This is most likely one of my last brags  . At least for a long time. Ill be focusing less on collecting naturally since i just got married recently. My reverse gusty journeyed with me to Puerto Rico to get married. She was a birthday gift from my husband in April. The wedding was such a fairy tale! By the time we got back my last grail had come up for sale. Reverse Bowtie! Ive been looking for her for over 13 years. I had lost hope of owning her one day and as soon as i get married shes on her way to me. Anyways im super excited to show her to everyone. She is one of four ever found. So I recently won greek reverse glory and I just wanted to find out if anyone else has ever seen her. I remember seeing only one on ebay many years ago and the same one was shown on http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook/avgerinosgreece.jpgLittle did I know the Delaneys had bought her all those years ago and when they went to sell their collection they listed her on ebay.. I have confirmed with the photos that she is the exact same one that I had seen all those years ago.. Anyone else seen her before? She could be a factory error or just a really rare variant of greek glory. Either way I think she is striking in her reverse color scheme.. She just arrived today!!!! Her hair is beautiful dark blue with blue eyes and under one hoof is marked "B".. Its my birthday today and i finally get to open my gift my fiance pitched in to get me. Reverse gusty!!!! I had taken pictures of her previously before he confiscated her. So today shes at last in my hands. Shes the perfect birthday pony. I just love her. I started an informational post about her in the nirvana forum and a lot has been uncovered about the reverse gusty variant. She seems to have been a Scandinavian release. I believe we can now more accurately discern the real from the fake. For those of you that dont know there was a scammer long ago that made fake reverse gustys and sold them as real. Since mine was the original one that was found in 1997 in an unmarked uk lot by wolfiechick, we could use her as the basis for comparison. We discovered the real rg has different shaped symbols, brown eye liner, specific color hair, a darker green stripe, a smaller tail washer and factory weave. Hi everyone,
So lets talk weddings.. Who are the Brides to be on here? When is your wedding? Where did you meet your fiancé? Where did your fiancé propose? What does your dress look like?
My wedding is in late May and I am so excited.. I met my fiancé on a plan to Peru 5 years ago. My fiancé proposed 2 years ago on a beach in Thailand after a 7 course meal under a canopy. We plan to get married in Puerto Rico on a castle no less with a big reception planned in NJ the following week. I guess we have a flair for the dramatic. My dress is also very beautiful and I was very picky about it and I didn't think I would be. I just didn't like how most dresses looked on me so I had one custom made. It is made of chantilly lace and silk and has pearls and crystals on it. Its just stunning. I can't wait.

So Bubbles171 and I have been working on a little side project and we wanted to share the African goodness with everyone.. We took group photos of the africans of our herd so we could get a collective group shot. I fused the two photos together for an even larger photo showing all africans that we know of to date except sparkler and blossom. Its also nice to see almost all the africans pretty much side by side.. It is believed that a set of 20 was made by South Africa.. That means there are two ponies that have not surfaced yet. I hear rumors of a SA Sprinkles and a SA glory. That would be wonderful if they actually existed. Bubbles and I hope you enjoy the photo! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

This came up in another thread. Both babydoll and I have reverse gustys with brown eyeliner. PKW found a post about a scandinavian hopscotch with brown eyeliner. Do we know of other scandinavian ponies with brown eyeliner? Pictures please.

Ok everyone.. SQUEEEEEEE SO today was the best day ever for a myriad of reasons.. I got some great news work wise and also The original REAL reverse gusty arrived in the mail sold to me by Sarahbee. She got her from Stormy who got her from Brickheaven who got her from Wolfiechick who got her from a lady in the UK circa 1997.. She was the very first one ever to surface and one of the two confirmed Reverse Gustys ever! And as you can see shes been owned by some very famous and reputable collectors. She's perfect.. Gorgeous and I can just look at her for hours.. I am so in love!!! Ok Ok so now onto business! Now I had an unconfirmed gusty in my collection for over 10 years and was dying to do a comparison to find out if the one I had is real too.. It turns out that the one I have is fake and it can be proven.. There are noticeable differences between the unconfirmed one and the real reverse gusty that only can be noticed if you have them both side by side. *The real reverse gusty has slightly different symbols than the normal gusty. Reverse gusty's symbols have a heavy silvery glitter tinge to them and the normal gusty has a dark purple glitter symbol.. Also the real reverse gusty has finer more delicate symbols and the normal gusty symbols are clunkier by comparison.. *And lastly... the proof is in the pudding.. The unconfirmed gusty had a larger tail washer and the normal gusty and real reverse gusty have smaller tail washers.. I believe whoever was putting a fake reverse gusty together probably got a tail from cherry treats which was released much later and the washer by then may have been larger??? This is just speculation until I can behead a cherry treats myself to find out. *The real reverse gusty has a perfect factory weave and its flawless inside while the faked one has a messy weave. I will be uploading photos shortly.. I just thought this bit of evidence has not been seen before and would be very interesting to the community. Here are the PICS.. I dont usually brag to much lately but I thought finally getting my #1 grail deserved a post. Shes been my grail for 7 years. Presenting the Elusive Ami Ami: the braided takara pony from the ochame fashion pony set. She was found 7 years ago in a fleemarket in finland. To this day she is the only Ami Ami ever found. It has occurred to me that she might be a factory error. It does seem as if she got kuru kuru's green color hair for whatever reason. Maybe there was an error or a color blind worker on the assembly line? Or she was just made in teal instead of blue like the catalogue pictures show. A cute name for her might be "Kurami" the hybrid takara pony. Hi guys.
I am getting married soon and my flatware has been discontinued by mikasa.
I can't find anything in the states.. I have placed over 10 orders trying to get this flatware.
And my money has been returned every time with a not in stock message.. The only
place that has my silverware in stock is Hudson Bay and they will only ship to Canada.
Can any Canadians help me out??
