Hi ponypals,

I've been thinking about this and I bet there are a lot of married friends on here who may be able to help.

When you marry someone, are you responsible for paying their debt?

For example, I have student loans, and he has credit cards.

He also owes back child support. He needs to pay it, I have no issues with that. However, I have heard that the tax man can take the spouses income tax returns in order to pay the other spouses debt.

Not cool.

I have heard that your credit reports remain individual. As mine is pretty great, and his is less than stellar.

Anyone have any experience you might be able to share?

Hi! *waves* I'm Baby Fizzy and I am an ancient relic in the online pony collecting community. I've been a member of the MLPTP since 2001.

I was happy to see that I can still log onto the Arena with my original log in.

I have been pretty absent from pony collecting because in the summer of 2010 I joined the US Army and have been pretty stressed and busy since then. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. I am getting out of the Army at the end of June and will be heading home to Maryland.

Also, in the past I have been very active with the MD meet. I have missed a few over the years but I did attend the first MD meet in 2003. I have been to the MLP Fair once the year it was in Memphis.

I collect all 4 generations but I love G1 the most. I don't have pictures of my collection right now but my number is in the 1,000s.

I've always found the arena a little bit more difficult to follow and keep up with than the TP but I would like to get back involved in this community.
