I like these big girls, after acquiring two on my cross channel adventure. I don't mind loose and missing accessories, as I'm not too hot on those really. I recently bought a pony that I was told was just grubby and needed a rehair. On arrival I notice a cancer spot and a section of missing symbol on the side that wasnt photographed. The cancer is the problem, it means she is essentially worthless as I don't dare display her with other ponies. I paid $15 for a pony thats $40 currently in minty condition. Just discovered a pimple as well. I was so excited to get her

My euro Milky Way arrived with a bit of a smell and yellowed hair. I've popped her tail out and given that and her head a good soak in vanish gel (no powder one in at the mo) and its certainly less severe. Any other ideas?

So, I got sent Rochelle, and someone else got sent my BW SS Frankie.
Buyer gets informed.
We decide it is easier for the buyers to mail them to the correct people, and buyer pay for the postage.
I did this last week. Rochelle is sitting at the post office waiting to be picked up. I have asked (twice now) for postage info. If Rochelle isn't collected within the next week and a half, she'll be mailed back to me. Have advised seller of this and suggested he advise her actual buyer. Have also told them that if Rochelle is returned to me and I still do not get Frankie, then I'm filing with ebay for Item not received.
Rarhghragrhgagragh. Hmpf.

I sold some flower fairies the other week. Just got a message saying that a knee doesn't click on one of them and a dress needed repair. I wasn't aware of this on either of them. Buyers repaired the dress before contacting me.
Should I point out that these dolls were not described as mint, sold as used and are nearly 30 years old and I was not aware of the knee or dress issue? My descriptions pretty much said "This is the x fairy! Comes with x y z", no mention of mintyness or anything else.
(Imo, if you fiddle with something *before* contacting the seller, and fix it, you waive your refund. I don't think it's right to say "Hey, this was wrong with it, but it's ok now, can I have a refund?")

I'm looking at the remains of Lil Pockets tail, and my leftover Atomic Turquoise, and her tails much lighter. Has it just faded? Edit: Just prised open the metal clasp and it's the same colour, so I don't think it's faded massively. Has anyone got a Lil Pocket and a hank of Daiquiri Ice they can compare? Mermaid I think will be too green And again. Just compared to a swap pony after a flash of knowledge, and its water nixie. Which means that Bubblefish can't be water nixie as well as she looks darker. She could be atomic turquoise. Anyone?

Scarah and Hoodude are as minty as minty could be. I'm after a Party Lights Sindy outfit - I so far cannot spot one and am hoping one of you lovely ponies will spot one somewhere or maybe have one lurking around. It's fairly neon and hard to mistake for anything else. I got the doll in a TLC lot but she's a bit naked.

Well. Since my Grans passing (that some of you may remember), my partner had some sort of midlife crisis and deciding chucking out all the people who could help would be a good idea  which was a bit of a surprise and annoyance. He did the 'still want to be friends' lark but it's muggins here who has to make any effort so pbbbbfft to him. I shall let him simmer in his issues on his own as that appears to be how he wants it. I'm now a Brownie Leader in Training (Girl Scouts for you over the pond, the 7-10 year old ones), went to Disneyland Paris with them in below zero January temperatures, got a whole load of experience in What To Do When It Goes Wrong (!) and am now still recovering from the nasty cold bug I bought back with me as well. Just done what we call section training and I've got first aid in a few weeks. 24 girls for an hour and a half on a Friday night is surprisingly exhausting. THEY NEVER STOP.

I wonder as I think they're trying to embellish the truth a little.
Aside from not really taking offers ($1 off the listed price is not an appropriate use of the option!) they're claiming to have had 'lots of offers' (4 through the best offer, 2 of them mine!) and have already had to relist once to drop the price.
