I remember seeing a Barbie/Kennedy version that has a more sunkissed skin complexion than the classic versions of the character, but I can't for the love of god remember which one it was. Pics on the internet can be a bit misleading b/c of the lighting, so I thought I'd try my luck here.
Can anyone ID this version of the doll for me please? Could it possibly be the Miami Getaway or Jamming in Jamaica version?
Thanks for the help, and if someone has comparison shots, I'd love to see them!

I got into stock trading this month, and wednesday saw a big surge in Mattel stock. I wondered why, and went snooping for the scoop. Apparently, Disney Princess and Frozen will return to Mattel. Very curious to see what new things Hasbro will focus on to fill the hole that will be left. Maybe more creativity into MLP? What do you think about the news? I was a little stunned; nothing indicated that Hasbro was going to lose the license. For those interested, here's the NY Post article: https://nypost.com/2022/01/26/mattel-grabs-rights-to-disney-princess-frozen-from-hasbro/

Howdie! Has anyone ever reached out to Hasbro about licensing the MLP IP for their fanart? Or would you have any info on how to go about it all? I've been doing pony art for a while now, via POD sites, mainly G1 focused, and I was wondering whether it would be necessary or worthwhile to look into licensing - just to be on the safe side in the long run, because Hasbro seems to be pretty cool with fanart offered online. I'm sure that when using the IP name and their new retro style vectors it could be useful. But what about the old art style - like Moschino did a while ago? Is that even protected at all anymore? Even the old rainbow logo has been minorly revamped it seems, for the G4 to G1 ponies. So I was wondering do they still have a say - legally - on anything actually old school (minus the brand name)? Maybe HQG1C has any info to share? Thanks

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've posted here, but here I am with a peak at my latest piece. The idea of making a panoramic view of Dreamvalley with its iconic landmarks is something that I have been thinking about for sooo long: https://www.deviantart.com/dreamvalleymlp/art/MLP-DV-WIP-858763100?ga_submit_new=10%3A1603289253The original canvas is enormous: 10480px x 4152px. I certainly underestimated the work that would go into this idea, but it's coming along nicely after two weeks. It still needs a little more ponies in the sky. And I'll be throwing in the G1 hot air balloon in there as well. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a customer of my online shop(s). I'm sure some of my MLP merch buyers are present here I hope you enjoy your purchases! I do follow the Likes given on Redbubble, it's a great way of communicating what's preferred. (Apparently not a lot of people like merch with Megan, lol.) Fun side note to some very lucky few: for those who managed to get their hands on the Share Bear x Lickety Split design: for some reason that particular Bear/Pony combination is a massive no-no (while Wish Bear x Glory seems to be okay..? go figure...), so do know you've got something rather rare, lol; I believe about 10 shirts got sold before Redbubble ejected it. Mind you, I'm not complaining about this; I knew it was tricky from the start - just a tad disappointed because it was my personal fave combo. I certainly am very grateful that pony art is allowed to stay up. Anyways, thanks again to everyone, I love making Pony art, and I love that peeps enjoy it. I do hope that in the near future I will be able to move into commissioned pieces (maybe people want pony stuff with their name on it?), if people would be interested in that. I dunno how to go about it yet.

Hi all, can someone help me to identify this doll please? She's quite tall (taller than barbie; about 15 inch I believe), looks to be of Barbie quality, but the face isn't quite Barbie. The camera didn't pick it up, but she has very noticable dimples in her cheeks. What line is she from? Articulated? Others available maybe? I'm definitely picking her up on wednesday, the store was closed today visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThere's a classic barbie size fakie in the background (for size reference) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThank you!

Another huge collector doll She-Ra is on the way, exclusive to Power Con apparently. Man, these are so amazing! I'm tempted to get the first one (in the classic style), and now there's a Starburst version planned as well... Too bad they didn't opt for Catra though - Mattel showcased her, but for some reason they went for Starburst. Does anyone have the first one, from 2016? Was she worth the investment? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginPrototype Catra from 2016: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm working on a reproduction of backcards, starting with the first set of Twinkle Eyes. So far I've got Fizzy, Galaxy and Masquerade finished (in about 5000px each, so it'll be an enormous print size). My question is; what to do with the cascading text in the upper left corner? Should I just drop it (and leave a gaping empty space), maybe replace it with Dream Castle, write a story for TE in general (or maybe there exists an official story on all TE?), or just leave the story of a particular pony? If I make more backcards, this will be a recurring issue I'm afraid. Please do share your ideas and thoughts, maybe there are other options! visitors can't see pics , please register or login(I plucked the backcard example from Google; I don't remember the source though, sorry. Around it, my rendition of the ponies finished so far)

I'd love to do a version with Knightshade and the three Shadowettes (maybe a tour promo poster?), but this one is already a nice start I think: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI also have Sundance, Buzzer and some others in this style in my Society6 store. I had a lot of fun making this one. It started out with an idea for a stained glass window, but turned into an entire wall visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe original is huge; 8000 px x 9500 px (only on Society6, not Teepublic)

First of all: Happy New Year to everyone! I've always loved the softness of the g1 backcard art, so I made a tribute collage I'll probably continue with this style of artwork. It takes a lot of time, but it's so worth it I think visitors can't see pics , please register or login
