Customs / Cloudscout and Snowblind
« on: February 13, 2014, 05:20:12 AM »
(I'm not sure if I showed these guys off before so I do it now. My apologies if you've already seen them.)

With Cloudscout at your side you'll never get lost in the nightsky again. He knows the constellations by heart and only needs a bit if starlight to show you the way. He's the best friend you could wish for.

He's painted in acrylics and sealed with ModPodge matte for extra protection. His hair is wool fibre that gives him the cloudy extra poofy look. It's very soft but can't be brushed due to fibre loss. He's carrying a little shiny plastic star in his mouth.
He's for sale in my etsy store.

Snowblind was my first Blindbag G4 custom and I really enjoyed making her. She's not for sale.

I hope you like them.

Arts & Crafts Corral / ATC trade anyone? (CLOSED)
« on: January 13, 2014, 06:49:37 PM »
I'm looking to do a pony-related ATC swap.
As I had kind of a craft/art-burnout and want to get used to deadlines slowly, I can only do ONE.

You can see some of my art here:

Anyone interested? First come - first serve.

Arts & Crafts Corral / Pony Magnets G1 Rainbow Curls Set
« on: January 09, 2014, 11:25:34 PM »
A commission I finished last week. So much fun once you sanded down all the edges. ^^

These are cast by me (mould from ebay) and painted with acrylics and glittered (rainbow and cloud) with embossing technique. Sizes are about max 5x6cm for the bigger ones. A powerful magnet glued to the back makes them great fridge magnets. :cheer:

I hope you like them.

Customs / Puushs Halloween Customs 2013 - a bit late
« on: January 08, 2014, 02:13:04 AM »
Some of you might remember me. (I hope, lol)
I took a break from customizing last year, and now I'm back (sort of).

I did two customs for Halloween 2013 - just to get back in the saddle. And of course I totally failed to meet my own set deadline. But hey, at least I'm doing customs again. Here they are.

Both are for sale and can be found in my etsy store. http://etsy.com/shop/puuush

same procedure as last custom: Painted with acrylics, sealed with ModPodge matte, eyes glossed with TripleThick, genuine Nylon Hair used by mylittlecustoms and/or dollyhair. All done with love and passion and some swearing. ;)

I hope you like them. More complicated designs to follow soon.

Woohoo, it feels good to be back!!! I missed you all! :lovey:

So
1. What is it?
2. How can she get rid of it?

THANK YOUUU.

Customs / The Crow Queen – Masquerade Swap Pony for JPP
« on: December 12, 2012, 07:42:19 AM »
FINALLY!
I was so very lagging behind. My dearest apologies to Saja, the swap holder, the mods who must have been eyeing me with disgust and, above all, my poor partner JPP. SOOOORRY! :yikes:

But I hope I could make up a bit for the cruel delay.

Say hello to "The Crow Queen" at the Masquerade Ball.

HER STORY:
Of course this is not the REAL Crow Queen, but lovely Lapislazuli dressed up as her for the masquerade ball as she loved the dark tale of the Crow Queen when she was a kid.

The legend tells that the Crow Queen lived thousands of years ago. She was a very beautiful mare that was gentle and kind and deeply in love with a white Peacock Prince. For a while all seemed good, but he was vain and narcissistic and loved to be admired. He betrayed her with other girls and when she found out her life shattered to pieces. In her rage all the good in her heart shrivelled to blackness. She made a pact with the devil and got dark powers from him to find her prince and to make him pay.
She razed whole cities in search for him. But when she found him, she realized that his betrayal corrupted his heart too and he wasn't the white peacock she once loved so much. Instead his coat had turned to a hazy dusk color now. She took his feathers and wore them as her sign of triumph. For him she chose another destiny. She turned him into a crow - now he has to follow and serve her forever all in black.
From that time on she was seldomly seen. Some say she died. Some say she still lives high up in the mountains and some say that she will offer dark pacts to the betrayed.

As I said, Lapislazuli was impressed by the story and chose the Crow Queen to be the theme of her costume. Only Lapis' flutterwings seem not to fit but she doesn't care much. It's a masquerade after all – and therefor FUN!

Hope you all like my little story and of course my custom.
Sculpted with Apoxie, painted in acrylics and sealed with ModPodge and Triple Thick. Decorated with crystals. I made the banner from apoxie and the stand is one of the photo-holders with a crocodile-clip that I oversculpted. The bar is a part of one of my paintbrushes and I somewhere got the peacock and the little bells. I found the crow on a fleamarket and it's playmobile. :)

Hope you like her:

Off Topic / Wording help for a job description
« on: November 05, 2012, 06:08:55 AM »
Hello people. I'm lost. I need to find a cool name for a cool job, but I'm totally stuck. Maybe you can break the creativity-barrier. If so, just put down some (realistic to fun and crazy) ideas to the questions below. Thank youuuu. I love you.

How would you call someone who reports from a music Festival?

How would you call the mix of music festival interviews, news, reviews and campground gossip?

How would you call the process of getting the information needed?

Customs / Roogna - summoning spiders
« on: October 31, 2012, 04:30:43 AM »
It was a wonderful trade with Roogna. I got the wonderful Drifa in return for Roogna's Persona.
What a fun custom... although it took me so very very VERY long to complete her. Not only because she was hard to make, but because I didn't feel like "extra-careful-spider-and-spiderlegs"-sculpting, or "super-clean-and-detailled-spider-and-spiderweb"-painting.
But Roogna was very patient and never made me feel bad.
THANK YOU!

In case you're wondering: Roogna is using her magic to summon spiders. Many many tiny spiders!

She has a wire-mesh inside the magic-flow for support (I made a silly mistake with that btw. I sculpted the swirl thing and then I had to cut it in half because I couldn't get the head back on. D'oh!) sculpted everything with Apoxy Sculpt: Swirl, spiders, 3D-symbols on both sides. Painted in acrylics. I gave her a marbeled effect in that awesome rusty-dusty-red/pink with hot pink and silvery accents. The swirl has been painted from dark grey to silver-grey and shows silver spiderwebs.
Sealed with ModPodge and glossed with Triple Thick.
Rehaired with Poison Ivy, Starlight and Sour Grapes.

I'm very happy that Roogna likes her pony. And I hope you like her too. :D

Customs / Swift-Tuttle - a G4 rainbow pony
« on: October 25, 2012, 09:19:25 AM »
Swift-Tuttle lives for flying. Although she's quite small for a pony her age, she is a great defender of truth and fairness and will stand up for her friends. Bullys have no chance against her as her tongue is as quick as she is. She has a great sense of humor and if she likes you, she'll stop by for a cup of coffee or some drinks and will  bring you a gift from outer space. She has many friends and loves to travel. Swift-Tuttle loves challenges, so if there is a competition somewhere she'll be there - and will thank all friends that cheered for her with a legendary party afterwards.

Painted in a dark indigo-blue/black and with pastel rainbows, sealed with ModPodge and Triple-thick gloss, embossed with holographic glitter and rehaired in ... I don't know... 22 haircolors? (4 strands each).

She's the third of my black rainbow pegasi and will be the last (for now).

She found a wonderful new home and is already on her way. :D

Customs / Rainflower - a pony for rainy days.
« on: October 22, 2012, 08:15:46 AM »
Sunny weather? "Yes, please."
Grey, rainy days? "How wonderful."

Even when she was a filly, Rainflower always wanted to play outside, rain or shine. For her, there is nothing better than the earthy smell after a summer rain or shimmering drops on delicate flowerpetals, splashing though the puddles and playing with the ducks in the rain. She rescues the earthworms that curl on the ways and has a lot of plants in her garden with big leaves so the butterflies can hide.

Rainflower cherishes all the little rainy delights outside. But also can curl up on a sofa with tea and a good book. But the next morning she's out again at first light, greeting the new day while the morning makes the meadows shiny with dewy diamonds.

She was kind of an experiment for me and her colors are stunning. They have such a great contrast but the grey makes the pony overall not too bright. Painted with acrylics, sealed with ModPodge, rehaired in nylon hair from mylittlecustoms in Marmelade, Unlucky Clover and Kiss of Death.
Very fun to make, but the flowers took forever.

I really hope you like her. :lovey:

Yay, she is sold.

Customs / Flarewing - a phoenix custom
« on: October 17, 2012, 08:47:36 AM »
You all know I'm obsessed with phoenixes (actually even more than with dragons) and I love to wrap designs around the ponies. So this HAD to come sooner or later.
Flarewing also was supposed to go to Ponycon with me, but now she looks for a cozy new home here.

She was painted in many, many layers with acrylic paint, sealed with ModPodge and Triple Thick and rehaired in a fire blend of genuine nylon hair in 6 or 7 colors. Sadly I forgot which ones.

Although she's a bit hot temper(at)ed she's really a doll. She loves to sleep in but when she's up and awake you find a really active and happy ponyfriend in her. She'll entertain you with fun games, prepares spicy food and hot drinks for you, makes you do these creative projects you always wanted to do and she's a perfect party companion. Also she loves to cuddle - what better way to shoo the nearing winter chills away as with a wonderful friend? :D

So adopt Flarewing today. She's excited to find out where she's heading. :D

She's now SOLD! Thank you. :lovey:
I really hope you like her.

Customs / Icy Bliss (Icy Something) - a winter faerie
« on: October 11, 2012, 03:38:21 AM »
I love the donkey pose. They make so HAPPY customs.
And I love marbled full body repaints.
But I had trouble to think about any theme when I finished her white/blue body color. Pink shiny swirls and wings seemed fitting and now I'm really happy with her. The first time I rehaired with Saran (Fairy Lights). I don't like to work with it cause I'm not used to it, but I love the texture. It's so silky.
Wings are made of Angelina Film and are removable for shipping.

She's for sale. I ask 35 Euro = 45 USD if anyone is interested. (5.50 USD shipping worldwide)

Customs / Soran the dragon
« on: October 10, 2012, 07:49:02 AM »
The first of my pony-con-ponies. I made some customs to sell them at the convention, but I got sick and couldn't attend. So all ponies will go up for grabs here. :frolic:

Say hello to Soran, the dragon.
I wanted to do a scaled, illustrative design and I read a book that had a golden unicorn in this style on a blue cover. ("the one kingdom" by Sean Russell for anyone interested in fantasy literature – highly recommended)

I had to paint the gold twice because the paint didn't cover too well.
Rehaired with After Midnight, Bobby Blue and Golden Goddess.

She was so much fun to make and I really hope you like her.

I'm sorry, Soran is already on HOLD. :)

Wanted! / Wanted: TE Masquerade
« on: August 25, 2012, 09:12:03 AM »
Hello ponies,

for a friend's birthday I need a TE Masquerade. She should be in good condition as it's a gift. No cancer or something like that. Eyes as sparkly as possible. Hair in nice condition.

Please PM me your offers. Thank you.

Also I'm still looking for a nice white Glory for my own collection. :)

Customs / Crimson Fire - a dragon girl
« on: August 23, 2012, 11:46:51 AM »
Meet Crimson Fire. She's one hot girl, with a great sense of humor. Also she's the best friend one can have, as she's tough, hates injustice and is very loyal. She knows many great stories and games and she likes lemon ice cream.

She was comissioned by the lovely (and patient) Tinker. I had a lot of fun doing her. I hope you like her as much as Tinker and I do.
