I was just looking at my G4's from McD and the brush/stands are kinda weird... The plastics they chose are all different:

Celestia: solid plastic
Twilight: transparent plastic with glitter
Rarity: solid plastic (with glitter?)
Cheerilee: transparent plastic
Fluttershy: transparent plastic with glitter
Applejack: transparent plastic
Rainbow Dash: solid plastic

Is it just my set like this? Are they all random?

iTunes released "The Last Roundup" yesterday and they've changed the opening scene. Pony has a different voice, is no longer referred to by any name, and her eyes were changed a bit.

I personally like her new voice, as it seems much more cheerful and less mocking than the old one, to me at least. Maybe mocking isn't the right word, but she seemed like a stereotype character before, and now her voice seems like a regular cheerful girl. Rainbow Dash also seems less furious with her, now only mildly annoyed (which is kinda her usual state when things aren't going her way haha).

Again, I apologize if this topic has already been brought up and removed. I only make this post because I just found out myself and wanted to share the information with the rest of the MLP community, I don't intend to inflame anyone on the subject and if this thread has to be locked, I understand. But I hope it doesn't.

So I had a thought as a kinda joke gift to get all my RP friends mlp's that represent their RP characters. Mostly I'm just going to try to find a symbol/cutie mark that represents the character, and maybe match colors if I can.

Is there a place online I can go to do a search? Some of these characters are really random and my memory doesn't work so good these days! ;P (For the life of me, I can't remember if there's a MLP with a flamingo as a symbol...)

I am hoping to find a cutie mark search engine that includes all generations, because I don't really mind if I'm giving them a G1 or a G3 or G4.

For example... was there ever a pink MLP with a flamingo for a symbol? Or a green MLP with a star/stellar/cosmos kinda symbol? What about a cat? Tropical fish? Bluejay? I have all these ideas for symbols that represent my friends' RP charas, some of them funny! But it'll be almost impossible searching through 25+ years of ponies to find the right ones....

So my ponies were in storage for over a year. And by storage I mean I put 200 loose ponies in a giant cardboard box.  But at least it was temperature controlled in a nice cozy closet in my mom's house!

I brought all the ponies out of storage and for the most part they faired just fine. Hair is all sorts of crazy, of course, but everyone seems okay, with a few exceptions.

Two of my white G3's were somehow stained, but none of the ponies in the box were wearing any clothes or accessories. One of the white ponies now has a big neon pink streak down her back, and another has a yellow stripe down her leg.

I'm assuming the color must have come from the hair and/or body of a pony they were resting on?  Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't think about not letting the ponies touch each other when I put them in storage lol.

I'm hoping to sun bleach or use some other method to remove the marks, since the pretty ponies are mint otherwise!

Some of you may or may not remember me, I think the last time I posted on the Arena was in 2009. >.>;; Hello again to all the new and old pony fans! *waves a hoof to everyone*
 
 I'm  currently working on an important art project and it's going to feature 6  G1 MLP's as the focus of the piece. It's important to me that these  6 characters be recognized right away, so I spent a lot of time  debating what are the most popular (and therefore most easily recognized) G1's. I decided quickly on Firefly. I think we can all agree that she was probably the most popular G1 thanks to her appearance in the first animated special and several toy incarnations. I then decided on Gusty, I think she was pretty popular as a toy for her color scheme and on the cartoon for her spunky personality. But the rest of them have  me stumped...
 
 Then I remembered my old stomping grounds the MLPArena and MLPTP so I came back to get the opinions of everyone else!
 
 I  would very much appreciate it if people could fill out the following and post their answers. I'll use this to decide which characters are featured on my art project.
 
 1.) These must be G1's, no exceptions
 2.)  It would balance the art project more if I could have 2 pegs, 2 unis,  and 2 earthies, but that's not set in stone so it's okay to suggest  others that don't fit that criteria (I think Rosedust the flutter was  pretty popular maybe?)
 3.) It's not a must that the characters be  from the movie/specials/cartoon, but I think the animated features  really made the toys come alive for people so I'm more leaning toward  G1's that were in the animated features at this time. But maybe some  people think some later toys, like Rapunzel, are more popular?
