I'm just getting into doing some customs. Ironically, that's how I found the MLP community almost 13 years ago!
I'm rehairing my second custom and am not a fan of using a needle with the eye clipped off to push the plugs in. The eye kept breaking and sometimes the hairs would be broken off, leaving a pitiful amount actually in the hole.
So how do you guys do it? I've come up with a different way that is working so much better and I'll share it in a later post but wanted to ask how others do it first.

OMG! I wanted her but hadn't bought her and was trying to come up with a customized buggy for her for my second buggy project when I was sent to get pizza by myself. I had 15 minutes in between ordering my pizza and it being ready so I told the pizza girl I'd pop down to the thrifttown and be back. For $9, I picked up a complete redhead CPK twin with paci, Galaxy (hair trim, marks) Surprise, Baby Fifi (cancer, hair trim,) Peach blossom (flutter, some marks) Baby Apple family sister, and two fakies, one having a light up horn ( I think?) Not a bad grab for being 30 minutes till close and not something I get to do often! Oh and Baby Princess Sparkle! She was super grubby but cleaned up well enough. Her hair is faded but her tail still has a hint of pink, her tinsel is a bit crinkled but not terrible and she has some rubs but still, SHE"S MINE! AND FOR LIKE $3!!!! Original ribbons, and I was joking with myself when I said I should look for Yum Yum's wings in the bag and there they were. Tabs are broken, of course, but I've never ever had wings before!! I'm crafty, I bet I can rig something! I even love Baby Frosting. There's something about those lavender eyes that's less scary that pics suggest.

Funny how that works, huh? I've come across several so softs in ebay lots or second hand and usually they are a hot mess. Sundance was my first. After finding my second SS Twilight second hand, and in better condition than I could ever buy her for, I decided that I would collect certain SS ponies in mint condition and a few deflocks.

I've been looking offhand for a Daddy Sweet Celebrations bait and it seems like every kid who had him took great care of him! I've gotten two different ones that I thought had rubs or a forelock buzz and both have immaculate hair and great bodies and symbols. I can't bait a good pony so I sold those and am looking again.
How much do boy baits go for anyway?

There's a place that buys and resells toys near me. I've had luck there a few times so I pop in every now and then. I went last week and found an AG foal named Sparks Flying but no ponies at all! Something told me to go back today and I found a CPK diaper bag I wanted but didn't even find a pony bin! As I'm checking out I look up and see it: a G1 pony case with a Glory puffy sitcker on it! I whip around and ask about it, it came in this morning and he thinks it's $35. Yikes! Then he pops the front open and I see mostly what I expect to see, FF Bluebelle, Glory, Moondancer, Moonstone, Firefly and a shock of PINK hair and soft greyish lavender belonging to SS Twilight. The second one I have gotten from there and in even better shape than the first! I'll get a pic up soon, I've never seen such bright hair and the only rubs are the tips of her ears. Her eyebrows and lips and hoof tips are perfect, I can't wait to go give her a bath and see her all spiffed up! Each complete with accessories and pets but I only needed Blueberry Muffin so I picked her up too for $8. I love the owner, she looks up stuff on ebay and then undercuts it. She also knows what I collect so she lets me know if she has stuff I might want. Yay for people who get me!

I got a large thing of honey that had sugared and I decided to try using it to scrub my face. (I've used it as a mask before with a little avocado)
My skin is softer and clearer than when I was using a way more expensive cleanser. Honey has antibacterial properties and cleared the little bit of acne I had. I also need much less moisturizer than before.
Thought I'd share as I know most of you wash your face at least sometimes! Plus, it's totally green!

Instead of rewarding Hulalei for good grades after they came out, I bought her 4 tickets to her favorite band, pinned them on her wall and told her we would go if she got her grades up. She did, and tonight we're going with her best friend and friends Mom.
I'm so excited! Not only is it a band I like as well but her first concert!
