it is in error, PLEASE let me know and I will look into it.

In the last two weeks, I've gone into the thrift store and gotten big bags of doll clothes all mixed together for cheap. Like, for under $10, I must have about 30 outfits for my MH girls. I will need to do some tailoring on the Barbie dresses and such but still, the price can't be beat. I honestly just can't pay for a fashion pack knowing that I can get so many more clothes for the same price.
Plus the plastic accessories thrown in are often awesome. This time, I got a globe that actually spins and a bagpipe prop. I could probably make a better bellows for the bagpipe with some fabric to make it more authentic!
What about you? Are you able to find doll clothes bagged up for cheap and how is that working for you?

Yeah, yeah, yeah... how exciting!
So... come celebrate with me!
Who would've thought back in 2004 that I would still be here in 2012, rambling about brushable horse-shaped plastic?

Check out your local TRU, Canadians! On top of being shipped Zecora, there is also a 30% off all My Little Pony products. This means blind bags are only $2.77! Plus the castle and train cars will be affordable.
The sale's only on until the 14th, though...
