The Dollhouse / FS/FA: Bratz, Hannah Montana 22", MH Ghoulia Yelps
« on: September 30, 2012, 09:33:39 PM »
In a fit of frustration with eBay and the total lack of visibility any sellers who don't deal with all that knock off mass produced crappe flooding in from China, I went ahead and set up shop on eBid as yet another outlet for sales.

That said, I have a few items relevant to the Dollhouse forum here up for sale/auction (no Ponies yet.  I'll work on getting those written up for listing there over the next week, and hopefully soon set up my first couple eBid stores, of which I get to have 5 with the lifetime membership I paid for.)

So anyway, JadeDuck is now open for biz there, and here is the link to everything...

http://us.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?words=1309398&view_format=gallery&mo=search&type=user

Listings are set up as 7 day auctions with BIN.  However, the auction clock does not start until the first bid is placed.  Also, bear in mind that a listing will automatically get extended by one minute if a bid is placed within the last minute (a going going gone feature that nullified sniping).

And finally, in addition to PayPal, I can actually state in the listings that I take other payment methods as well (Google Checkout, Postal Money Orders, checks, and cash so far).  Granted, I can take those over on the 'bay, but I can't mention it there.  The buyer has to ask about other methods.

The Dollhouse / PC: Ghoulia Yelps - Dead Tired
« on: September 13, 2012, 10:15:45 PM »
Anyone have a decent estimate on pricing for a Dead Tired Ghoulia Yelps?  (Loose)

With as crappy as eBay sales have been for so many this past month...aka many sellers not even being seen in search results according to many complaints on the eBay forums, I do not feel that the ended auctions search results are anywhere near an accurate snapshot (too few search results especially).

Off Topic / Playing Guild Wars 2? Show Us Your Krewe
« on: August 30, 2012, 09:19:01 PM »
I presume there are plenty of you Ponies and Bronies playing Guild Wars 2 now that it has gone live.  Sadly, I ended up skipping a good portion of the headstart due to the compulsion to take advantage of the invite I got for 10 day long free listing special on eBay.

Anyway, now that the game has gone live, let's see your krewe (your cast of characters, that is...

Here are mine:

Frelic:  Human - Guardian  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Pepperwillow:  Asura - Engineer  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Kaermine:  Norn - Warrior  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Myrdon:  Human - Ranger  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Shaasta:  Human - Elementalist  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

And that fills all 5 of my starting character slots.  I will have to buy more eventually, since at some point I will want a Sylvari and a Charr.  Plus, you just know that those bird people that they have milling about this blocked off area outside Lion's Arch will become a playable character race in a future expansion.  I will most definitely need one or two of those.

So let's see what you others who are playing are parading about as.  :)

The Dollhouse / Another Doll to I.D. - Mattel 2009 Purple Acid Trip Girl
« on: August 23, 2012, 07:03:50 PM »
Okay, what is this?  She is marked Mattel 2009, but I am having a difficult time with my searches for her using the obvious search strings?

This is why Mattel needs to make sure their designers aren't dropping acid while coming up with new ideas (and make sure those in charge of approving such ideas aren't dropping acid either when the designers present their concepts.)

« on: August 20, 2012, 10:49:27 PM »
This is the first I've seen of these creepy little buggers.  Can anyone here possibly help identify these Living Dead dolls (1 large and 5 mini sized)?

The Dollhouse / More Unidentified Bratz Dolls
« on: August 14, 2012, 09:54:40 PM »
Hey all!  Here's another batch of Bratz I need help identifying.  I'm fairly certain that the first 2 are a Cloe and a Felicia (always a chance I'm wrong of course), but I am stumped on the other 3.  I checked the List of Bratz Characters Wikipedia entry, and none of the descriptions quite match any of them, leading me to believe that the list is incomplete.

Any clues as to who these gals are?

Off Topic / City of Heroes - Ponies of Paragon Is Now Recruiting
« on: June 03, 2012, 05:24:26 PM »
The Ponies of Paragon are now recruiting.  Ponies of Paragon is a My Little Pony themed super hero group in the City of Heroes MMORPG.  We operate on the Liberty server.

Here are examples of some types of Ponies that can be made in City of Heroes:

Earth Pony - This is Star-Watcher, my main (or is it mane in this case) there.  Had to make him an Earth Pony because there is no viable way to make a male Unicorn there.  Females can use one of the assorted jeweled tiaras and say that is what her horn became on the interdimensional trip.

Female Earth Pony - This is Melee Dee, my Martial Arts/Willpower Scrapper

Female Summer Wing Pony - Crystal Barebow.  She is an Empathy/Archery Defender.

Female Flutter Pony - This is Star Blossom, my latest creation.  She is a Gravity/Psionic Dominator.

And finally, a Pegasus Pony.  This isn't any particular character, just an example of what a Pegasus Pony in City of Heroes would look like.

Additionally, I can assist in Pony design (getting the body scales right and whatnot for proper proportions, as in short with a healthy Ponyesque figure so to speak).  Thanks to .costume files, I can easily provide templates for various body styles.

I can also provide a set of Halloween Salvage to new Ponies.  They can hand this over to an npc in Croatoa to unlock another costume slot.

To join, either send me an in game /tell to Star-Watcher, Melee Dee, Crystal Barebow, or Star Blossom. And when I can catch you online, I will bring you into the group. If you are on a free account that can't use /tells, then PM me here.

Pony Corral / Raised Hoof Baby Glory - Rare Variant or Butt Common?
« on: May 11, 2012, 07:07:32 PM »
I posted this on Facebook, but figured I may as well post it here too...

Before I go putting this little cutie up on the 'bay, can anyone here tell me whether or not this was a common variant of Baby Glory?

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Specifically note how her left front hoof is significantly raised so she is standing on only three hooves.

Did I just find a rare variant, or are these butt common?

If anyone here sells internationally on eBay, be sure to check your fees.  eBay has been visited by the ****-up Fairy and they are overcharging on the final value fee they ream us on on shipping.

For international orders, the fee is supposed to be based on the lowest domestic rate you have in your listing.  Instead, they are now charging it based on 9% of the actual international shipping cost.  If you have had overcharges, you should call their customer support and see if they can credit the overage to your account.

If you currently have any listings going and the current high bidder is outside the U.S., you should message them and request that they not pay through eBay's checkout.  Instead, have them wait until you can send a PayPal invoice and they can pay that way.  You only get charged the shipping final value fee if they buyer pays through the eBay invoice, so using a PayPal invoice should get around that.

The Dollhouse / PC: Monster High Clothes and Storage Coffin

Any idea on the worth of this little lot?  I know some of it is Monster High, but not sure if everything is, as some looks too small to fit a 12 inch doll.

The Dollhouse / Which Bratz Doll Is This?
« on: February 16, 2012, 10:27:07 AM »
I know she is a Bratz Cloe, but what line in particular is she from?  My first guess would be Flashback Fever 80s, but chances are, I would be "incorrect as usual, King Friday."
